Not much to fault on our Friday night dinner visit. The steaks were amazing, prompt service & the wait staff friendly & non-intrusive.
Richard stopped by our table ensuring we were having a good night & was very affable.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Just found that the new place is very small compared to the old restaurant, feels like you are sitting onto of the other guest and not very private this was in the standard seating area, next time we will try the other part, this is just feedback for the restaurant other than the space it is still the same, very good service and the best steak in QLD.
It's a shame it had to move from the old premises.

I haven’t been to Cavs for quite some time and was really looking forward to the new surroundings and a great steak .. and I was NOT disappointed..
The calamari, warm olives and prawn share plates were delicious, and my eye fillet cut like butter ... staff were friendly and unobtrusive.. all round a great experience 🙏🌻

We have been to Cavills on several occasions since discovering their new location. The food & service are excellent. Having tried a number of different dishes on their menu I can honestly recommend you give them a try.

I made the suggestion that for me at least, the hot share plates need small side plates and splades because some pieces need cutting because they are quite large.

First visit to new premises. Been many times at original restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful meal as always

Fish tacos were lovely unfortunately the ribs and eye fillet not so much.

Staff was fantastic but I had the scollops on top of the fine pasta which was swimming in buttery oil. It was totally unedible.

We had a great night catching with friends.
Like the idea that we can bring a bottle of wine per couple.
We had a great waitress who kept filling a glass of ice for us, to put in our wine .
Overall it was a well run restaurant.

We had a very enjoyable evening. We had a variety of meals between the 6 of us! Everyone commented on how lovely the food was, and the service is always great.

Outstanding meals, great service, a little of a wait for the food. And not much parking.

Out of the 5 steaks ordered , 1 was a bit rarer than expected, but still tasty .
Overall very nice meals

Had my birthday dinner here and it was the best night out in a long time. From the minute we walked in the door we felt so welcomed and nothing was to hard or to much to ask for. All the staff made my night feel extra special. Thank you.

Food was great, way too noisy in the rooftop restaurant area which seemed more like a pub environment. Need to separate day time drinkers and family functions from evening dining. Pricing is for a top end steakhouse which the food captured to but the ambience didnt. Was my sons 16th Birthday and he had a pretty good meal.

Nice relaxing setting.

We booked for 7.30pm, from the time we sat down it took a long time for the waitress to take our food order and we did not get our main meal then until 9 pm. Will not book this time slot again.
Cannot fault the food though 😊
