Comfortable patio for outdoor (Covid) dining. Food was very tasty, with good portions, & service was prompt.
Food was excellent. We look forward to going back soon
Such a great find, we ended going back just four days later as well.
Hostess was rude and lied to the manager about what tables were available and that I refused to sit at the available tables. Manager then lied when explaining why we were still not seated at 9 when the reservation was for 7:15
Delicious flavorful food. Fun sidewalk dining.
This is a nice little place to have a drink and a meal and feel like you are in a different town. Food is amazing.
Food was absolutely fantastic. Cozy outdoor patio set up for these pandemic times.
Amazing food with bursts of flavors, highly recommend
The service is kind and makes an effort. We wanted to like this place...but...
The food just under delivers. Flavor and seasoning was good - but texture and cook is way off. Empanadas need to be less doughy and more crispy. The lamb was tough and over cooked. The tres leches cake never absorbed the milk and was like stale bread pudding in a pool of milk. Also need to get better wine glasses.
Maria gave great service and the food is amazing! Will definitely be a go to spot for Peruvian food.
Visited for my partners birthday, he is Peruvian so we love Peruvian food and have very high standards. My only feedback focused on the food itself would be the aji de gallina was prepared with a excess of garlic (paired with garlic rice) and the chicken was not shredded how it is prepared traditionally.
Our server was great, he took care of our drinks due to our special occasion. We will most certainly be back to try other menu items!
Thank you!
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Will definitely go back 😊
There were problems with the order - it was not submitted - and we waited for 30 minutes before being told our order was never submitted. We did eventually receive our food, but the food quality was meh at best.
On a positive note, the waiter was very nice and apologetic for theissues.
Food was extremely good, the green raviolis ,are yummy. The Pisco Sour are delicious .
Outstanding restaurant food is delicious. The appetizers are all terrific. My favorite is the filet. The lamb stew and chicken are wonderful. Highly recommended
Good food great service
It was a very nice place to sit and talk without noise and to have very nice ambience. The service was really good, and also the environment, and the atmosphere, but the food was just ok, it was very little at the first place, and the taste was a little bland. So if you do not care about the food and just wanted to sit and have a casual dinner then it works, but the value and quality do not match
Our fave local spot!
nice dinner, nothing crazy.. good prices and good food
Food great, service a little slow
Incredible! Everything we had blew us away. Can’t recommend enough
The entire evening was a huge let down. Didn’t get the high table I reserved, instead we were sat on the farthest table on the sidewalk which had an ant trail under the table which ended up crawling over my wife and I.
Service was terrible, waited 20 minutes before the waiter finally asked what we wanted to drink. We tried two different wines and neither were any good.
We chose the Empanadas for an appetizer and only one salty beef Empanada turned up, it was horrible.
My lamb stew was the only highlight, we gave up on desert due to bad service.
Amazing place and great hosts food was amazing. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely go back.
Even with reservations we waited 30 min before someone came to take our drink orders. Then we waited about an hour before receiving our food and there was only three of us. Other tables that came after us were getting their food and leaving before we even had our plates. Our food looked nothing like the photos. I’m pretty sure they cut our scallops in pieces and they were not served in their shells like the photo. Way overpriced for what we received. $11.5 for a can of beer, $20.5 for 7 small pieces of scallops (maybe 1 full scallop). Not returning.
everything was good but their rare is medium-rare Order under
Very good food. Not enough server (1) for the entire restaurant. Restaurant is look like a taco shop so keep that in mind.
The food was as delicious as it was beautiful, the service was outstanding. Highly recommend!
The cuisine and service was impeccable I love the ceviche, the scallops, the fried rice they serve and I love how they have a beautiful patio
This is always one of my favourite casual restaurants. The food is always fresh and delicious. The sangria is homemade and great too!
Everything from appetizer to dessert was fantastic. A first time experience for everyone in our party and we all we extremely happy with the experience!
One of the best spots in San Diego for Outstanding food.
We made a reservation on open table, and when we arrived the hostess said they had no tables available, and they would not honor a reservation made via the app. She said they forgot to turn off their availability on the app.
The seafood throughout our dishes was so amazingly fresh. Recommend adding the hearts of palm to the ceviche, it makes for a sensational bite. Unfortunately the Catch of The Day which was Mahi Mahi was on the dry side. My partner ordered it and it came in a pool of butter with otherwise flavorless quinoa on the side. The dry mahi was present in my dish as well, but I really enjoyed there rest of the seafood in the Macho, especially the giant prawn and mussels. OH, there is no liquor here and the sangria was on the weak side.
Service was way too slow
Delicious. Great service but it does take some time.
This restaurant is delicious we have eaten there before. Unfortunately we left since we didn’t feel they were being Covid safe. The chef and lady inside preparing drinks were not wearing masks.
One of my favorite restaurants in San Diego was sold and I was worried to go. The former owners had this place down pat. Great service, food, and the ambiance was casual and nice. The good news is the new owners seem to have inherited the same recipes. Everything seemed in place and good like before. Hugely relieved.
Good food ... bad service. Didn’t feel welcome, the girl server didn’t very seem happy when we told her we are also ready to order, when she asked for our drinks (after almost 20 minutes). We were with hungry kids and to see other people who just got there , getting served first , can be extremely annoying. They never check how we’re doing and while the food is good, wouldn’t come back here. Sometimes first impressions do last.
Great ceviche!
Service was friendly but slow. Bathroom was unavailable. Food tasted very good. Portions were generous. Sangria was tasty
