The food was amazing! Would definitely recommend!
Lovely food and service. I was a little worried about mixed reviews I had read but no need as everything was prefect. Portions are a little small so we had sides with our main meal but we didn't have starters. I would return.
Every dish was amazing. We were served by a young girl whos customer service was excellent!
Samosa chaat and cod cake was very good. As was the aubergine. The lamb shank was too spicy. Black lentils perfect. The naan bread was doughy, heavy and hadn’t risen well so disappointing. The ginger toffee pudding was an excellent end.
Great service, good welcome, nice table. Good to see the open kitchen. Everywhere clean and we felt Covid safe. Food nice - perhaps a little more description on the menu would have been helpful. Far from your average high street restaurant.
EXCELLENT FOOD. .
We booked the 9course sharing menu for our Wedding anniversary.
This is our 3rd visit here and are always impressed by the decor and ambience as well as the attentive staff and obviously the high quality of food served.
Each dish was delicious and cooked to perfection.
The Baby Aubergines curry and Bhel Puri chaat were our favourite dishes.
For me there was too many dishes.
For future events like tasting menus maybe a maximum of 6 would be an option.
I highly recommend Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea to everyone who enjoys fine dining and Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist.
After seeing the restaurant on TV and other people telling us good it was we thought we should try for ourselves. We were bot disappointed the food and service was fantastic, sitting outside watching the time go by and people chatting and milling about made all the difference. Thank you Cinnamon Kitchen.
Lovely Indian meal with the joy of relaxed outside dining and no pressure to leave. Perfect
We enjoyed the fabulous food! Every dish was so delicious with just the right level of spices.
The food was bland & tasteless. Had to ask for salt & pepper to give it some flavour. There was drunk customer who was shouting & swearing in the restaurant & the staff did nothing which made the whole experience unpleasant.
In other words it was a terrible experience 👎🏾
Amazing food. Everything was delicious. Slightly overpriced.
Dear Guest, Thanks for your valuable feedback, we are pleased you had a good time, we look forward to seeing you soon. Best wishes Team Cinnamon Battersea
When we arrived we were ignored for 10-15mins before we were finally seated at the furthest corner of the restaurant. We waited for 30mins without any service until we complained to the manager who apologised, gave us free drinks, a starter and asked one of the servers to take care of us. Overall the evening worked out well despite the rocky start.
Great staff and great vibe. The restaurant was quite busy so had to wait a while for food and service at times but staff tried their best
I have always liked the Cinnamon kitchen. The staff are always really friendly and the food is delicious! Great night out.
Delicious food and wine, and great service. Thanks
Excellent service, went through the bin to find my friend’s retainers. Great food too.
Stunning food, flavours and presentation. Highly recommend to anyone. Can’t wait to return.
Wonderful restaurant. Went for a Sunday meal and found a deal as part of the London restaurant festival for £35pp 9 dish rating menu. The food was absolutely divine and extremely tasty. Loved it - definitely going back
We do not eat meat so they were kind enough to swap the meat dishes for a prawns and fish curry which was very kind and not a big deal. Thanks !!
Absolutely delicious food served by friendly staff - lovely.
The food was amazing and really flavourful.
Just a bit disappointed with how slow the service was particularly with regards to the speed in which the drinks came out.
Delicious food! We will certainly come again. We had the nine course festival menu and it was divine!
Fantastic tasty food, excellent service, will definitely visit again.
Starters had great spices and flavour but my lamb shank had no flavour, it was though it had just been boiled in water. I wasn’t expecting hot and spicy but it was just bland. I think the staff also need better training every table seemed to have to wave at the staff to get any attention.
Having been to Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Kitchen in the City and Cinnamon Bazaar, I was keen to try Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea. It definitely didn't disappoint. The food was tasty, beautifully presented, and a perfect quantity and the service excellent. It's a great restaurant for either a casual night out or so something more special. If I had two requests, it would be for them to include the option of an Indian wine (which Cinnamon Club offers) and a greater range of pre-dinner drinks/cocktails. Highly recommended.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, consistently good food. Highly recommended.
The food arrived promptly but the we could hear that couples sat around side of us were experiencing errors. One couple was brought the incorrect main dish and a side dish did not arrive until the staff were reminded. The other couple, who had ordered a while before us, hadn’t received their food and we had and then they were brought a dessert without having had their main dishes.
The staff were mostly friendly and apologetic.
Was expecting very good food given the reviews. Starters was good , main courses very avarage.
Some items, the flavours had not panetrated the food. Deserts overpriced, small amounts.Looks like the Kulfi , not home made and tasted average.Slow service. Expensive for average food. Was disappointed.
Excellent food and service, very enjoyable evening
Fantastic food, nice staff and a lovely setting. Would defo recommend
Had high expectations as I have been to Cinnamon club and the food there was exceptional.
Unfortunately here the food was bland and lacked spice.
Food was so bland that my 5 year old niece was able to eat it.
Indian food is known for its flavour and spice, in our experience it lacked on both accounts.
Would not visit again, which is a shame
The food was delicious, really great flavours. The only thing that let it down was that the service was not very attentive and the toilets smelt like a public urinal.
The menu has a wonderful choice of tasty dishes. The butter chicken is delicious!
Food was lovely but the service was slow and the toilets don't look like they've been cleaned for weeks!!!
Fantastic experience, food and service. Such a lovely atmosphere and will be coming back very soon.
It was good, food wasn’t particularly special and I think they were understaffed the night we went cause our waiter was running around a lot and tough to get hold of. The atmosphere was great and so were the cocktails
I think my favourite thing about the Cinnamon Kitchen was its location in the railway arches coupled with the vegan option for dessert! I am still dreaming of the pineapple. The vegan option for main that I had was decent, though possibly too creamy for my taste. Still, I am pleased there were some interesting and high quality vegan options. I was saddened to be unable to get a Portuguese wine due to 'Brexit' (per our server) and instead had to fork out more for a New Zealand wine which is very eco-unfriendly. I hope the European wine list can be padded out and even have some English wines added!
Starters and desserts were great. Mains were lacking a little. Loved the venue, great ambience.
My friend ordered butter chicken which contained way too much fat on the chicken. She mentioned it to the manager and he did take it off the bill, I ordered chicken biryani and I counted at least 7 chicken pieces within a very small bowl and hardly any rice proportion ratio of rice and chicken was really bad.
When I mentioned it the manager he said people want protein when they order this. he missed the point which was the proportion of rice and chicken was very bad of rice I barely got a spoon and half out as the rest was entirely chicken.
I have been to many restaurants and had the chicken biryani and the key.is right ratio of the chicken to rice.
Also I didnt come looking for protein if I was on a protein diet I wouldn't even be eating indian or biryani for that matter!
The waiter who served us was really a lovely man. Other than that I wouldnt recommend either the dish or the place as it is very limited.
If you're looking for good Indian food, this is not it. Kebabs should be very well cooked, on both occasions, they gave me undercooked kebabs. The lamb shank curry which is the most expensive main dish was mediocre at best. Service was very slow and staff didn't seem keen to serve you.
