Most of the food was good. Service was good but when needed help always took a while to get attention.
AMAZING food, it was all sooo good! Very active, not a place for a quiet private conversation! Superb meal and wine, would definitely recommend.
Date night with my husband. Really great server, manager and even a visit from the head chef
The restaurant patio was quiet yet festive. A lovely evening! The food was well prepared and the paella was delicious. I ordered a bottle of the bolero libido white wine that paired well with the meal. My husband ordered the sea bass and found it delicious. I will return soon. Also, we had the opportunity to meet Dany the executive chef. A knowledgeable and passionate chef, with a delightful sense of humor! Altogether I highly recommend this restaurant in Temecula.
I have a food allergy to garlic. Almost everything on the menu had garlic. The chef prepared our beautiful meal for us so zero garlic. The food was spectacular the ambiance was gorgeous. Our serve was kind and friendly and made our dinner extra special. I highly recommend!!!!
Everything was wonderful except the loud belligerent party across from us.
It took 45+ minutes to get our brunch order to complete. Food portion was neutral. Taste was ok, nothing special. Overall it was good but that wait time was really bad!
Beautiful place for dining and excellent paella! Service was wonderful too!
We came early and they asked us to sit at the bar to wait. We had a nice drink but then our reservation time came and went. 15 minutes later we checked in at the desk and they said our table was ready. They texted us but we were 8 feet away at the bar… But anyway, the seafood paella was cooked perfectly, and the wine selection was great. Service was a bit lagging. No real views from the outdoor patio.
Lovely, relaxing setting. Great burger
Outstanding Food and Outstanding Chef who creates brilliantly.
We dine out a lot. Their food is exceptional. Truly a level up from most good places. The Sea Bass was the best my wife has EVER had. Also highly recommend the octopus - extremely good!
Great dining experience at Bolero. Menu was varied and diverse, food was delicious, service was outstanding. It's on our list of new favorite restaurants!
We were so impressed! (Never been to the area before and do not know anyone around here) Such an amazing night — I wish my stomach was larger. Brittany our server and the whole team made us feel first class. Octopus salad, garlic shrimp, skirt steak and the fried cauliflower — plus wine pairings. I have to say I was blown away— and will definitely be back! Hope more people can enjoy it! I wish Brittany was my friend— so fun lol.
This restaurant is fabulous! From the exquisite wine selection to the decadent flavors that perfectly complimented each other, you will not want to miss this fan favorite of the Temecula wineries. I highly recommend this eatery as the staff is very knowledgeable of their menu to satisfy any craving you might have. Looking forward to our return!!
We went for dinner last night for the first time. The winery itself is beautiful, very different from the rest. The restaurant is a bit too sober / simple in it's decor, and the absolute lack of rugs, drapes or or tapestries makes it VERY loud. So if you want a quiet dinner, this is not for you, but the patio might be.
The food was very good, very tasty. Service was extremely slow, we were there for almost 2 hours. I am not blaming them considering there is short-staffing everywhere and training at the same time, just stating facts here. Kids had sliders and we had Paella. All delicious. We would definitely go back to try some other dishes.
My parents were celebrating their 31st wedding anniversary and our waitress knew it.
They were so excited to be dining there for their very first time
The table next to us had someone celebrating a birthday
She received a complimentary dessert and my parents didn’t get any recognition at all?!!
Just disappointed about that :(
Love this place! Perfect ending to a fun day of wine tasting in Temecula
Wonderful meal in a beautiful setting. Love being able to eat tapas style.
A great new find.
Great restaurant while staying in wine country. Beautiful winery and great food. Try the sangria!
We had a very nice experience. Food was excellent.
Was an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere was perfect, food was delicious, and service was great! Would recommend to all my friends.
It was our 2nd time at the restaurant. We ordered the same Jamon platter and it was of course, so delicious! I had lamb chops, medium rare: the inside was good and tasted delicious, melts in your mouth, but the outside was burned and tasted burned. :( My boyfriend had the grilled Bolero style skirt steak, rare: and again the inside was delicious but the outside was also burned and tasted burned. We were saddened by how our food were burned on the outside and tasted burned too. We are Europa’s wine club members and we’d surely come back and also would give the Bolero restaurant another try.
