El chef y propietario David Turin abrió el establecimiento David en 1998, en la histórica plaza Monument Square, en el distrito de las artes de Portland, Maine.     David's is a MUST when in Portland! A cozy intimate atmosphere, delicious and expertly-prepared food at reasonable prices, and superb service on a busy Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

    I had the haddock and it was amazing! The bottle of Sancerre we ordered was delightful!

    Consistently fantastic food and service! We love all the options Portland’s restaurants provide and visit many of them. Since we visited David’s twenty years ago, we’ve decided that is where we will go when family/friends visit because all ages and palates find something they want to eat (meatloaf, tuna sashimi, burger, sirloin, steak au poivre, garlic knots, brussle sprouts, and salads), and we can rely on the quality.

    First time there and what a treat! Great food and exceptional service. Ali was congenial, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful guiding us with our drink and food choices. Look forward to returning there!

    My wife and I went during restaurant week and it was outstanding. We had the scallop cakes, the salad, the pork tenderloin and the meatloaf. All extremely delicious and expertly prepared. For dessert we both had the warm blueberry crisp with vanilla ice cream. Perfect. The vibe here is great. Our server was terrific. Would absolutely come here again.
