Good food. Not very good service, felt it very poor and not good for a special ocassion.
The staff was not engaged and not helpful to help decide what to order. When asked they did not know how to help you with menu. Seafood was warm.
Ebi shrimp tempura is excellent!
Really loved this place. Beautiful space, great service, eccentric menu and delicious food. Highly recommend
The restaurant is very unique and they did a great job with the decor and ambiance. The food was delicious and the service was great!
We found Daikoku through an online search for a hibachi grill restaurant in Cabo. We requested a hibachi table outside in the atrium area, which had a cool vibe. When we first arrived, we were greeted in fairly short order for our drink order, but after that, the service went down hill quickly. We couldn't find anyone to give us refills or bring forks for our guests who didn't want to eat with chopsticks. We had hoped to order additional cocktails, but couldn't find our waiter or couldn't get his attention. At one point, even the hibachi chef needed something, but couldn't find someone else to get it for him, so he had to leave the grill and go get it himself.
The food was good. We enjoyed the sushi. We felt there were way too many vegetables in the fried rice - almost a 50/50 mix of rice to diced vegetables, and it didn't have a lot of flavor. I think he used a tiny bit of oil and salt and pepper while cooking it. No butter, no soy sauce (maybe that's an American thing). The proteins were all cooked well.
Overall, Daikoku was okay, but we will seek out a new hibachi restaurant next time we are in Cabo.
Great food and the prices are even better!
Visited while on vacation in Cabo. Beautiful ambience...glass floors atop white sands..beautifully breathtaking. Food was just ok. Language barrier made it difficult with ordering but otherwise ok.
This restaurant is so cool! Glad floors indoors, while outdoors you’re met with bamboo trees, small ponds and water streams, two fountains, and seated tables with water running through the inside and out the end. Amazing design
Ricardo, our server, was a joy. Great humor and great service!
I highly recommend the sashimi, I came back twice for more. Great prices as well, very low.
Awesome hidden restaurant in Cabo!!!
Atmosphere was anazing! Food was good.
Food was good, service was poor. Slow and they even forgot our leftovers.... although we waited about 10 minutes. Thick sashimi was the hit of the night.
Huge place snd maybe a large group where you get dedicated servers.
Ok price and good portions.
We had a reservation but there was not a greeter at the front door so we walked in after waiting outside for quite some time. It was apparent when the small portioned, over-cooked edamame arrived after another long wait what type of experience should be expected. We ordered the shabu shabu which was incredibly bland and did not come with the proper serving utensils. I would be fearful that this experience could detour those trying Japanese for the first time. Shame on me for trying Japanese in Mexico. There are several other restaurants in the immediate vicinity which were fantastic. Don’t bother putting that you are celebrating anything when you make your reservation because it will not be acknowledged. Several tables seemed disappointed in their service as well.
Super cute seating area! Staff was very kind! Rolls were unique and delicious, well made, not overly spicy. Would go to again!
Solid food. Tostada hamachi was my favorite and what stood out. Sushi was good but not amazing.
Food was excellent and super large portions! Tried a variety of rolls and soups!
We go to Diakoku at least 2-3 times when we are in Cabo. Excellent rolls and great service.
There were bugs in the salt shaker. We got someone else’s bill despite there being only 1 table of guests. We left without eating.
I hugely apologize for the the situation of the salt shaker. We decided to change it to the salts which come individually. At the same time I would like to also apologize for the bill, there is no excuse for ever. The waiter should of check the bill. We will keep trying our best to offer a high quality service like you deserve. Thank you for taking time to write your comments.
Great atmosphere, staff was attentive and sushi was excellent! We recommend the gyoza and the Eclipse roll! This will become one of our restaurants we will return to! We may even go vk before we leave!
We had the most amazing dinner here! Great ambiance, service, good prices, and high quality food with lots of options. Will definitely be coming here again next time we are in Cabo! YUM!!!
The interior is worth the visit alone, but you can be mesmerized walking over the see-through glass floor. Our sushi rolls were quite good. My wife's miso was very good, Mine with mushrooms was too salty to eat. By the way, our soup and the rolls arrived almost at once. Be sure to tell the waiter to wait on delivering new dishes until you've eaten the ones you have.
Daikoku is the finest Japanese restaurant in Los Cabos. The service, Food, and Atmosphere are great. The prices are very reasonable. This is a MUST visit. We are 16+ year permanent residents in Cabo San Lucas. This is a favorite of ours and we have never been disappointed! For this reason, we visit Daikoku many times a month.
Delicious food. Fresh and flavorful!
Great food and great for large groups to share different rolls and plates
I'm glad I read reviews stating this place doesnt look like much on the outside, but once you're inside it is gorgeous.
We had a reservation but the place wasnt busy and were seated right away.
We got sushi, noodles and two tepanayki dishes. Everything was really good. Will definitely be returning our next trip to Cabo.
Service was slow, but respectful and friendly. Food was good, especially the Shake cone. I would come back!
We come here every time we are in Cabo. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you are transported into an oasis with running water, Koi ponds, garden lushness and that is before you even get into the restaurant. The restaurant has glass flooring, which looks down upon a sand zen garden below. The service is excellent, the sushi and food choices divine and exceptional and the whole dining experience is so worthwhile. If you want great sushi, great ambiance and great service, this is the place!
Incredible experience from start to finish. We will be back!
It looks small and perhaps not impressive from the outside, but inside the door it opens into beautiful outdoor and indoor seating, some cool water features, and best of all great food and great service. We were beyond surprised with our experience and very pleased, we will be returning!
Daikoku is a hidden gem and must dine while in Cabo. The sushi is delicious and fresh.
Odd service, seemed very disorganized, food was good but came out in weird order, ordered white wine and was brought to table warm, not sure id return with NikSan a block away.
Food was excellent!! Fun place.
Super recomendado
