Includes your choice of one TEA LEAVES tea and an assortment of seasonal savoury and sweet small bites. Perfect for your bridal or baby shower or simply catching up with a friend. The French toast is made from two thick slices of poppy seed cake and topped with berry compote and clotted cream or something like it. I understand trying to be novel and interesting but this didn't work for me: just too sweet. Great place though, and the dishes served around me all looked good.

The Deane House is a delightful experience. The heritage home has an ambiance that is warm and bright. The service was excellent, with responsive staff. Our friendly server was knowledgeable, explaining the tasty options for Hot Chocolate Fest in detail, as well as any specialty dishes. The menu had unique additions to brunch favourites, and all of our choices were delicious. We look forward to visiting again!

Server was busy with other patrons who were using the 5 course patrons. We were somewhat ignored. The table spacing were way too close to be comfortable The meal was well prepared and tasty. Ordering drinks and menue selection was rather long

We took advantage of the January Supper Club Special and the accompanying wine pairing. Each course was delicious and elegantly served. It was the perfect portion size to try so many delicious local items. The poplar bluff parsnips were amazing, and the grilled tenderloin was a treat. I wish I had taken pictures of everything but I forgot to. The service was fantastic being very attentive and very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine.

Such a lovely spot - historical building with lots of charm. The afternoon tea experience was well worth it and the food was delicious. Shout out to the service as well! Over exceeded my expectations. Well done team! :)

The steak tartare was a little dull. The grind was good but there was a lack of flavour cohesion. The fish and chips and gnocchi were amazing!

Lovely location, beautiful historic building, attentive service (I never had to ask for a water refill), delicious and healthy food. 3 of us had the beet salad which had a tasty combination of flavors, 1 ordered the trout which passed the test with flying colors. The sourdough bread serving was appreciated. Creme brulee for dessert rounded off our perfect lunch meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion!
