Bumbles Cafe

Bumbles is a wonderful haven in the busy Gold Coast. The waterside location and shady trees and parklands are a delight we look forward to enjoying for many years to come.
Service was very pleasant and the food offerings were creative but thoughtfully orchestrated and beautifully crafted.

The food was okay. The service was very disjointed. My sister ordered a cheesecake to have with her coffee and after going in and reminding the staff it still did not come so was taken off our bill. Also my neice ordered a soy iced coffee and wss given dairy ive creamin it so had to be remade. Otherwise it was alright not the best birthday lunch i have had.

Always a great venue. We had 2 extras turn up and the staff was great in organising a table. My Grainy toast was burned and hard which was sad :( and only one butter for two bread slices.

Great place. Super service- always friendly, very service minded and overalt great! Great Food that never dissapoints either!

Not our best experience at Bumbles.

Although I booked online and requested outside seating (so we could bring our pup) we had a seat reserved inside. We were left for the four of us to sit wherever we could during a busy weekend lunchtime. No attempt was made by staff to help or rectify the error (in fact I was told I hadn't requested outdoor seating - although it was clearly on my confirmation email). We ended up along a bench seat which wasn't great for being able to talk and catch up (which was kind of the point). Even acknowledgement that you'd got it wrong and a simple "I'm sorry' would have been appreciated.

The food was great once we got it. Service was slow and out of sync though- two of us had finished our meals before the other two had arrived.

Not your finest moment Bumbles - but we'll give you another chance as it is usually a great experience.

You can sit outside and enjoy the view of the river, or like we did today, sat in one of the eclectic private rooms. Service was very good.

Amazing location and best breakfast on the gold coast

Did not know if it was table service so ended up ordering at the kiosk n then 10 mins later someone came to our table to assist and am still waiting on the water we asked for. My avocado feta was lovely how ever the savioury mince was bland, staff rushing rather than taking notice of the customers!!

Firstly we booked a inside table online and it was confirmed when we arrived they didn’t have the booking and sat us on the high table outside in the cold I had to get a jacket out of the car. We were sitting waiting to be served then they sat another family at the other end of our table we were still waiting then they sit another family at out table one lady was within 20 cm of me...I thought we were under covid restrictions that is social distancing my mistake was never asked to checkin although I did. Igot up from the table to make our order after waiting for sometime to be finally met by our waitress who took our order. Our coffees arrived Luke warm but we drank them and waited and waited for our breakfast when it arrived mine again lukewarm hubby’s cold was sent back .they did replace it with a hot one. Before out breakfast arrived the people next to us was offered a table inside they had not booked at all that morning..hold on I did book for inside but we were never offered the table. Ohh well after this experience we won’t be coming back it was disgusting

We arrived with a booking at the correct time with a party of four. Bumbles was crowded.
Our order was not taken for 45 minutes. We were told that the items on the menu we ordered were sold out. We ordered what we could from the menu. The food was delivered without cutlery or serviettes. We had to chase up a waitress to ask for these items. Our portion was so small we asked for another and were told there was a long delay. Although Bumbles was crowded and there was inadequate food for those present, new arrivals were still being accepted, adding to the congestion and noise.
We have eaten there many times but this will be the last.

Food quality needs to improve. Was quite expensive and the meal was below average. Staff were wonderful and accommodating and I loved the quirky and unique premises.

Food was awesome however service was very poor! When we got there as the waitress was finding our order another waitress came out of the kitchen and barked "are you coming in or out?" They couldnt find our reservation - despite my sister already being seated. It took half an hour to take our coffee order and another half an hour for the coffee to come out. Our reservation was for 9am and we didnt get our breakfast until 10.40am. Really unorganised, yes they were busy but no one seemed to know what they were doing and having staff be rude to you the minute you walk in the door leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Lovely atmosphere with beautiful decor however breakfast portions were very small and we do not feel represented value for money. Coffee and cake however were delicious and generous sizes.

I can not use enough superlatives to describe the wonderful anniversary lunch we had at Bumble. The staff are next level in their attentiveness and charm. I have been dreaming about the prawn sandwich I devoured since our lunch - absolutely devine! I honestly can not recommend this cafe enough. It should be on every Gold Coast tourism brochure as a must do! A rare find, thank you for a great lunch time experience!

We booked a table for a girls catch up this week . We loved our a/c dining inside experience! Staff were fantastic and happy and nothing was too much trouble ! Thanks Bumbles Cafe 👍

Would definitely recommend going to Bumbles we had the most delicious High Tea the service was fabulous, the food was so fresh and tasty.

No where near previous standard. Was considered to be an upmarket cafe, but now others are clearly better.

A lovely cafe across the road from Budds Beach, great decor, excellent service and an absolutely delicious selection of cakes, some of which are even gluten free. Coffee is pretty good too

Staff were helpful in allowing us to change tables as it was a windy day. Overall the food was tasty however two of our meals came with fries which weren’t hot. I find this disappointing when I try the first one and it’s not hot. An instant let down to start my meal.
I’ve been a few times and I have always had a pleasant experience.

My sister and I were a bit disappointed that what we had read about the menu on the website was not accurate and that there was a time limit on the breakfast menu
