                                                    The biggest problem is, the tables are EXTREMELY close together. The woman’s purse next to me was preventing me from being able to set my arms beside me, my husband and I felt we had to literally whisper to each other and couldn’t talk freely about the conversations we wanted to have at dinner. We wanted an intimate date night, which is what the website reads. And yes the ambiance gives romantic and cozy, the lighting, decor, and music is right, but the tables are way too close together it made us both extremely uncomfortable. We date night a lot and this was different…way too close. The food was also a little meh to be honest. We got fries that were labeled steak frites but were instead potato skins. I got the salmon and it was served on what tasted like a can of generic brand sweet potato mush. And when I say sweet I mean SWEET. It was extremely sweet and did not pair well with the flavor of the salmon at all. Also it was served to me raw and they had to remake it :/ this place truly has potential but I feel changes need to be made in order to get repeat customers. One last note, the area is very unsafe. while driving home, our car was parked right along the side of the building and it was a one way, so we had to go straight there was no other way, we were maybe 100 ft from the restaurant where 2 cars were blocking the road and 2 men were shirtlessly fighting each other in the street completely blocking us from being able to drive through them. we had to split them up with our car. Absolutely not the date night we envisioned. :/

                                                    It was me and my husband first time at Chef and Cocktails. I took him there for his birthday. This was truly a different atmosphere. It was intimate, cozy, and vibrant with the music playing. The music wasn't too loud and just at the right level. The menu was superb. The waitress gave his insight on the drinks which was delicious. We had the lobster bites which was very tasty. Especially the dipping sauce. My husband had the Oxtail lasagna and I had the lambchp lollipops. Both entrees were exquisite. Portion size was just enough. Overall, everything was wonderful. Very well worth it.

                                                    The Good: The restaurant is a vibe! This set the stage for a romantic Saturday evening date night with my wife of 20 years. The space was clean. The decor was a modern contemporary look with a focus on R&B; Loved it! Our server Chace (or Chance), was clean, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The drinks were on point! The appetizer was tasty and the entrees were flavourful! The portion sizes were more than enough. You are definitely taking a bag home. (Great for the Sunday afternoon snack.) Lastly, the price for the evening was moderately high. Given the portion sizes and the quality of drinks I get it though.

                                                    Service was decent. Tables are too close to each other, we thought I’d be something a little more private. Food was not worth for the money at all. We wouldn’t mind paying all that money if the food was actually good. We came with high expectations and were a little disappointed. Place looks very nice and modern which I loved. Unfortunately would not go again.

                                                    I came here for my 40th birthday with a few friends. The service was amazing. The food recommendations were on point. The drinks were very flowing and the vibe was perfect. I will be back and I definitely recommend!!!

                                                    We came for a birthday dinner, on a week night. There were a few other people there as well but the server was attentive, made good recommendations and was polite. I had the Caesar salad & Crab bisque my date had the Rasta pasta & salmon egg rolls. We both loved our selections. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to she crab soup but it was a good dish. The soup wasn’t as thick as I prefer but that’s a matter of preference, it was flavorful with good sized pieces of crab & lobster. The salmon egg rolls were okay, a lil too crisp but good portions of salmon inside. The pasta was flavorful, seasoned well and also had good sized pieces of chicken. We ordered whiskey cocktails at our servers recommendations but were strong and mixed well. My only complaint is the parking situation. Otherwise an incredible experience. We will return.

                                                    I had the most amazing time celebrating my pre-birthday with my friends. The staff provided us with EXCELLENT service. Our server recommend the Lychee Martini and it did not disappoint. We ordered the salmon egg rolls, salmon bites, crab bisque, oxtail lasagna, red snapper & lamb chops. Everything we tried was delicious. This is the perfect place for a date night, small gathering or solo dinner. Make your reservation now.

                                                    We had a delightful time with friends at Chef's Kitchen. Colby set the tone for the evening and was very helpful with accommodating special seating arrangements -- thank you! Taj is an attentive, engaging waiter and offered helpful suggestions for our enjoyable dining experience. The calamari appetizer was done to perfection and our main courses were delicious. The atmosphere at Chef's Kitchen is friendly and welcoming-- this was our first visit and we look forward to our next time to explore more of the tantalizing and creative menu (and cocktail) items!

                                                    I enjoyed the atmosphere and our waitress was very attentive. The vibe was very cool. My only issue was the shorty short rib was extremely fatty and with such a small portion, I barely got any actual meat. For the price you pay, I was disappointed with the portion of the protein. Drink were delish though!
