Other seafood places along this stretch of King Street were booked up but Brabo was not, and now I know why. The food and the service were ordinary and the ambiance was cafeteria-like, despite prices indicated something more special.

Beautiful day for outdoor brunch. Interesting cocktail and tasty egg Benedict and Belgian waffles.

Brabo was a very pleasant way to start our long weekend in Old Town Alexandria. Emmanuel provided great service and wonderful recommendations - and unique drinks.

Easter brunch was delicious. French onion soup was very good. The quiche and salad were delicious. The salad dressing tasted so good. And the quiche was flaky and tasty. We also had a side of bacon that was huge

Our first time here and we were very pleased. The gentleman at the bar greeted us and escorted us to the lovely hotel living room until our table was ready. Our food at brunch was delicious. Onion soup and mushroom spinach and cheese omelette. The soup was lukewarm and had to be sent back. Our food came before the soup was heated but it was so tasty we didn’t mind.
While we tipped appreciatively, our server was not the best. He tried but could use a few more training pointers. We will definitely return.

Not as good as pre-covid, maybe a different Chef. Service was very disappointing, asked for speciality drinks which always been unique and delicious but the server said " NO!" Only available for dinner.

From the service to the food. We’ve always been impressed! It was our first brunch as a married couple and they gave us a complimentary drink and bread basket. We didn’t expect anything, but that was sweet of them. Definitely recommend them as a must go in the DMV area.

Very good food. We just went back for a second time. The octopus appetizer is delicious. So was the burger. Had the steak frites the first time, also very good and very good fries. Will part part of our rotation. Tables very well spaced apart. Felt Covid comfortable.

We dined at Brabo for Valentine’s Day. The food was delicious, especially the rack of lamb, striploin, and gnocchi! FANTASTIC service! Anyone looking for a special night, give them a visit!

Bravo was really nice and quaint. Great service! The food was great as well and the 4 courses fill you up throughout the experience. We hoped the portions were just a little but larger.

Excellent cocktails and bartender, who was also our server. It’s Covid, so they have plenty of room to spacing. Delicious dinner and I look forward to going back again.

We enjoyed our birthday dinner very much! The food was excellent, as was the service.
The added plus was that we didn't have to leave the hotel. The weather was cold and icy, so it was a pleasure to have a wonderful restaurant in-house. We liked it so much we went back for brunch the next morning!!

It was our anniversary and they asked us what we were there for and brought us complimentary champagne to celebrate. The drinks were delicious, the food was amazing and we will come back!

Horrible experience on my wife's birthday. In my reservation notes all I requested was "good seating and excellent service" we got nether. Didn't ask for anything special, but that little chocolate "happy birthday" was free. Not the whole desert, just the little sign.

The food at Brabo was amazing, made to Perfection. The chef was on point with our dinner the best steaks we have ever tasted, so tender and juicy. The amount of food you get is well worth the money. Don’t forget to order dessert they were on point with that too. We would definitely recommend Brabo to friends.

Once again, a great dining experience here despite all of the C-19 precautions. Food was 😋 yummy & everything was just so wonderful. This place is always GREAT!!

It just didn't do it for us, and what a shame. We were looking forward to a lovely dining experience that had been highly recommended but 1) we were seated at a table overlooking the bar and in direct line with the front door so that every time it opened, we felt a bitter cold draft come over us; 2) the waitress spilled my fiance's mussels all over the table and despite the luck that it missed our clothes, the missing contents of this plate were never replenished with the mussels that were lost in the spill; 3) my salmon came lukewarm and had to go back to the kitchen; 4) my fork was dirty. With all that, we didn't complain because we wanted a nice night out but were surprised that we were not even offered a complimentary glass of wine or coffee when the waitress had to replace them during the spill or some type of compensation. Overall, I must say that the food was tasty and well presented. By the way, if you do go, ask the back room, which appears to have ambiance and no drafts.

A Restaurant Week visit--- the fixed price three course meal was delicious! The food was well prepared and presented a nice mix of selections, giving a great representation of Brabo's menu. Thanks, we enjoyed it!

Very beautiful ambience with wonderful energy surrounding every space of the restaurant. The lighting was perfect and made for a enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and the service was superb. Will be returning and highly recommend.

Four of us had one of the most enjoyable evenings I can remember. No one had any criticisms of the food at all, and the service was fine. A superb restaurant on Alexandria's famous King Street. So glad the disaster of the pandemic has not killed it off!

Overpriced, under serviced, food was good but reduction for price point.

By now you know I am a huge fan of Brabo. Great space, extremely attentive to social distancing, staff—the hostess and Manny this time—are phenomenal.

The chef deserves all the awards that can be bestowed. Beet salad was light and fresh. The short rib was excellent—and I appreciated that they were donating a part of the proceeds to charity.

Just a really pleasant experience.

Went to Brabo for brunch the day after Christmas. The food was fantastic - loved everything we got, including the Breakfast of Champions cocktail! They did a great job spreading out the tables and guests. We had an entire room to ourselves. Felt very safe!!!
