Caruso’s is a rebirth of a restaurant that was created by Rakan Shteiwi in the 1979. Many of the original Spinning Fork recipes came from the original Caruso’s which was located in downtown Cincinnati. We look to merge classic and modern flavors inspired by traditional Italian and American Italian cuisines.

we always enjoy Caruso’s. It’s a good experience and a consistent one. Our server did a great job and the food was as good as we always experience. We find ourselves indulging on the bread to excess and leaving us with a challenge to finish our really good entrées, great place for an evening out.

Our server was very attentive and patient with us as we had 6 people (1 elderly person). The food came out hot and fresh and was amazing! Definitely get the Carrot Cake...best I have ever had!

Our trips to Caruso's usually offer us an outstanding service and dining experience. This most recent trip wasn't bad, by any means, but some things were off. I'm chalking this up to "everyone-has-a-bad-day." We had a reservation for 4pm, for a birthday celebration. The hostess station was friendly and seated us right away, but no acknowledgement of the birthday. Our server was very friendly and engaged us easily. However, she didn't offer the specials for the evening, so I had to ask. At the top of our service, she didn't mention the birthday either, but waited until the end of the meal, when offering a special occasion dessert on the house. We didn't receive a bread basket with our meal, which would have been appreciated with a sauce-heavy entree. Aside from those minor inconsistencies, it was as always...delicious food in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The food was amazing. Our server was nice and checked on us several times. She seemed to be annoyed when we requested items, but that could have just been the way she is and not necessarily annoyed, that’s just the vibe we got. Servers have personal lives too and things happen. Servers have off days too and that’s ok. We’ve all been there. She gave us our checks, but we sat there about 30 minutes waiting for her to come get our cards. We finally had to go to the front to pay. The food was amazing though.
