Excellent food, prompt service, always love coming here
The food and service were excellent as always. We had fried cauliflower, modern olives, and seafood paella, along with Chef Hani’s special sauce. My guest who is from the Bay Area and accustomed to fine dining raved about Bolero! He commented on how nice everything was including the quality of food, service, ambiance, vineyard views, and the spectacular resort. Bravo!
Such good food at surprisingly cheap price points in my opinion. Our server was fantastic as well.
Food was great service and management was very poor and under trained for for poor service
The first time I was there the service was wonderful.
My second visit there, the restaurant wasn't very busy. We were seated right away but it took about 10 minutes to order and more that 20 minutes to get our first tapa, another 10 to get the first main dish and 10 more minutes to finally receive the second main dish.
There were many flies both times I ate there.
My first visit, I ordered Bocadilla sandwich - the bread was really dry and not very appetizing. I thought is was because the restaurant was really busy and new to open so I let it slide.
My second visit, I ordered the roasted lamb chops - they were greasy and had a really heavy gravy on them. The cauliflower appetizer was great.
I would have complained but no one seemed to care.
The wine is wonderful but I will not try the restaurant again.
We had a great table outside overlooking the vineyard and enjoyed the meal. The flight of reds were tasty and went well with everything we ordered. The croquettes, Brussels sprouts and octopus are all worth going back for. We will pass on the skirt steak next time so we can venture into other areas. All the food at other tables looked great as well!
Bolero had a nice outdoor patio with misters. The food was great and the employees were very nice.
This reservation was for breakfast but we had eaten there the night before so this is a twofer. Breakfast had a great assortment of items so we got our own and one to share which was the stuffed pancakes. We tried the eggs benedict, avocado toast , biscuit and chorizo sausage gravy and steak and eggs, which was huge.Everything was perfect. Back to dinner. They closed early that night so we were concerned about a 8pm reservation but it really went well. They serve tapas style so it is great to order a few items and taste many items. Be aware the paella takes 45min to get there so if you want it, order right away. It comes in sizes for 2 or 4 people. I recommend to order the 2 person as it is more than enough after you have grazed on the other items for awhile, we finished it but definitely waddled out of there. We started off with a deep red sangria along with the fried cauliflower, so nice. Moved onto the wild mushroom carpaccio which was a very light and fresh. patatas bravas next which the potatoes were the best I have had this way, there is another place that serves it with a better sauce but this was good. Next up, braised beef potato croquettes, nicely done but could have had a bit more of the beef. Then came the pan seared sea bass, so light like you were eating a cloud. We will be there next time in town.
The winery is beautiful. The ambiance on the patio is nice. The food and drinks are good. The mojito on the menu is delicious. We ordered a bunch of small plates- the chorizo sliders, the potato croquettes, and the caesar salad were our favorites! The seafood paella is good, but if we go back, we will stick with the tapas.
We would have given it 5 stars, but because of the service, we had to give it 4 stars. We were there for 2.5 hours, but we were finished eating in an hour and a half. The last hour was us trying to find our server, then trying to get the birthday dessert that they offered us when we arrived, and then trying to pay the bill. Disappointing ending, but we still had a nice night out with our family.
friendly staff; excellent food and service; the atmosphere had a nice romantic vibe
Great location, nice ambiance, server very friendly, food was very good.
Too many flies hovering over our food while dining in their patio.
We brought it to server’s attention. The restaurant didn’t seem prepared or give these pests a thought. It was embarrassing for the guests I had invited to join me for breakfast.
Hats off to the chefs. There was a good variety of tapas. Although, it would have been nice to have a charcuterie board as a selection without having to create your own. Nonetheless, the flavors were all on point. And last but not least, we had the perfect server, Joseph.
Everything was good the downside was the wait for food... seriously paella 40 minutes.
