Wonderful food and even better service! Really made our anniversary special, you just don’t find that kind of service everywhere in London!
Great in everything. We definitely will repeat the amazing experience.Great food, wine , staff and location.
The food is outstanding and it's such a great restaurant to take friends. It is great that you can share al of the food.
Really enjoyed the burrata tomato tarte and the seabass civiche, love the table setting at the back of the restaurant and the bar tables are cool too, great addition to Chelsea/Fulham
Everything was very good except that the knife offered was too blunt for the bread. I asked the waiter to change for a shaper knife twice as I couldn't cut through the bread. It was quite frustrating as your food was in front of you but you didn't have the proper cutlery to eat it.
Good atmosphere and service. Good vegan options.
The restaurant was really lovely and to begin with the service was excellent. However a big party came into the restaurant halfway through our meal and then the service became poor. It was also very cold in the restaurant due to the heavy breeze of the air con.
There is one more thing, I had asked for "Happy Birthday" to be written on a desert for our mum in advance of the meal due to receiving an email from the restaurant enquiring if we wanted a birthday cake, but when our desert was served there was nothing. This is disappointing considering the restaurant emailed me asking if I would like to have chocolate cake for £8.00.
Beautiful little restaurant on trendy Hollywood road. The staff are welcoming and attentive. Food was very good. Recommend the duck and tuna tartare. The lemongrass Mille feuille was great. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner and the fact that they catered to our toddler’s food needs. High chair available too.
Recommend to families with well behaved kids for upscale dining!
I like this restaurant but I think the portions are on the small side.
Delicious food, catered for gluten free and fantastic service! Would definitely go back again.
Bandol food was disappointing. Service was mediocre and the cocktails very poor. The mussels were low quality, very dry and not tasty. The waitress was in a rush to clear plates too quickly. The main course presentation was fair and the duck very dry. Finally, a French restaurant that respects itself, serves at least some quality bread ( baquette! ) at the table.
We wanted to try French food in South London and after checking many reviews and a quick look at the menu Bandol seemed to fit the bill. Wonderful food and great service, although as we decided on a very early dinner we were one of only two sets of diners. But I found it very relaxing to have the place almost to ourselves.
We were originally seated at the bar despite having made a reservation for 2 people in the restaurant. The staff were quick to accommodate us in the restaurant once a table was freed and were very attentive throughout the evening. The food was light, fresh and delicious with an excellent selection of wines to accompany our choices. Small but chique venue, would highly recommend and look forward to revisiting soon.
Two friends and I had our first dinner at Bandol on Wednesday evening and we were really pleased with the whole evening, the ladies who welcomed us we warm and polite, the food was well executed ,original but not trying to be overly complicated. The ambiance in the restaurant was that of a friendly high end local restaurant.
We recommend this restaurant and plan to return again in the future.
Unfortunately we were sat right next to the busy service area. I was looking at the lift area where food came out and plates were returned down to the kitchen. Not ideal. It was noisy so quite difficult to hear each other. Nice food and wine, but at a not inconsiderable costs. Nice, welcoming and efficient staff. Nicely decorated place. The bar area actually looked super, so we would probably have been better there, even at a high table, out of the hustle and bustle.
fantastic service, delicious food and really good vibe. the fact it was busy on a Tuesday night is definitely a testament to the popularity of this place. the staff were attentive but not overbearing, respectful but not stuffy and the food was top notch!
the only criticism....we had to come all the way to Chelsea! The only suggestion.....please open in Hampstead.
Thank you for a fab night!
Fantastic place, delicious simple tasty fresh food.
Celebrated my 30th birthday here. Lovely place, great atmosphere delicious food and the staff were wonderful. Will definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend Bandol.
A very nice provence restaurant, good wine selection at reasonable price, set menu simple and tasty, easy to choose from. Ate very well and had a good business conversation. Dishes are describe at their basic ingredients, then come with as with a surprisingly pleasant flavour. There is a chef cooking in this restaurant, and a good one too.
We had an adpromptu dinner here. It had great ambiente, food and service! The lady waitress was most helpful with various advice. Much enjoyed!
I am sorry to say although the food was ok, it was over priced and the service on a saturday night below par. The staff were rushed off their feet. I would not recommend to go here... plenty of other places for half the price.
This is an excellent little French brasserie in South Kensington. Very good food that is priced fairly. (Lamb shank so good, my friend ordered seconds.) Friendly, unpretentious service and an excellent wine list anchored by, what else, Bandol.
First time visit in Bandol to celebrate a special occasion. Service was excellent, the staff was very accomodating with our requests. Food was very tasty and original with portions larger than expected. Would definetely recommend Bandol and will certainly be coming back.
Great food and excellent service. Very knowledgeable and engaging sommelier! Will definitely be back.
It is my neighbourhood gem, where I always bring my friends and family. Never disappointed. Highly recommend to pop in as they just changed to the seasonal menu. Tuna tartare - must to try!
Bandol's menu is absolutely lovely. To the point that we decided to order a variety of starters instead of the traditional 2-course meal. They were delicious - especially the tuna tartare and octopus carpaccio. Recommended.
Quite disappointing food, and understaffed. Great ambiance but would not go back.
Bandol is a great place if you are looking for some privacy and a quiet spot to enjoy your meal. Service was excellent and fast, food very tasty with generous portions. We had the seabass and the turbot which were great.
Brought my foreign friends to enjoy South of France cuisine specialities. Starters are well designed for sharing, squid ink risotto is must to try as well as salmon sashimi. Were very impressed by selection of seafood for mains. Service is attentive, professional, not too much intrusive. Good wine list, tried the special red of the month, happy with recommendation. Restaurant gets very busy, highly recommend to book in advance.
Sara who served us was first class...we stayed later than they would have liked I'm sure but there was no hurry up from them. All the food was very well prepared and tasty. Will definitely be back. Lovely decor inside too.
Food and service was great. Dessert wine was overpriced. We were seated near the entranced which was ok, but chairs were bar type chairs. For a 2 hour dinner, I would have preferred normal chairs.
Food was nice, service was attentive but had to wait for way too long between starters and mains
Delicious food, extensive wine list. Every dish was beautifully presented, used fresh ingredients, packed with flavour. Service was excellent - our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Bandol - whether for lunch or dinner, business or pleasure.
Lovely experience last night. We arrive a bit earlier than our booking time but was greeted nicely from their manager. We then been showed to our table and was amaze by the amazing menu. Food was beautiful, service was very attentive and we left with a happy and lovely experience. We look forward to our next date night again at Bandol.
What a great find! Local gem!!! Booked this place for a quiet birthday dinner and was so impressed with the food and the wine selection too. We ordered a mixture of things, croquettes, carpaccio, tartare and prawns - each dish was well presented and very flavoursome. I'd highly recommend the lamb chops, they are meaty well seasoned and delicious. Good wine list and very attentive service - our waitress was very helpful. Will be back!
Excellent restaurant with great atmosphere and superb food. Would highly recommend!
I have been there several times before and we were all disappointed this time. The food was not as good as usual and our duck was over cooked
Good food and service
Lovely menu and great wine list - well priced as well. This is a chic little restaurant with well priced smart dishes.
We had Burata, Octopus Carpaccio, crab linguini and finished with a really delicious apricot and almond tart. No complaints at all and the service was timely and helpful.
Will definitely return.
