This was our second time and it’s still a unique experience - between the all black decor and charred wood that surrounds the tables along with the cuisine that’s all cooked over a wood fire everything is on theme. The staff is super knowledgeable about the cuisine and spoke very good English for the non-Spanish speakers in our party. The waiter even provided a mezcal tasting since I wasn’t a connoisseur. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Cabo!
If you are looking for a special place for dinner, this is the place. Very unique decor for you to enjoy. Food quality is excellent. Service is also outstanding.

Wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and helpful in explaining dishes. The corn was amazing- I would come back to Cabo just to eat that again. Also had the “Piggy” which was good. We also ordered mushrooms but the waiter forgot- not a big deal because the food was filling and delicious.

Started with appetizers of roasted broccoli with mole, caramelized chili flakes, yummy pumpkin seed powder; heirloom tomatoes with carrot pesto, cheese crumble; 3 large shrimp on pork belly. Entrees included smoked wagyu brisket (so tender!) organic vegetables and my favorite, rib eye with organic vegetables.
This was definitely an experience! The restaurant is very unassuming in location and exterior ambiance, but step inside and you definitely get the mesquite grill almost 'Francis Mallmann-esgue' vibe. The kitchen is open and they give you a quick tour of the different open fire cooking elements, and then they seat you at your table. Everything is perfectly set up with a carbon/fireside/burnt décor- even down to the black basalt dinnerware. We had a group of 10 and we all choose the Chef's tasting menu to eat family style. Service was excellent and we drank the most incredible craft smoked and unsmoked cocktails through-out the dinner. (more than 45 to be exact...and NO we are not embarrassed about it!) The food was beautiful, creative, and utterly delicious! The service was impeccable! It was a VERY EXPENSIVE meal, but worth it to do at least once. I could eat those crispy carbon onions all night long! Never had anything like them! If you can afford it.... I would highly recommend this place! It blows Flora Farms out of the universe ;-)

This was our 2nd visit since 2019. Brash explained every dish we ordered in detail as it was brought to us. Every dish is a work of art and delicious too. It's fun to order multiple items and rotate amongst our group. We'll dine here every time we're in Cabo.

We were in a large group, we took 3 different tables. Maybe they were not prepared but it hasn’t had all the dishes we were asking for. For example, 7 people asked for the Wagyo and they had only 4.
The other problem we had was that they haven’t told us about the time and when we finished and wanted to ask for desert they told us that the kitchen was closed.
Despite this the place and the food are amazing!

Absolutely terrible service and hospitality. I called to see where they were located, she told me she couldn't hear me and hung up on me. Then we arrive only to wait 30 minutes for our reservation, and the hostess to tell us that the kitchen closes at 9 and we needed to order soon. What? We weren't even seated yet we were seated outside still waiting 20 minutes for the complimentary drinks they offered. So ridiculous. My boyfriend ended up convincing me to eat here. And while the food was delicious. We got to the table and ordered right away only to be told by the rudest waitress I have ever encountered (the girl with the purple hair and the bad attitude) that half of the menu was sold out. When I commented on why this was she said “well the kitchen is closing soon and you were late to your reservation” continuing to argue with me about being seated for an 8pm reservation at 8:45pm. Clearly her and the host talked and blamed this on us being 9 minutes late to our reservation. Well when we called you to find you you were rude and hung up. We are tourists like almost everyone in that restaurant. Have a bit of understanding. Aside from our experience everyone around me was impatient and got their food very late. When it arrived at their table the table next to us literally said “finally”. Anyway, this place sucks don’t eat here.

I read the reviews on this place, and usually when the bar is set that high it's hard to hit those expectations. That said, the food was even better than the previous reviews described! I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion, a fun group dinner or just a casual dining experience. The food is absolutely OUTSTANDING!
One of the best and most unique meals in Cabo. Very much like Fire Door in Australia with the custom wood burning grills and dark interiors. The chef’s tasting menu is the route to go for the best culinary experience. The vegetables were out of this world - corn like No other and charred onion that was heaven, Seafood ceviche was unique with its smoky mesquite flavor, and the Black Market meats melt in your mouth from the 16 hour slow cooked brisket, to the Kubuto pork chops and ribs. This is a must see while in Cabo for authentic modern Mexican cuisine. I would love to have this concept back in New York City.
Olga was great, and a bit of a surprise. Negroni -wow! The food was wonderful and new. The music is a bit too loud and the prawns were overcooked. Were going back again, eventually.

Such a wonderful dining experience. The food cooked (and presented) beautifully. Everything cooked on open flame. The meat dishes were spectacular. Broccoli and corn apps to die for! And you must have the s'mores for dessert. We will be back.
