Set in the 'Garden Village' at Tankardstown, Brabazon Restaurant has become a true destination for diners and lives long in the memory of all who visit.
Head Chef János Sárközi and his team offer a culinary experience based on seasonality and local produce; some of which is derived from the estates own kitchen garden and polytunnels.
A la carte and Tasting menu for lunch can be enjoyed Friday and Saturday from 1pm to 3pm, and for dinner Thursday to Sunday. Afternoon Tea is also served Thursday from 1pm to 3pm.
Guests can dine on the terrace in Summer when the weather permitted, in the intimate surrounds, beside the open fire during the winter months or in the new Morris Suite.
With recent accolades including 2AA Rosettes and RAI’s Best Hotel Restaurant in Meath and Best Chef in Meath, Brabazon Restaurant offers diners a feast for the eyes and the palate.

Enjoy this on Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm, served in the beautiful surrounds of the Morris Suite at Brabazon Restaurant. Our traditional Afternoon Tea stand features a delightful assortment of scrumptious sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and an array of irresistible bakes and cakes. Served with a selection of freshly brewed teas, both classic and exotic, to satisfy your palate. For a truly special occasion, we recommend adding a glass of refreshing Prosecco or Deutz Champagne. Please be aware the minimum advance reservation time for Afternoon Tea is 24h and the menu is not suitable for vegan, diabetic or coeliac.

Sunday lunch was beautiful. Nice menu and it was very reasonably priced . The renovated restaurant is bright and open and looks stunning. My only issue was that it was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant and we didn't have coats with us to put on to stay warm, other than feeling cold it was a beautiful meal and we look forward to returning.

Not recommended for vegans, nothing on the menu. If requested well in advance they will provide vegan food

Impressive that you can leave your coat at reception, the continental way ;-) No need to put up with your wet coat at the table…

We were disappointed with the main meal- very small helpings. Two of the party choose beef and both were disappointed. The starter and the desert were very good.

We had a lovely lunch , we we the only people in the restaurant, everything was first class. It was a pity not to see the restaurant more busy.

Beautiful meal with impeccable service. Very nice restaurant area but it was quiet so lacked a little bit of atmosphere. Food quality and choice was brilliant. Restaurant manager served us and was fantastic.

A very disappointing experience! We were a party of 3 arriving for a birthday celebration with Sunday lunch. When we arrived, we were met by a female member of staff who seemed flustered looking for our booking. We were then seated - to a free standing table in the middle of the restaurant - very disappointed with this. When our order was taken, the senior waiter insisted that we not only order starters and main course together, but also order desert at this time as “they might all be gone”. We felt this was unnecessary pressure for what should have been a relaxing experience! To make matters worse, when the main courses were served, my wife was given a child’s portion on a different plate. It was only 5 mins later when the senior waiter observed this. She was then given a 2nd child’s portion to complete the disaster. So with this so unpleasant and unprofessional experience, we certainly won’t be returning to the restaurant nor will we be recommending it to any of our family or friends.

Amazing experience. We have always loved Tankerstown. My daughter got married there last year but today I brought two Canadian family members and we were blown away by the service as they were both vegans. The food was amazing and as we had three small children with us the staff was lovely to them. We enjoyed every second of our experience. Keep up the great work and see you again soon
