Bernardi's calificaciones y reseñas
Booked the restaurant as had seen the chef on TV and thought the food looked very good. The ambience is nice although the acoustics are such that you have to shout most of the evening, as hard to hear each other. It took over an hour between our starters and main course to be served, and we had to keep asking waiters what was going on. The staff are very polite and nice but it was like the head waiter had a night off and no one knew what was going on. That said, we had a nice evening and they gave us wine and money off the bill, but I think the service ( although very polite ) really needs to be a bit more ' on it' . Very nice food.
it was my husbands birthday and i wanted to take him someplace that would be special but able to accommodate my almost two year old sons picky eating. though not conventionally kid friendly, this certainly fit the bill. the staff was attentive and sweet with my son. the moment we sat down they brought over crayons and paper and put his off menu pizza order in. as for my husband and i, our dinner was delicious and everything was perfect for his birthday.
Beautiful restaurant decor, with incredibly comfortable seats. The staff were friendly and welcoming, service was good. The food was good, but it had the potential to be better. I was left a little disappointed, as I felt it was all underseasoned. The menu is fabulous, but the execution was slightly underwhelming.
Amazing cocktails and food. Highly recommend,However when we received the bill all drinks had been charged at full price when purchased during happy hour and service charge added before any discounts on food or happy hour drinks so was shocked at the bill! However this was amended when pointed out.
Very good Italian food and extremely attentive service. Stylish interior décor without being intrusive. Acoustics made conversation difficult on the ground floor. A bit on the expensive side for what it is, so really one for when you want to treat yourself.
Overall, it is a nice place. The service is a bit slow. We asked for recommendations and the waiter was a bit surprised as if it is not his business. Food is average, not bad but nothing spectacular either. They could push further the Italian positioning by offering truly authentic dishes and move away from standard salmon/lamb menu.
Fabulous food in a buzzy atmosphere. We had to wait a little longer for service than one would expect, but they were very apologetic (they noticed it, rather than us complaining) and gave us a free dessert to compensate. The food is of very high quality and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Lovely place. Only intended to go for dinner but had cocktails in the bar before and after because it was so nice.... emerged 5 hours later.
Catered well for gluten free. Staff were charming, helpful and efficient. Food was delicious (favourite dish was the squid antipasti... amazing sauce). Cocktails were great (Bambino and Fleur du Mal were my favourite). Really nice setting upstairs in the restaurant - high ceilings and a nice level of buzz whilst still being able to hear each other talk easily. Downstairs bar was really cosy too. On the pricey side so if you're planning to have cocktails worth getting there a bit earlier for happy hour to soften the blow to the wallet. Recommended.
I couldn't fault the food it was very good. There was a lot of waiting staff but service was erratic. It started off well but by the end of the lunch it had become chaotic. We had about 4 or 5 different serves throughout the meal. All staff were very friendly and polite.
The venue is great, the location is great and the food is very good, they just need to work on their service.
I had to ask for the bill three times which was frustrating.
This is really a great place to eat. The staff are both friendly & professional. The wine list is well thought out & there is a good selection of wines by the glass. A great idea is that some wines are served in a 50cl Carafe, enabling a couple to have both red & white wine.
Found it on the internet(Trip Advisor). Useful dive in increasingly middle-eastern area of London. Well executed, simple Italian dishes of the set lunch menu were good value and enjoyed by all of us. Prices of the wines, even the basic ones seemed to me, a country bumpkin, quite outrageously high, which, as it was a reunion, took the edge off the perceived value.
Dinner is very good here. Love the casual feel but unfortunately week day breakfast is a let down. Cold poached eggs, grey smashed avocado and weak coffee. My guest had the full breakfast with a watery mushroom and lacked the crispy bacon/cotto. We will back here for consistently good drinks and dinner but will miss the mornings .Service was good here. Friendly and authentic.
Fantastic food, and pasta even a NYC resident can love. My only complaint is the choice of music. It is too loud to make conversation easy. I think if they leave the louder volume to the downstairs bar, they could create a great dining area upstairs for those who want to gather in a more pleasant atmosphere.
I went there for dinner with a friend.
I thought I could choose last minute if to have a set menu (so I read on the open table page) but the restaurant kindly told me I should have notified them before.
Anyway the A la carte menu had a good and interesting variety of choices.
The taste of the Malagliati with veal ragù was amazing, so rich and not overwhelming at all.
The service was spotless and the female waitress was really professional and smiling.
Prices are not average but not even extremely expensive.
not much of an atmoshpere, in fact, we went with another couple and were asked to 'keep it down' (from a few laughs) at our starter and then decided to move downstairs to the snug, as we were being rused through our meal in order to get in their 'second sitting'....I wouldn't go back.
