   The best way to describe Braven was hit & miss. My short rib was excellent, the garlic bun appetizer was excellent. The drinks were good. My wife's $75 7oz Tenderloin was average, but when it came with no side or plating except for a cheap quarter slice of onion on a blank plate that was terrible. Our waitress was pleasant & nice, the seating hostess was awkward as was the table bus lady. The menu printing should be updated, the printing is very small and hard to read in the dim light. In summary the price point on the beef dishes does not match the experience. We have been to a lot of great comparable restaurants in Edmonton. Would this rate this establishment as average when factoring in the price point of the experience.

   This was our second time at Braven. It is a beautiful restaurant. We went for Mother's Day today. The food took almost an hour to come out. The waffle was very dry, everything was barely warm. The service was sadly not great. She never apologized for how long it took. She was not very personable and seemed annoyed for no reason. We will be back because our first experience at dinner was great but it wasn't worth the money for breakfast.

   So we arrived at 5:10 because we had to leave at 6:40 for the oilers game , all the tables around us were full , we had a reservation. Our drinks and food came dead last , the waiter was being RUDE the entire service and dismissive when I asked 4 separate times about our food and drinks. Our food didn’t come until 6;35 , guaranteed he FORGOT to ring in our food as everyone around us had already LEFT we were the only table left sitting , and had no food. We come to Braven often and I did not deserve to be treated this way by an arrogant waiter with an attitude problem. I asked for the manager TWICE , he never came! This is definitely not a coincidence he was targeting me and my friend.

   For an experience that is described at luxury it came up short, made a reservation for 6 and was given two small tables pushed together. Food items on the menu were sold out at the beginning of the night. Drinks were okay for the price, service was okay. Atmosphere was good.

   One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Great appe’s, mains were on point and drinks were great. Server was kind and polite, very helpful with GF suggestions for my wife since she is a celiac. Definitely will revisit in the future. Thank you

   We were out on a date to celebrate a special birthday. Braven had been on "our list" for quite some time. We are extremely picky steak eaters, and thus tend to just have that as a meal at home. We ordered the Tomohawk done medium rare and were pleasantly surprised. If you love steak, but aren't one to make your own, I do say you should spoil yourself! We, however, will be likely continuing to make our own, just based on price alone. Dinner for the two of us, including two drinks each and tip, was $500, however we have plenty of leftovers for another meal. Not a splurge I would be quick to make again, BUT the experience is not regretted and the service was amazing! I am a sucker for good service, and Braven exceeded all expectations on that front.

   There was only one vegetarian choice and it was quite mediocre. Need more choices.
