The newest restaurant at Kingston Resorts showcases the best local fare in a comfortable setting. All 40 beers on tap come from the states of North and South Carolina and the entire menu is Carolina born and brewed. Share small plates and appetizers, try fresh seafood, and house-smoked meats while enjoying ocean views. Order a craft beer at the outdoor beer garden and play favorite yard games such as cornhole in the new event space.

Above the restaurant, find a new event space with high ceilings, exposed wood beams, and floor to ceiling retractable windows with ocean views and an upper balcony for outdoor weddings, receptions, and events overlooking the new pool.

Atmosphere was great, food was terrible. The BBQ was swimming in grease mostly fat and tasted awful. Baked beans were okay and fries were good. We also had pizza which was just okay kinda taste like something you would get at an amusement park. Service was extremely slow as they were probably short staffed.

Our idyllic location, with a direct ocean view, was carefully selected to bring maximum enjoyment to our local and resort guests alike. Delaney our server was so engaging! She made a lot of great food suggestions and my wife tried and loved the Honeysuckle pizza and my daughter loved the chicken thigh sandwich! She had very friendly and engaging personality which made for a very enjoyable evening! Haven’t had service this great in awhile! Would highly recommend the Black Drum and Delaney to our friends!

Reservation was easy to make and overall food was very good. Big drink selection and local beers were on point. Went on a Sunday evening and there was only 1 waiter working so service was alittle delayed. Friendly staff and overall good experience. Would recommend and return

Complimentary water as a basic was very bad, like water for floor cleaning, bad taste. Oysters were small and without oyster’s juice. Hostess girls looked dissatisfied, depressed. Food was good 4/5, we ordered oysters, wings, pretzel, two flights with 5 samplers each and cake on dessert, so one sampler from flights was awful, as a soap, but our waiter change it to another one we choose. All drinks were in plastic glasses and for food we got plastic plates. On the next day dinner our waiter spilled water on the table and on the menu and we spent the whole dinner with spilled water on the table, it's unpleasant. He confused us with wrong names of beers we ordered. Forgot give us a pen for signature a check. So generally 3/5.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Food was very good. Sat outside and weather was perfect. Live entertainment was ok. Restaurant is set in a resort so it was a bit busy as far as people movement but not overly crowded. Would go back again.

We are local and eaten here 5 times. Initially it seemed to have more of a vibrant atmosphere. The wait staff was much better than now. Nobody smiling. Even the hostess was like not excited to be there. And we had to wait for anyone to greet/seat us. Beautiful place. Food is ok but not outstanding. Salad dressing is homemade and good. Salmon on salad was very small for $12. Pizzas was large and tasty. It’s time to update the menu though. Pipe in some good music? Liven it up!
