Service very poor and inattentive. Waited at the sign to be seated but no one came. Eventually came inside and after a few minutes of standing there finally got acknowledged. (Saw other groups leave after not being seen.) The one other group in the restaurant was very loud and we couldn't hear ourselves speak. Food was great but drinks hard to come by as no one came near us. When our mains arrived someone spent about 20 minutes painfully dragging tables and chairs around the restaurant in the most teeth jarringly way possible. Absolutely unbelievable! Once we finished mains we were hoping for another drink or some dessert but there was just no one. We waiting almost 30 minutes and then gave up. Disappointing.

Had a great meal at a superb location.
Coupled with very friendly and efficient staff this has to be a place to have a meal.

Wonderful service, professional, friendly and helpful to all our needs. Nice view but couldn't see much as it was evening probably living at lunch. It was my husband's birthday, we had a beautiful dinner. We will remember with joy this restaurant. A delightful experience.

Service was great, very friendly waiter, couldn't do enough for us. Restaurant very clean and spacious. Only drawback was I had steak it was very fatty. I couldn't finish it which is very unlike me.

the evening was spoilt and i was upset as in spite of confirming prior to making my booked we were stopped by the restaurant staff who was quite rude and really not willing to accept our coupon - when I went to the groupon booking tool and made a booking for 7:30 it was accepted - as it was father day I called the restaurant (unfortunately i did not record the name of the person or the date or time) and stated i had made a booking if it was acceptable and she said it was not a problem. i then got her to change my booking to 8. i did not think anything about it and was upset when i got the attitude from the restaurant staff. She then got the manager who seemed very accommodating and helpful saying that if i had confirmed the booking she would accept it. its not as though the restaurant was crowded in fact it was empty. if the coupon was not being accepted being fathers day it should not have accepted the booking or there should have been a clause to say coupons not being accepted - there was nothing.

The food was great and tasty as always but noticed that the portions were reduced. The restaurant staff was still grumpy and whilst paying the bill enquired again about the name of the person and the date and time i made the booked.
It would have been a great experience and a lovely evening if it was not for the attitude of the restaurant staff lacking a lot of customer service,.

Initially the service was very good but after we were serviced our main course we didn't see sight nor sound of anyone again until we went to the till to pay. The music was blaring and due to the choice of music we felt like we were at a 13 year old girl's birthday party. The average age of customers were over 40 so I think it would be a brilliant idea to cater for that age group in the future. It was unfortunate as we have dined at Gusti previously and enjoyed our meal.

The beautiful location of Gusti Restaurant was complemented by the clean layout and the friendly service. Our group of 6 were unanimous in our praise of the lunch dining experience.

Disappointing menu. I saw the menu pre-Covid and it was much much better than the one given to us on Wednesday Night - obviously changed since Covid !! More a pub lunch menu than Dinner. The waitstaff were very pleasant. The Ambience was 0, cold room with too much lighting and the furniture screamed “cafeteria”! The food was fine, that’s all I can say about it. Going out for dinner should be a little special, there was nothing special about Gusti unfortunately.

The $36 steak was perfectly cooked, however it was very sinewy and was placed on the chips which them made the chips soggy; the salad had no dressing or tomato, just lettuce and 2 pieces of cucumber and 2 pieces of carrot. The jus was very nice. The mud cake was stale, very stale and dry, mud cake should be very moist which this mud cake was not.

We have been 3 or 4 times & love it. Staff are grear & food even better.

Menu was very poor and when we found something we wanted in the rump they were out of it on a Saturday night ?! Burger that doesn’t come with chips is just insane, wouldn’t go back. Service was very nice tho.

When we arrived we were greeted by an energetic and very welcoming girl. We thoughly enjoyed everything food was fabulous would definitely recommend.

Lovely outlook over the Swan river. The staff were very friendly & attentive & the food was great . We had 3 mains which wrre lamb shank & vege, rump steak, chips & salaf & a ceassr salad. They were all nicely presented & tasty. I was impressed with the salad with the rump steak as it had a lot in it & not just"rabbit food" like you get at a lot of places. We also ordered 2 desserts that was mud cake & they came out beautifully presented & 1 of them with a ectra strawberries, a candle & happy birthday written over the board for my mum's 86th birthday. All in all a pleasant lunch out. The only downside is we had a pram & there are quite a few steps to get in & out of restaurant.

The steak I ordered was medium well done but felt like well done. I would suggest downgrade your order a level lower to achieve a good result i.e for me would be medium rare. The food tastes excellent however. Generous portions (we could not finish most of them).

when we booked to eat in Gusti we looked at the menu for the lunch.However the menu was different from the menu we saw on the net.We were disappointed that the menu did not reflect what we were getting.The waiter /manager gave us another menu which had entree and dessert.Overall the entree and the dessert was good.The mains was so so.
In the future the restaurant should update and reflect what they are going to serve.

It was a quiet night which may have helped in us getting attentive service, however much appreciated. The food was fresh and tasty - bruschetta and croquettes for entree and both of us having the salmon for the mains, and apple tart with ice cream for dessert. The decor is simple but clean and uncluttered. This was our third visit and we will definitely return.

Opening teething problems. Waitress was great, prawns were an absolute standout. Chicken Tikka was reasonable, presentation was cool. Rump steak (ordered to be cooked rare) was overdone & the calamari was dry & overcooked. We know from past experience that we will return

We first received wrong starter, then when I received my main meal I thought I was given the wrong meal again as I ordered beef cheeks with gnocchi and there was no beef on my plate. The girl brought my meal back to the kitchen and my husband was finished his meal before mine was returned.

We dined at the Gusti with a voucher that gave us $100 worth of food for $50. My partner's entree of scallops and main of chicken schnitzel were both first class and although my main of crab and prawn linguine was very nice, I found the entree to be underwhelming. It was listed as cauliflower fritters but was, in fact, battered, deep fried cauliflower pieces. We shared a dessert of ice cream and lava cake which was the usual fare however when we attempted to drink the coffees we had ordered it proved impossible. One mouthful was all either of us could manage as it was salty beyond belief. Another couple from a nearby table, upon seeing our reaction asked if our coffee tasted strange. We said it certainly did and they told us they had returned their first coffees, received second cups which were also undrinkable and had given up. We didn't risk a second cup, we just asked for the price to be taken off the bill. If I had to hazard a guess, I would say there was a very bad calcium build up in their coffee machine however, that is only my opinion.
Having said that, however, I would certainly try the restaurant again as the food and service were both good.
