The food was awesome great sizing. We always enjoy the outlook and love the fact we can bring our puppy.

Was great lunch but unfortunately we had the swimming carnival noise / loud music etc next door...so was difficult to hear each other
Overall though was surprised by the venue and will be going again..

Took a while for someone to served us. We asked for water a couple of times but nobody ever gave us one. The banana bread was so tough I could hardly swallow it.

The food and service were great. We came down as a group and really enjoyed it.

Looking forward to going for breakfast again. Enjoyed the freshly squeezed juice the most.

In the past have been to Catalinas quite a few times and found it a very special place.
This time it’s like it has new owners who don’t know what they are doing.
Very unprofessional staff.
Ordered cold fish which was near warm.
Ordered but had to ask 3 times where the order was.
I’m sure staff had forgotten.
Certainly not a proper use of its premier position.
Very disappointed.

This was the worst meal ever. Is good that you can bring your dog as the barramundi was not fit for human consumption . Also salad should have been called lettuce as that's all it was. Nice spot. Bugger all choice on the menu. Certainly freshly thawed for your convenience fish.

Lovely setting for my family birthday dinner. The menu was perfect with something for all tastes. I'm not usually a dessert girl but all 3 that we tried were worth the calories :)
The service was great also!

The food was good, but very pricey. Too much mint in the chicken salad. Sign outside indicates restaurant parking, but we got an $80 parking ticket!!!!

Great spot on the water with a very welcoming team and great food/coffee. Always enjoy our breakfast and lunch there and our dog is also very welcome to sit with us and is spoilt by the staff too.

Food was great although expensive, drinks available were fantastic. Unfortunately another patron’s child decided to kick my small dog who was sitting underneath our table. But other than that it was a lovely visit and we would definitely return!

Good vegetarian dishes. A wedding was being prepared so we were asked to leave.

Food and cocktails were delicious. Was a little disappointed we were not made aware of a function, had a 1pm booking - ate around 2 and was told to leave at 2.45pm was very rushed. but great service

Service was poor, I stood waiting to be seated for a good 5mins while staff where talking once seated the waitress was quite rude, no water for table offered had to ask for it and that seemed like an effort. Food was average would definitely not order the salmon for breakfast, salmon was terrible fed most of it to my dog. Asked for a side order of sourdough which was on the burnt. Beautiful restaurant, amazing outlook staff and food a let down from previous visits.

Only one minor complaint...no celery was served with my bloody Catalina. I know it’s only similar to a bloody Mary’s but the celery makes and compliments the drink!

Amazing dinner, the eye fillet and snapper & prawn crispy wontons where delicious.

Our first time diners at cafe and it did not disappoint. Staff were super friendly and attentive and our breakfast order arrived quickly. Food was fantastic. We will certainly visit again soon.

Food was fantastic service was slow and the sign in the Carpark that says cafe Catalina parking leaves out the part where it's still council pay and display parking resulting in an $80 fine and whoever answered the phone when my wife called to suggest they add that to the sign for future diners was unwilling to put the manager on and rude to put it lightly. Great place if you're keen to wait for service and spend a couple of hundred dollars for 2 people and you're aware of the pay and display.

Good to see a varied menu rather than the same old tired items.

Delightful location; staff are very friendly to my sister who has short term memory issues, they always recognise her and chat to her which cheers her up.

Excellent in every way, a real treat

Cafe Catalina is the absolute girls catch up Cafe for us 40 + lovelies. Food was of very high quality and gifts you with variety to explore your palate. View,ambience and service was wonderful. Good for the soul and your senses. 5 stars from me.

We (a family group of 4) had a very pleasant breakfast on Fathers Day. Despite it being a very busy day, the staff were relaxed & friendly but efficient at the same time. Our meals were delicious. This was our second time here and both visits have been very enjoyable.
