Cecconi's Miami Beach (fka Soho Beach House - Cecconi's) calificaciones y reseñas
Loud, very loud construction noises while we were eating our first time there. Not worth the 120$ we spent to have to listen to the loud machines 20 feet from us. Very poorly timed too as it was 8pm on a Saturday. Other than that food was good and service was attentive. Ambiance was great. A little hot and humid since it's outside and in Miami, should have more ventilation.
Terrible service. Waiter barely checked on us. Ordered an appetizer and he admitted he never put it in. By the time we were able to tell him, our dinner arrived. We asked for a key lime pie instead for our birthdays and he still charged us for it. Just terrible service. Was hoping Cecconi's would be different than the usual miami bad service as it's so great in LA. I did the prefix for Miami Spice but the appetizer had something i was allergic to and he said he couldnt change it at all for me, he didn't even care to ask.
It was first time visiting the restaurant and the food was delicious. It was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself to a great lunch. The food was excellent, however the service was mediocre from the server Marco. Being my first time I expected an introduction of the menu and friendlier service.
My wife who is 36 got carded and the waiter expected her to have her passport and would not take a foreign drivers license as a form of ID. She is a citizen of Argentina. As a result she could not share the wine with me. Not the best date night
The ambience, service, food was superb. The heat was unbearable! How can you enjoy yourself when you are sweating and a fan is blowing hot air and is blowing at your hair? I would expect that at a sport bar but not while dining at $100 per person restaurant. Then, the seating is sooooo uncomfortable!!! The fabric chairs have a strange tilt to them where your thighs are raised, the benches have these old looking pillows that may be great for lounging but so awkward for eating, and the last choice were these wooden French looking chairs that were hard and also very uncomfortable. I couldn't wait to leave. I guess the beautiful ambience of the lights in the trees and the delicious food is what keep people coming back for. Do not visit during the summer! They need to update their a/c system or put in portable a/c's instead of fans.
It was very warm and our fan was given to another table, mid meal. How can they take it from one customer and give it to another. However when we mentioned this to the waiter, he quickly got us another fan. The food was very salty and the wine was not very good.
I didn't realize it was Miami Spice month and the waiter never mentioned it to us. I ended up ordering the beet salad, ahi tuna, and two desserts along with a bottle of sparkling water.
My bill was $82. I asked the waiter if it was correct and he said yes. So I tipped $16. Yesterday I went to Nobu and the server told us about Miami Spice and showed me the menu as well as telling me the service charge was the gratuity tip. I always tip well, but I thought the server not saying anything and then taking the receipt before we were done eating was a little tacky. At least wait till we leave and he would have seen we double tipped by mistake.
Lastly, it was my friends bday and I noted that on my reservation and either of the two desserts even had a candle.
We had an absolutely wonderful lunch here. The food was amazing: pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe as well as the cured salmon, were delicious. Loved the outdoor seating, which was excellent for creating an atmosphere that one wouldn't want to leave: natural light, fans, draped light fabric...perfection.
We could not have faulted the service nor the quality of the food. Everything came out well presented, perfectly cooked and the freshness and quality of ingredients shone through. Dishes not too complex nor too bland. Very much as expected of Cecconi's.
