    Innovative menu, carefully prepared with what are the freshest possible ingredients, and portions that are a bit overwhelming in their generosity. EVERYTHING was outstanding, from the efficient person who seated us to the server and even others who stopped by the table to top-off our water glasses or to simply inquire if everything was to our liking. Absolutely! We were there on a late Saturday morning, and an astounding bass player and brilliant guitar player entertained the diners with marvelous music that pleased all tastes. This is a "go-to" place! We dine out often (nearly all the time), and when we discover a "real find," we are especially grateful. And we are most grateful for having brunch at the Brigade!

    Cocktails were well made and tasty. We enjoyed the charcuterie and the menu items we selected. Server was extremely attentive. Don't skip the bacon add-on for the burger! Great ambiance and location. We would highly recommend Brigade if you are in the area.

    First time here. Great ambiance. Food and service was fair. The $3.00 happy hour martini was disappointing, as was the bartenders choice of an Old Fashion. My wife had the 1/2 chicken which she enjoyed. I had the Linguine and it was just fair. I’ll try eating here again with different drink and meal choices.

    Brigade has a lovely second-floor location. We dined early, and it was quiet and our server was very attentive, but I imagine it gets louder as the evening progresses. The food was excellent, including the beef and bison dishes we selected. We’d definitely go again.

    Our first of five times there, the steak was the best and we very much enjoyed it and wrote a review commending it. Since then, the quality of the food has diminished significantly resulting in our visit last night as the last time we'll eat there. The potatoes under the steak and well as the steak were cold, to the touch. Our server informed us that the potatoes were meant to be more of a salad (cold, under a steak?). In any case, I've confirmed now that it is not worth eating there. We were also told that many other customers had voiced the same concern. I don't typically take the time to write negative reviews but last night's dinner of 160.00 was just a disaster and if I were to do it again I would have spoken with the manager.

    The food at Brigade was excellent. The service was awful. We waited over an hour from the time that we ordered our dinners until receiving them. The server was visibly avoiding us. We ordered an $88 bottle of wine and had to wait because they were out of wine glasses (?) and they seemed surprised that they were so busy they stated to us that they didn't realize it was move-in weekend for the University. We had a reservation and were seated at an awful table right next to the wine cabinet (where they had to squeeze in to get wine bottles when they were ordered) and the kitchen. They clearly were not prepared for the level of clientele that they had. They did give us a 20% discount on our meal but, it was just on the bill -- it wasn't discussed with us -- no one stated that they were sorry about the wait -- typically I would expect a Manager to come out to the table and say something to the effect that they are sorry about the wait time and poor service, they were busier than expected, etc but, that didn't occur. As previously stated we were pretty much ignored. The steak was delicious but, definitely not worth the poor service. Good steak can be found at other restaurants with better service. I would avoid this one.

    The salads were great. We also enjoyed the sparerib appetizer. The steak frites was sub par. Nice wine list.
