Chai Naasto Hammersmith calificaciones y reseñas
Yet another wonderful evening at Chai Naasto, the food was delicious, very flavourful . They cater really well for both vegetarians and meat eaters, my favourite is the lamb biriyani. Cocktails are yum, try to get there for happy hour- 6-7! Waiters although very busy are are friendly and helpful.... They gave my kids a lovely birthday surprise. Definitely one of my new favourites.
As Indian street food lovers I booked this place as a surprise
Birthday meal for my husband. It was amazing. The food is so fresh and bursting with flavour. It's not bombarded with lots of garlic and it doesn't float in oil like other places! I couldn't stop raving about this place... I've already had people go to the local one and they agreed too. The tables do get fully booked at the Hammersmith branch. I booked a week in advance! And it was well worth it. I love the ambience as it's very authentic and Indian style. We have never come across a brilliant chaat place like this before! This will now be a Regular special occasion eating place for us!
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with a love of flavour. The authentic Indian food matches the colourful vibe. The staff are friendly and the service is efficient. Although there were many dishes on the menu which I enjoyed, the Chilli Cheese Bites were phenomenal, and their Chai Star Martini is hard to beat.
It was my first visit to Chai Naasto and what a great treat. There was so much variety to choose for for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Our waiter was excellent and made fantastic recommendations, totally loved the lamb biryani, paneer mirch, Nizami’s Lamb Samosa Chaat and Rajasthani Murgh Ke Sole to name a few. The signature cocktails were great, loved Mumbai Mirch and Himalayan Fizz, can't wait to try the teas next time. Already planning my next visit!
Hugely disappointing. Staff attitude was appalling. We were made to sit on the road halfway through our meal. When tried to give feedback of our horrible experience to help them avoid this happening with other customers they accused us of not reading the fine print. Only good thing was starters and the new waitor who was ever so polite and friendly.
If you are looking for something light and wanted something will full Indian flavour then you have picked the right place to go to chai naasto as you will have the best street food you can find like their pani puri shoot that was just amazing as the food just melts in your mouth. What can you say about the pav bhaji there was a bit different to the traditional as they put cheese in it but it was so good that we got it takeaway.
A great concept. Food was okay however service was terrible. Took 1 hour for the drinks and first starter to arrive on the table and then when asked about the rest, waitress said the full order had not reached the kitchen. Would have appreciated being notified of this wait. Tables were not cleaned after we had finished eating, dirty plates left in front of us for almost an hour. When we decided to clean up after ourselves as we were getting no service, a waitress looked at us, smiled at us and walked off leaving the plates once again in front of us. Staff are clearly not trained. Disappointed overall.
Good food but appalling chaotic service. They need to train their staff who almost appear to be on work experience!!! Ask them a question and the answer is "don't know", just hand you bowls of food instead of placing them on the table. Half an hour vveore anyone comes to take a drinks order and then we had to ask thm to come over.
Another 20/30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Take drinks from the table which we were still consuming. Had to leave the table a few times to ask for service. Need to get their act together or they will suffer as no repeat business from me.
Went as a group of us for my mums birthday. We are all vegetarian and there was a lot of choice, even for mains the owner suggested what they can make which was vegetarian. We were seated outside due to only having outside available, however they had heaters so we didn't feel cold. Food was really delicious and service was very fast. Would definitely recommend this as a small or large group. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we cannot wait to try the Harrow branch as that is pure vegetarian.
Awesome Indian Street Food, with a slight twist. Samosa Chaat Salad, Bombay Cheese Bites, Tandoori Jhinga Chatpata, Quail Egg Kofta's were the highlights, but I'm sure everything else taste great, it definitely looked. Customers on the next table were raving about their food too!
Great food with very cool surroundings. The only down side was the service. Staff seemed a bit awkward and it was evident they were worried about timings and fitting everybody in. Based on the size of the restaurant and the food it offers I think this would work much better as a walk-in allowing staff to focus on the people in the restaurant rather than those soon to be arriving.
The food was awesome. The service was poor .Spend 60 pounds on food. Was given a desert menu but nobody cared to take the order back.Kept on looking for the waiter for order. The restaurant had only 2 tables wasnt busy.Had to ask for bill finally.
This place is quite unique - most of us know what a typical Indian restaurant is like, whether high end, middle, or everyday....but what we tasted was unlike anything we have ever tasted anywhere else! This 'street food' thing MUST be experienced.....it's absolutely awesome! The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the staff are delightful. This is NOT a fast food joint.....be prepared to wait a little while for your dishes - this is because everything is prepared fresh, and it IS very much worth the wait!
Absolutely great find for small plates + Indian cuisine.
Ambience is so inviting and colorful. Gives a good vibe to sit and dine with friends and family.
Love their variety of cuisine. They definitely bring in authentic food. Personal fan of their Pani puri shots and Chilly cheese bites. Good vairety of cocktails..
Service is moderate. Some of them are amazing. Esp Stella. Some are yet to be trained to be more hands-on as sometimes things get delayed for no reason.
Overall a great one to spend an evening with your group!!
Second time in less than two weeks that I have visited Chai Naasto. I went back because the service was very friendly but overall because of the quality of the food and great value for money . The portions are decently sized, the flavours are delicately combined in all dishes and presentation didn't disappoint either
Great place to bring the family. The service was great and the food was delicious. Make sure you make a reservation as this place is small and gets very busy. Long queues were waiting when we left. The best dishes were the scallops, the lamb chops, the kebab, the paneer and the chocolate dessert.
Definitely recommend this place.
