The service was excellent but the place needs pest control. We found cockroaches on the plates when they were delivering the food and Rats we’re running around

Our experience at Buca di Beppo it was great. Ana was our waitress she make she was awesome. She make my mother in law the best night for her birthday. She recommended a very good food for us and the dessert it was delicious. She was very pending if we need something if we the food was good etc. I highly recommend Buca di Beppo.

Went in for a meal by myself and enjoyed it very much. The manager was attentive as well as my server. It was early so no one else was there. Food came out fast and as always, delicious.

Buca has a rich history. They have a brand and they failed to deliver a dining experience. The staff needs better training. The place was to empty to be having so many mistakes in service.

I came with a party of 6 and put notes for the birthdays. The staff at the door did not great anyone .

After we were given a rush tour we were taken to our seats were I found 4 dirty spoons caked in gunk on the table.

After I brought it to the server she hid the spoons and brought us new silver wear . She didnt say anything to her manager.

Buca di Beppo was nice for a quiet dinner with my family. The prices have increased significantly for the menu items to our shock. However, the server Nick was great. He was knowledgeable about the menu and even suggested a special with the Shrimp Scampi. We enjoyed the Lg. portion of Shrimp Florentine. Also, Try the cheesecake it is so delicious! We were celebrating a birthday and it was really nice that the staff came out to sing and we my little son started crying looking at the flame of the candelabra the manager was great in helping to calm my son down and he brought out FRESH baked soft chocolate chip cookie, which was totally unexpected but very much appreciated for going above and beyond the call of duty to calm a child. The only thing I would HIGHLY suggest that the restaurant get a carpet replacement My shoes kept sticking to the floor over and over again due to whatever wear and tear and grease in the carpet. Thank You

the food was great but the place was full of busloads of noisy high schoolers. very annoying.
several minutes after ordering lasagna, the waitress comes to tell us they were out of lasagna. come on. a place that size had to have known that they were out of lasagna when we ordered. it delayed our meal. no offer of free dessert or money off.

Meh. It's about what you should expect for a chain restaurant. We went with some coupons they sent us in the mail. Otherwise, I'd look for better Italian options in the city.

Very good food. Pasta was great. Warm, cozy decor. Very hospitable and friendly waitress. With 2 of us having to order food for 3 it was a bit pricier than it should have been.

This time our experience was not the best. I don’t think the waitress was having the best day. She did not ask us if we wanted bread and in general was not very nice. The food was good and the place was nice.

Usually it’s good. And we started off okay, the appetizers were delicious but then half an hour after ordering they said they were out of what we ordered for dinner. Then it still took another half hour for the rest of our food and we ended up taking it to go. Eh. Maybe this is what they are like on Xmas.

Hello Our waitress was Tia and she was very attentive and knowledgeable. She even made sure my young son had crayons and paper to color while we waited for our food. The restaurant was trying to get out catering orders so the front was left unattended when we first came in we had to look for someone to help us. The food was a good portion for the value.

The waitress was very nice but the service was not good at all. They also require you to buy more food then you need and you have to order the same thing as the person(s) you’re eating with because it comes in servings for 3 or more people. Not worth the money. It’s definitely precooked as well

Every year for Friendsgiving we eat at Buca do Beppo. The meal is a great value and everyone always enjoys the quality of the food. Great place for large groups.

We had a last minute large party of 20. They were Incredible. The service was excellent the food was fast and the atmosphere was great. We had kids of all ages and the kids has a great time. I highly recommend them.

This was my third Thanksgiving at a Buca di Peppo. I was a little disappointed. The Thanksgiving options had been reduced to just turkey for 3 or 6 rather than the option or order a individual order of either turkey or ham. Ham was no longer available.

The food was a little salty and the green beans were definitely undercooked. Mashed potatoes, dressing and bread were good. And we had to ask for our pumpkin pie rather than it being brought to the table as soon as we had finished our dinners.

Close, but I wouldn't recommend the Thanksgiving offerings. And as for my next Thanksgiving....

This was a good restaurant for a family group. The food was good and the space welcoming. If I want again with a family group, I would ask for a round table so we could see each other. I also would explore the menu first. We didn't realize there was a family meal option and weren't prepared to order that way. I was especially happy that there was something for everyone to enjoy and easy for the youngest members of our group. The restaurant was not too expensive either which helps with a large family group.

We traveled from Colorado to DC. I wanted to take my wife for her first Buca experience. The service was atrocious; with one exception, Nick, the bartender. Everyone else was either inexperienced or disinterested in providing service. The food was cold. And there was nobody to tell about it. The noise level was high because of a lot of kids parties. That’s fine. But we had reservations and still had to wait because the hostesses were too busy in the back to do their jobs.

Excellent dining experience. We were a group of 10 and were promptly seated. Waiter was prompt and very helpful with ordering. Food was generous portions and reasonable. Everyone enjoyed the food and experience. A++

Food was pretty good; we like the family style. Service was very slow because there was a very big party.

It took us three hours to eat and not just because we were a large party or slow eaters. We had to remind our waiter several times to bring out drinks we had ordered and waited over 30 minutes just for drinks alone. They forgot one of our group salads altogether and it took over and hour to bring out the food. For a restaurant that caters to family style dining, I was incredibly disappointed...especially since I have eaten at other locations around the country and never had terrible service. The food was mediocre and definitely not worth the wait and there were so many large parties crammed into a tight space that the atmosphere was not great. Sadly, I have great experiences at other locations, but I would not recommend eating at this one. They are obviously not able to handle the large amount of people they receive and could care less about customer service. One of the worst dining experiences I have had in DC.

The building is a lot of fun with all of the pictures on the walls, but the service was horrible and the food marginal. The waiter couldn't remember who ordered what and was asking us and the tables round us who ordered the dish he was carrying. My work associate received his meal at least 10 minutes before I received mine. Their menu was limited. It may work out better for a larger group as many of their more appealing meals were served family style, for 3 or more. I personally would not return.

It was fun dinning experience....... The food tasted just like mom made it.

Our server, Ginet(SP ?) was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and attentive. She made our visit delightful. I have dietary restrictions and she made it happen and all with a friendly smile and attentive attitude. Loved the food, ambiance, service and food. One thing I would suggest, years ago you had wonderful sour dough bread. Please try to get better bread. I am used to NYC Italian bread.

Made a reservation for my birthday and requested the table in the kitchen. It was ready for us and had a birthday hat and decorations. Thanks for a memorable birthday!

Dinner is usually outstanding. Lunch on the other hand is very disappointing.

Nothing high end except a good, tasty and pleasant venue.

This restaurant is best for groups, as their dinner and dessert menu is portioned for sharing. Solo diners are only able to order off the lunch menu, which has a limited selection of entrees. The food is only okay. I had chicken limone, which is a chicken breast served in a lemony sauce and capers and served with a side of either fettuccine or marinara pasta. The plate was exactly as described, but I suspect the sauce is premade. It’s not bad but it’s not great.

Too much food but good. Enjoyed the dinner. Will go back but with s group this time.
