Best Chinese food ever! And we have had a lot of Chinese!
Excellent food; but it took over an hour to get our food. Service was excruciatingly slow
The restaurant is a nice setting and we had views of the full moon. Not sure why they had some form of boxing/ ultimate fighting on the TVs over the bar. Interesting contrast with the live music which was fairly traditional. The food was okay but the Singapore style noodles were fairly bland. The highlight was the pineapple shrimp. The food also arrived too quickly - the steamed crab wontons k particular which were a bit waterlogged. On a positive note they were flavourful but unfortunately there was no identifiable crab meat.
Our waiter was efficient and pleasant but overall the experience was lacking.
Came here for dinner around 5pm. Had reservations on OpenTable but it was empty when we arrived. Location was easy to get to with ample parking. Seated quick and staff was friendly.
Unfortunately that's the extent of our enjoyable experience. The food itself was mediocre to poor. We ordered the appetizer sampler and dumplings. Other reviews had noted they thought they were store bought but based on the lack of flavor most stores wouldn't carry something so bland. On top of that the apps were soaked in oil. For our main course we ordered spicy chicken and chow mein noodles for our kids. The noodles were fine but the chicken again had no flavor and was soaked through in oil. Final bill came out to about 90USD, a little overpriced. Service was nice. Didn't take any leftovers home and don't plan on coming back.
The manager was smoking just outside the restaurant and the smoke was blowing in. They had two musicians playing and they were loud. The service was great, the food OK. Mongolian beef was really good and don’t bother with the lettuce wraps. I would go back again because it was Chinese and hope to have better luck.
Such a wonderful change from Mexican food for a change!!
The food was delicious!! Generous enough to share every dish!! Service was perfect!! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Aniversario de boda
We always visit Chin's on our annual travel to Cabo. Service is excellent. Great Peking Duck. Soups are fantastic. Looking forward to returning in March
The food was outstanding. Great dinners and each is enough for two people. Well priced meals. Service was fantastic as well. The only reason I didn’t give it a perfect score is that the wine was too expensive. It was very good but a more reasonable price would be appreciated. We will definitely return to Chins!
The food was delicious as always. We always order more then we need and bring the rest home for leftovers the next day.
We ate at Chin’s for the first time this week and enjoyed the overall experience. It was good but not great. The restaurant was quiet because we ate early and also it’s the slow season in Cabo, which was fine for us. It’s a lovely restaurant. The service was good. The food was good. We especially liked the egg rolls and the Mongolian beef. The orange chicken sauce was very thin and not much taste. The first margarita was better than the second—different people making the drinks made a notable difference in the quality. We will definitely go back and try some different dishes—the menu is extensive.
The food was terrific, however, the service was strange. We felt very rushed the moment we walked in. It was "hurry up and order a drink", then "hurry up and order your food". Then, after all our food was delivered, and it was delicious, the staff continued to hover, and kept trying to take our unfinished plates away asking us, "Are you finished?" It was very strange because there was only one other party ( 3 people) in the restaurant when we arrived and nobody else ever came in. From the time we arrived until we paid the check and left, it was a total of 45 minutes! That's the fastest we've ever had a dinner in a fairly upscale, sit-down restaurant. I don't think we will eat at Chin's again- however, I may order and carry-out because the food was good.
Very good quality food (nothing questionable) I took my whole family. We all got something different and shared. Everything from the apps to desert was spectacular!
Llegamos 15 minutos tarde por la reservación y nos dijeron que la cocina está cerrado. En Google, los horarios son indicados 12:30 a 10:30.
Kept pouring us expensive bottled water when we said no. Waiter didn’t take our order for the first hour. Wine bottles were more expensive per glass than single glasses?
Absolutely delicious Chinese food, with attentive service that aims to please.
The best Asian food I have ever had. We were sick of paying One&Only price ($100 NY Strip, $72 Pasta, $30 Cheeseburger) so we traveled 5 minutes and so glad we did. The wait staff was excellent!
The best Chinese food ever! Every time we are in Cabo, we always go there for dinner and make sure to order extra so we can have leftovers for lunch the next day.
