They have a high top able to seat 10. Our server was very attentive. Drinks are good, a little overpriced in my opinion. We were there Father's Day 2024. The prime rib cut was generous and cooked to my liking, rare, however there was no flavor/seasoning other than the highly peppered outside. The other dishes, shrimp scampi, salmon and sandwiches were good. The pazookie's are to die for. Overall, we enjoy this restaurant and will be back again.

Our family and friends made an eight person reservation to dine at BJ’s in Boardman, OH. for Father’s Day. Upon our arrival we were immediately seated and treated with courtesy. Our waitress was excellent and everyone enjoyed their food. We ordered a couple appetizers to share and a variety of meals. Some of the favorites were jambalaya and grilled ahi salad. The only concern was there were NO people of color working as servers or hostesses. The staff should be diversified just as those patronizing the restaurant.

Unfortunately it was not a good experience. Made a reservation, still had to wait. Wasn’t an awful wait. Waitress very nice. Our appitizer went to table next to us. Told wait staff. They seemed confused. Had to wait for redo. 4 of the 5 meals came out incorrect. Could not redo our order as everything we initially ordered was then out. Steaks/ tri tip/ prime rib all came out cooked incorrectly. Manager that did come talk to us and apologized, unfortunately at that point nothing could really be fixed.

The waitress was brand new and knocked it out of the park. Nothing was wrong and she had a great attitude.

The menu here has changed to the point that those with dietary restrictions have few options. This wasn't always the case. When the Youngstown restaurant opened they had several menu items that worked for a variety of diners. I couldn't find most of them yesterday and ended up with a $15 salad comprised of lettuce, cabbage, mandarin oranges and wonton strips. Their previous menus had things that were far more tasty, substantial and well worth the price. Sadly, BJ's no longer is worth the money.

Staff was great, food juts ok. Avocado roll up appetizer used bad /overripe avocados. While I should have been wary of ordering then during winter in Ohio, I would also hope a restaurant wouldn’t offer a menu item if it didn’t have adequate ripe avocados. Otherwise it was cold and chilly and noisey inside. The salad I got was good though and the salmon cooked well , neither over or undercooked.

We were looking for a place to meet our son halfway, and BJs was recommended to us by a friend. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
