Boqueria was the perfect destination outside of the office. A co-worker and I were celebrating the births of our girls born one year ago. The food was great - the small plates duo for $29/each was just right. We each ordered to our liking. Our server was great and he even got me to try the Shishito peppers that I just knew were HOT. Well, they were not hot, but lightly salted and sauteed and enjoyable! I save this place for special occasions and will surely be back. Thank you Boqueria for a lovely afternoon and lunch.
Great neighborhood dining experience.
Service was slow even though the restaurant wasn't packed. 3 dishes for 3 people out of 8 were extremely last and they came when the rest was almost done. Dessert (part of the course menu) came out really late and to get the check took so long.
Incredible food, and the bottomless brunch is an excellent deal! The food and drinks remind me of Spain.
The food and service were exceptional!
Great! Seafood paella was good. Medium size good for 2-3 people. Croquettes was our appetizer - so good!
Food is incredible with awesome drinks. Great value for $42 if you do bottomless brunch.
Gustavo was the absolute best! I had been to Boqueria before but he took the time to explain every dish in detail and was very conscience of my allergy. And kept the mimosas coming!
Upon arriving to the restaurant you could tell it was a very popular place. There seemed to be a long wait for a table-but were greeted promptly by the hostess. We were quickly seated at our table, it was in the middle of a room, pretty large table for only two of us. So we asked our hostess if we could give up our table for seats at the bar instead. We didn't need all the room, so we sat at the bar. We ordered the octopus, the cured ham, meatballs, corn, and two cocktails. The food came out quickly and the drinks as well. We really enjoyed our tapas, everything tasted so well done. Loved watching the team work and prepare the food from the bar. Would return!
Reservation for two at 6:45 on a Wednesday night - busy! We had great service, attentive. Food and drinks were brought out promptly. Would recommend!
Great evening. Good food, great service. Enjoyed the evening immensly. In DC from Dallas every year in October. This place will see us again!!
It's a vibe for bottomless brunch. The food was good but nothing memorable.
Great service and great food!
Great food, drinks and customer service. I’d definitely recommend this spot for great dining experience.
Great brunch and mimosas, just delish.
Great tapas and very friendly staff. Went for a birthday and the server made sure it was a special evening. Loved the calamari, pimientos de padron, and especially the churros con chocolate!
The dishes were served up quickly, despite every table being occupied on a busy Friday night. We ordered several rounds and never felt rushed to finish. We ended up having a wonderful two and half-hour meal!
Everything we ate was excellent— the churros are a must have! Close seating, but fun ambience and great service. Would definitely want to go back again!
Fabulous food and service. We will be back 😀
Excellent food—fresh and flavorful. Four tapas total was plenty for friend & me. Sat outside on a warm evening. It was full, busy. Good service. Hope to go again
Service was slow. We ordered way too much food at the recommendation of the server. Food was just okay.
Great food and a casual weeeknight place. Not too busy
Great food and not too loud. Unique wine list. Appealing decor. Will definitely return.
Extraordinario en todos los sentidos, gran ambiente, servicio amable y comida española a gran nivel. Cenamos un día, y repetimos para comer el día siguiente. Genial.
Great service but the amount of food is small and didn’t really blow us away. My husband and I had spent a lot of time in Spain and we were going for nostalgia but didn’t really get that here.
I just love boqueria idk what to tell u
I loved all the brunch food that I tried. I deduct one star because the crochets (my favorite dish) was excluded from the bottomless brunch menu.
The food was spectacular. Love the outdoor seating
It was way too crowded and noisy for us. We couldn’t hear each other talk.
Our server made the evening. Professional and attentive but not over-bearing or over enthusiastic. Knowledgeable of menu and appropriately refilled our glasses and paid attention to other details.
Ambience was very good for a date but just a bit loud.
Server made us feel special.
We were properly greeted. Restaurant was clean and restrooms as well.
Great place for date or out with friends.
We will be back.
Perfect spot to meet with friends from Chile who were in DC. Our waiter was terrific and spoke Spanish which was a win, of course. Food, lovely as always.
Food, service, location and environment was too notch!
Only negative- it was HOT HOT HOT. Easily 80 degrees without AC. We walked out with our jeans/dresses wet from sweat.
We loved Boqueria so much in NYC that we had to stop by when we were in DC for the weekend. It was just as good as we remembered! The patatas bravas, roasted chicken, and churros were our favorites. Can’t wait to return!
Great meal and experience! Would definitely go back!
Dates wrapped in bacon & a glass of red wine - perfection!
everything was good at brunch; food, service, bottomless mimosas and it was all with good company. i’ve been to both locations in the city; they are both great but i like Penn Qtr a little better
Great food and service. Always love sitting at the bar.
The food and service is absolutely fantastic! It's very loud so not a place for a romantic type meal. Get the cheese board and then order like 14 things. Although I can't eat lamb, so many of my colleagues have said it's amazing. I got the squid this week and it was basically perfect.
Great food and drinks.
Went for bottomless brunch and had a blast! We basically ordered one of everything on the menu and were very pleased with everything that came out. Really enjoyed the steak and eggs, potatoes, and cauliflower. We didn't have a chance to try the dessert because we were so full from the entrée selections but we all ordered a wonderful coffee/vodka beverage that served as a dessert to end our brunch. Highly recommend this place for bottomless. The ambiance was great and our server even let us stay a little after the 2.5 hour mark.