Bolero is a fantastic spot! Make sure you request server Jerry. She is so fun and gives excellent service!
Good and service pretty good but the flies! We were swatting flies through the entire meal. Nice wine list.
Best paella ever! Also the watermelon salad and Albariño were to die-for. Will definitely be back.
Great food and wine.
Wait staff were a bit unfamiliar with menu options. Wrong meal was delivered at first. Crispy eggplant entree was a very small portion. It would have helpful if menu description for this and the olive appetizer were more descriptive. Paella came out before lamb entree and paella was advertised as requiring 45 minutes.
Excellent food, prompt service, always love coming here
The food and service were excellent as always. We had fried cauliflower, modern olives, and seafood paella, along with Chef Hani’s special sauce. My guest who is from the Bay Area and accustomed to fine dining raved about Bolero! He commented on how nice everything was including the quality of food, service, ambiance, vineyard views, and the spectacular resort. Bravo!
Such good food at surprisingly cheap price points in my opinion. Our server was fantastic as well.
Food was great service and management was very poor and under trained for for poor service
The first time I was there the service was wonderful.
My second visit there, the restaurant wasn't very busy. We were seated right away but it took about 10 minutes to order and more that 20 minutes to get our first tapa, another 10 to get the first main dish and 10 more minutes to finally receive the second main dish.
There were many flies both times I ate there.
My first visit, I ordered Bocadilla sandwich - the bread was really dry and not very appetizing. I thought is was because the restaurant was really busy and new to open so I let it slide.
My second visit, I ordered the roasted lamb chops - they were greasy and had a really heavy gravy on them. The cauliflower appetizer was great.
I would have complained but no one seemed to care.
The wine is wonderful but I will not try the restaurant again.
We had a great table outside overlooking the vineyard and enjoyed the meal. The flight of reds were tasty and went well with everything we ordered. The croquettes, Brussels sprouts and octopus are all worth going back for. We will pass on the skirt steak next time so we can venture into other areas. All the food at other tables looked great as well!
Bolero had a nice outdoor patio with misters. The food was great and the employees were very nice.
This reservation was for breakfast but we had eaten there the night before so this is a twofer. Breakfast had a great assortment of items so we got our own and one to share which was the stuffed pancakes. We tried the eggs benedict, avocado toast , biscuit and chorizo sausage gravy and steak and eggs, which was huge.Everything was perfect. Back to dinner. They closed early that night so we were concerned about a 8pm reservation but it really went well. They serve tapas style so it is great to order a few items and taste many items. Be aware the paella takes 45min to get there so if you want it, order right away. It comes in sizes for 2 or 4 people. I recommend to order the 2 person as it is more than enough after you have grazed on the other items for awhile, we finished it but definitely waddled out of there. We started off with a deep red sangria along with the fried cauliflower, so nice. Moved onto the wild mushroom carpaccio which was a very light and fresh. patatas bravas next which the potatoes were the best I have had this way, there is another place that serves it with a better sauce but this was good. Next up, braised beef potato croquettes, nicely done but could have had a bit more of the beef. Then came the pan seared sea bass, so light like you were eating a cloud. We will be there next time in town.
The winery is beautiful. The ambiance on the patio is nice. The food and drinks are good. The mojito on the menu is delicious. We ordered a bunch of small plates- the chorizo sliders, the potato croquettes, and the caesar salad were our favorites! The seafood paella is good, but if we go back, we will stick with the tapas.
We would have given it 5 stars, but because of the service, we had to give it 4 stars. We were there for 2.5 hours, but we were finished eating in an hour and a half. The last hour was us trying to find our server, then trying to get the birthday dessert that they offered us when we arrived, and then trying to pay the bill. Disappointing ending, but we still had a nice night out with our family.