Dining at Bolero was a wonderful experience all around. Everything we enjoyed exceeded our expectations from the signature margaritas to the crispy eggplant, croquettes, brussel sprouts and paella! I’ll be dreaming about this meal for years to come and will definitely be back to enjoy many other dishes that we didn’t have the chance to enjoy like the caesar salad, sea bass and churros! Expect an experience when you dine here - the food is to be enjoyed slowly and in good company. You will never feel rushed, like they are waiting for your table, which I really appreciated. Overall 10 of 10. Bon Appetite!
The service and ambiance were enjoyable, but the food was quite simply bad. We ordered potato croquettes, ceviche, fried cauliflower, a beer taster flight, sangria, the chocolate torta, and espressso. The ceviche, the beer, and the torta were awful. Two of the beers have a synthetic / chemical aftertaste, the ceviche included massive chunks of fish and squid that were not well-marinated, and the torta included layers of mousse that were so poorly made that they were full of globs of chewy gelatin that ruined the texture of the dessert. The other items were not memorable, and we would unfortunately not visit this restaurant again.
Awesome from start to finish! The food was so good, and our wait staff were friendly and attentive! They offered great recommendations on food, dessert, and wine! Definitely must plan a return visit soon!!! Love, love, loved!
Here for honeymoon! We love tapas! Unfortunately, we were so hungry we didn’t take pics; however, we sampled many things on the menu. Look them up on Yelp to get a better idea of types of dishes and portion size. They’re both a winery and brewery and each were amazing t
Food was great, except for the seafood paella that was too salty, but it wasn’t so bad. Our server, Leslie, went above and beyond. She made sure we got everything and that we were okay the entire dine in. We are Europa Wine Club members and will definitely be going back by next month! We might try the other paella. We’ll definitely get the jamon platter again!! Soo sooo good!!! Overall experience was excellent!! Thank you, Bolero!
I would recommend this to everybody! It’s amazing! Flavors smack you left and right
We split a few small plates and they food was excellent.
We could not get our waitress to pay attention to our table- long waits for everything, ordering, drinks, paying bill. And the seafood was honestly overhyped
Great food and great service.
The best restaurant! Fairly priced at a very high quality service, view and food. Soooo good!
Had seafood paella and appetizers. Great food and tried some of their red and white wines which also were very good. Service was excellent via Joseph.
Great food, good service and would definitely go back again.
I recently went to this restaurant after visiting some wineries with friends. All 5 of us were AMAZED at the food and service. Everything tasted amazing and of course the wine list was great. I am recommending this place to everyone going to wine tasting ! Also order the paella it was superb !
Amazing food and wine. Excellent service. Only americano wasn’t on the same level but expresso was good.
Over priced food. Terrible service. Food took over an hour and a half to get the table. Food arrived cold and had been sitting to long to eat. I felt rushed to eat when food arrived as the restaurant was closing at 9 am and I ordered food at 7:15 pm that arrived 8:45 pm. Definitely not
Worth the price. Not a resort style restaurant!
Very disappointed with the octopus and lamb loin The lamb loin had gristle in it .
They were not the same as what we had eaten in October. It seems the chef has changed
The matador sliders were dry and tough the bread was charred on one side. We did get a replacement of the regular slider as our server did not want to disappoint us
Will not go there again
Food was great. Service was okay. Nice place
Everything was fine but got too busy to bring dessert on time. We left. Otherwise outstanding.
10/10 highly recommend eating here in Temecula! Every single item we ordered was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The Caesar salad wraps, patatas bravas and tomato pan all outstanding. Wonderful service and very reasonably priced.
Loved the server, Jerry, and the food and wine. The cheese and meat board was overpriced, but very good overall experience. Recommend!
Food and ambiance was great. Made the mistake of ordering cocktails.
What an awesome place. Wine is amazing and the food is very good. We had the Sea Food Paella. Highly recommend it!
We had shared dishes between 3 of us, which worked really well. It was well worth the trip from OC, the service and food were excellent and the setting in the outside patio very nice. We'll certainly be back.
