Brick Walk Tavern
Great restaurant! Can’t wait to return!
Party of 4 pre show at FTC
The food was very good! I made the arrangements and was meeting "new" cousins that I connected with through my genealogy research. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and thought the Brick Walk Tavern was definitely the place to visit again.
Birthday dinner. Was very busy -
Our experience overall was ok. Our food took a really long time and was ok. For how high the ratings were I was a little disappointed. This was overall an ok meal with very slow service.
Amazing food and ambiance!
I'm not sure about the other negative reviews but we had a great experience on a Saturday night. Good service, nice place and the food was excellent. Gumbo to start was great and we both had the pan fried chicken which was superb! Nice and crispy skin, moist inside with great masked and green beans too. We were down there on business but if it weren't 2 hours away, we'd be back more often. Highly recommended.
Great for lunch. Good service good quality food. Crispy spicy garlic shrimp is excellent
Having dined here numerous times before this last experience, we were so disappointed by the poor quality of the food and the thoroughly indifferent service. It seems like their success has gone to their heads. Too bad . . . hopefully, reviews like this will bring them back down to earth.
Great place for a brunch with friends! Had the corned beef hash and it was fabulous. Only wish was that they served iced coffee. A few friends and I wanted to order it but server told us they didn’t have any so that was a real bummer. Ambiance inside was really nice.
This was my first visit to the Brick Walk Tavern. I heard about the restaurant my daughter and was looking forward to having dinner there. I was pleased in every way. From a casual night out to a special occasion I would recommend it very highly
We loved our meals. We enjoyed the Brussels sprout/kale salad, short ribs, crab stuffed shrimp and a couple apps. Wine and beer selection was good. The Pinot Noir I drank was delicious and my husband found the craft beer he likes. We had excellent table service from Aaron and Armando who were our bus boys and food runners who stayed on top of us. We did the pre-fix for Valentine’s Day which was too much food but so delicious. Next time we will order off the menu.
One of our favorites. Great food and chill atmosphere. Consistently good.
Menu is mediocre. Food was okay. VERY noisy. Overpriced
Our waitress was amazing and the food was delicious
Grilled octopus was first rate (not easy to do perfectly). Use if truffle vinaigrette in the kale-Brussels spout salad was sublime. Great & friendly service.
Food is always wonderful. The service has always been great. One of our favorite dinner places. Try the chicken
The ambiance in the bar is great due to the fireplace in the center of the room! The food was great . The service was good but the server inexperienced! I will go back but the owner is going to have to step up his game if he wants to compete in Fairfield!
I’ve been to Brick Walk Tavern a few times now and each time it has been excellent. Drinks to starters to entrees, it has all been terrific. In fact, last night’s dinner was so good, I’m making a reservation right now for this Saturday night! Seriously!
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant!.
Never disappoints! Consistently excellent! Will be back!
Fun restaurant with casual friendly warm vibe. Nice fireplace with couch/seating area . Food was very good.. and came out quickly. Waiter was nice but could have been more attentive and professional. We werent in a rush so wasnt a big deal but after bringing our drinks never came back and we had to send someone to get him after around 45 minutes. Would definitely come back again . Food was very flavorful . We had Brussel sprouts, octopus, branzino and salmon. All very good
IN ALL CATEGORIES
SIMPLY THE BEST IN FAIRFIELD COUNTY
Food is casual but excellent quality and flavoring. Best jambalaya and hamburgers in Ct!
The food was good. The atmosphere was very nice. But the waiter service needs help. We waited a long time for drinks. At one point the waiter was taking the order of the next table and he said he was waiting on the bartender. I looked over and he was just standing & talking. Finally I walked to the bar and saw my cocktail just sitting there. On another round, I flagged the matre'd and he brought us our drinks over. Then on the third round, the bartender came over, took the order & served the drinks. .
I had never been to Brick Walk Tavern and was looking for something lively but not noisy and with good food. Brick Walk delivered on that and more. The food was exceptional. I would definitely go there with a date or meet a friend for drinks at the bar.
Cobb salad unusually good with slab bacon pieces. Husband’s Ruben was so good. Restaurant was quiet.
Waitress knowledgeable. Enjoyed it.
Christmas Eve, would prefer last seating at 6
Great food and service. Love eating in the bar area.
It was great as always. We really enjoyed the egg nog and the veal meatloaf. It's always a very nice experience to eat there. The cocktails by the fireplace when we first arrived were a really nice touch.
A fun menu that is well executed. A great addition to the stable of restaurants in Fairfield.
Great food and service
Great Jambalaya and garlic shrimp.
The food is good but still on the pricey side. Osso buco at 45$ LOL. It's a fancy name for stew!
Why is my martini always a dollar more than the frou frou cocktails
Well taken care of excellent service. Food was prepared perfectly.
Food was very good. A little disappointed the fried calamari was changed for season.
Food was exceptional, one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Favorites were the risotto appetizer, the burgers, and the meatloaf (especially the spaetzle that came with it). Service was good without being intrusive. The area in the back by the fireplace is very nice.
I went to dinner with a friend on a Thursday evening. I have been to Brick Walk Tavern numerous times for brunch, lunch, and dinner. It's one of the best restaurants in Fairfield and my top 5 in Fairfield County.
The food is always consistent, delicious, and of high quality.
For this review, I ordered off the pre-fixe menu. I had the fried green tomatoes, as my appetizer. They had a nice tang, were lightly fried and delicious. For the main entree, I ordered the braised short ribs (with a delicious gravy) which melted in your mouth and was accompanied by scrumptious mashed potatoes and seasonal root vegetables. My friend ordered the chicken meatballs for an appetizer. We shared the appetizers and the chicken meatballs were extraordinary and can compete with any beef/veal meatballs. For dessert we shared the tres leches coconut cake which was decadent and delicious.
Our server Dina, was sweet and made excellent wine and food recommendations. If you haven't dined at Brick Walk Tavern yet, what are you waiting for? Enjoy!
I had the Garlic shrimp and my wife had eggplant orrechiette. It was all wonderful.
