Acerca de Barton G. The Restaurant - Miami Beach

Barton G. The Restaurant - Miami Beach calificaciones y reseñas
I've been to Barton G on several occasions over the years, but this was by far the worst experience I've had.
We had a party of 5, and they sat I'd at a table where we barely fit comfortably, much less the food.
We got to enjoy the presentations for only a brief moment, because they had to remove our food from the plates in order to fit it on our table so we could eat.
I would have ordered more drinks, but we couldn't fit them anywhere, so we made the best of it and moved on to another place where we could be comfortable and enjoy drinks.
There was an older male waiter that angrily cleared our plates and honestly appeared like he hated his job. Any time we asked him something, he either couldn't hear us, or got annoyed.
It was the worst 800.00 I've ever spent.
Looking for suggestions on a new fun experience.
The food WAS EXCELLENT THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT, my sister and I flew down there for vacation and Barton G was one of the must go to Restaurants to visit!!! Everything was wonderful!!!! The food the Lobster OMG even the steak... AND I DON'T EVEN EAT BEEF!!! YES I KNOW LOL. The staff. I can go on and on!!!
Thank you for the Experience!!!
Ummm... let's say it started a little shaky even with a reservation... perhaps not putting all the African Americans outside in the heat.. I'm not the only one who noticed.. but after SEVERAL conversations with the "hostess" was finally able to enjoy .. $536 later ummm.. nice experience '
I made a reservation for me and my two best friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. This was confirmed The day before when The restaurant called to confirm The reservation. This was our first time at this restaurant and we were excited to come and check it out. The hostess led us along with another person and a child (who was not in our party) to stairs and told us to walk upstairs. She did not lead us upstairs. After walking up the stairs blindly and waiting aimlessly, a waiter sat us down. Our waitress was very soft spoken and we could not hear her over the music and chatter. The food is very mediocre to be so overpriced. The service was very mediocre as well. I will not come back. We were not treated like we were there for a celebration.
Have been coming to this restaurant every year with my daughter and friends. Last couple of times their "specials" are only especially bad and severely over priced. They never mention the price of their specials when they describe them and this their steak special was mainly fat that was uneatable and cost $150. Two people ordered and both could not touch it. As a consolation price they "gave" one dessert and charged $300 for the steak. I can promise next year I will not be coming back.
Read recent reviews which were mostly negative, so I called ahead and spoke with the GM. He assured me though he would not be there, he would leave word of my concerns and promised a memorable evening.
He and his team did not disappoint. We arrived a few minutes ahead of our 6 p.m. reservation and had to open the wrought iron gate to let ourselves in. We were greeted by a manager who made it his duty to seat us.
Our server, Adam, proved a delight and from there it kept getting better. They describe their presentations as 'over the top' and yes they are as promised. From our drinks, appetizers, main course, to dessert...all OVER THE TOP in presentation along with the ambiance created.
It is my delight to recommend Barton G South Beach. When looking for a WOW factor, to impress, to leave with a memory not soon to be topped, yes, Barton G is your next destination
Reservation was at 1030. Didn't get seated until 1115 after I had told the waitress we would like to cancel. She wouldn't let me cancel and sat us right away. After we were told the special, which was $300, our food came out cold. Not worth the wait nor the money.
Terrible, very small, do not respect reservations. I reserved and they offered me a table in the garden, in the heat, as I did not accept, I waited 1:40, as I was with my daughter, I ordered food at the bar. TERRIBLE !!! Will never go back and I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I go where customers are respected.
Basic food. Atmosphere and staff were nice enough, however, you are paying for the presentation of the food and drink rather than the amount and quality of it. As soon as you have had your moment of fun, staff come and ask to take the display away... we had enough space for it to stay, leaving you with small portions of average tasting, basic food.
Cocktails very overpriced.
It's a novelty restaurant, I've been and probably won't go back.
To give an idea of cost, 2 women and 1 six year old girl - $345.00.
The little girl didn't even have an entree and we all shared one dessert.
My SO and I went to celebrate his birthday. We sat outside in the evening on a Saturday and it wasn't too bad in terms of heat/humidity. The service was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive. The way dishes and drinks are served is the focus of this restaurant so you may receive your cocktail on a platter with a guitar or with a huge boxing glove or your appetizer may include a popcorn machine or a skeleton with the "bucket of bones". We enjoyed the overall experience but do take note that this restaurant is on the pricey end.
First time at the restaurant. I made a reservation it was my daughters birthday she was turned 14. Everything went great from the moment we walked in till we left. Great place to create wonderful memories. I'll highly recommend it to anyone
Our server Corey was dashing and handsome. Really attentive, and knowledgeable. Even the peripheral staff was great. They were seamless at bringing the food and clearing the table. The food was great, very decadent and delicious. The entire venue was spotless, and exceptionally clean. I have, and I would definitely recommend this creative restaurant to everyone I know. As soon as I'm in the area again I will dine there!
The food was good, waitress was very slow and pushy on alcoholic beverages. Didn't heat the dessert right with the torch so the dessert was cold and not done correctly. Then when asked for it to be packed home, it seemed like someone just threw it in there very messy making it not even appetizing anymore so it was thrown away when we got home.
dress code is not respected.. this lowers the quality of the restaurant! if they encourage the dress code they should make it respect it, when I confirmed my reservation I was requested a jacket with tie optional, and when we got there... almost half the men where in t-shirt, sneakers, even shorts! and worst I saw a couple of guys with sandals! this is not an adequate dress code for a fine dinning restaurant.
After hearing about this place for years. I would have to say the whole experience was sub par. From the moment I walked in with the hostess to the bartender while I was waiting 30 min past my reservations. And food quality was not worth the money. They messed up temp on the steak twice and no manger approached the table the at any time with either problem. I normally never write reviews, but feel this is a necessary one. My waiter was great and and food looked amazing taste and quality just ok. . The drinks were pretty good as well. I would not recommend this place. There's many more places with a better attitude and attentiveness close by.
Arrived at 9:20 for 9:30 reservations, and we were seated at 10:50 p.m. Once we were seated we were asked to get up so that a bigger party could be seated at the table the hostess walked us to! It was a terrible experience. The manager was not so understanding of the inconvenience. The food was decent. But there was a bug in my cotton candy. Disgusting!
