Great food. Very interesting restaurant. Something different in Wollongong
We weren't happy about taking the wine away before we finished even though we paid a good amount of money.

It's little bit expensive but well worth it. The steaks are so tender, sauces beautiful and the staff are very knowledgeable. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We will definitely be going back.
We arrived early on a weeknight and had the choice of seating. The steaks and fish were great all polished off with a bottle of a good red. A very good evening was had by all.
We had a lovely celebratory dinner at Debutante. The meals were delicious and the steaks cooked to perfection. The atmosphere and service were very good. The only negative would be that we waited a VERY long time for our main courses. Our booking was for 7pm and we did not get our main courses served until after 8.30! We were pretty hungry by then so lucky the food was good and plentiful.

Delicious meal. Cheese soufflé was exquisite, the steaks were fantastic. Friendly & attentive service & warm atmosphere. Throughly enjoyed our evening. Only drawback is that the meals were very expensive. $70 steak & $14 for broccoli 🤔 It all tastes great but still a bit pricey in my opinion.

Have the steak it’s not cheap but beautiful flavour
To be honest I was looking forward to this because I love french food but was very underwhelmed. My friends enjoyed the soufflé however my mussels had broken shells and were over peppered..I think otherwise they were a bit gritty. The bread rolls had a black char and for $4 were very average. The fillet steak my friend had was quite fatty. I had ribeye so expected some fat, unfortunately it did not melt on cooking. Picking our knives was a nice touch. The peppercorn sauce tasted strongly of Worcester sauce which was interesting but not to my taste. The duck cassoulet ...my friends were a bit disappointed with the vegetables but I assume were considered provincial. They did not order sides as felt they were over priced. The wine was nice as were the steak sides. Atmosphere it was a week night so there was no atmosphere but we weren’t expecting a busy restaurant. But overall $300 for 4 people I don’t think we will return.

Amazing introduction to this fabulous restaurant. It was everything I wished for when I wanted a chic French bistro with a modern south coast feel.
A very welcome addition to the Wollongong dining scene and long overdue. Look forward to many future visits.

Was a great night. A few things wrong with the meals, but we're happily addressed. Steaks were not cooked to people's requirement and some burnt on outside but medium rare on inside. Otherwise good night
Entrees were outstanding - twice cooked cheese soufle and the crab toast were a delight. I ordered the 250g rump. It was cooked very well. Unfortunately the waitress got the order wrong and the sauce was poured over the steak rather than served on the side as requested. My husband ordered the 400g ribeye. Came on the bone so I think half the weight was bone. Was cooked very well however very grissly. The $65 steak was much better value. The serving of frites and salad that come with the steaks are ample. We ordered a side of beans also - very yummy but we sent a lot of food back. Waitresses are still learning I think - a number of mistakes made throughout the meal. They were fully booked and we had to wait quite a while for our meals. Not a problem except that we only had the table for two hours and if we had desert we definitely would have gone over time. Not sure what they would have done then. Overall, a great addition to the Wollongong dining scene and I hope they keep the doors open as we will go again.

Lovely meal. Cheese soufflé was tasty, mussels were good but being grilled over charcoal made the shells brittle therefore a little difficult to eat. Steak was the standout, really well cooked to medium rare. The salad and frites side servings were generous. Service was good despite the restaurant being very full. All round good meal, would return.

An enjoyable evening, food delicious but tables far too close to one another. Needed to hold water bottle each time the waitress squeezed past. Thought that the service a trifle too casual with somewhat naive comments.

I must off by saying that I recognize that the restaurant is new and some bedding in for staff will take time. However I can’t be as forgiving when it comes to the over cooking some of the steaks. This will need to be addressed. The issue was that some of the groups steaks were not medium closer to well done which didn’t do the steak justice. However when they were cooked as requested they definitely hit the mark. I will give the benefit of a doubt and come back to see if this was a teething problem.
If you want a quality food and wine experience this is the right place for you! Great dishes which are refined and extensive in choice, subtle flavours which are truly delicious. Service is friendly and welcoming, whilst the menu is more on the expensive side the quality speaks for itself, you won’t be disappointed.
Lovely décor, good service. Ordered dry aged rib eye, requested it be cooked 'rare' - it came medium-well. Confit de canard disappointing, accompanying 'cassoulet' consisted of a few poached cubed vegetables and broadbeans with 2 slices of sausage. And you really should not have to pay for sides when meals are at this price point. Hazelnut parfait was nice. As in a French bistro, bread should be complimentary which it is not here. Wine we had was fine but again, very overpriced ($39 for a $11 bottle).
Overall, disappointed, there was no WOW, factor to any of our meals, thats 6 people for 3 courses. Steaks were crucified on outside and raw, not rare in the middle, very average selection of entrees and an even poorer selection of desserts. One meal which we assumed was a main, the raviollii had ONE ravioli on it. I ordered the entry level rib eye, poorly cooked and grissley. Wait staff were poorly trained with little knowledge of menu and I did not get the wine I ordered with my steak. Sad effort guys.
Really nice food. Chef was accommodating to dietary requirements, the atmosphere is fresh and fun. You get to choose the steak knife you’d like from their cool collection, a bit of fun. Nice wine, and yummy food. I had the duck and it was delicious. Recommended!
