French Restaurant at Vidanta Vallarta
Looking forward to returning on Friday. Exceptional!!! Don’t forget to order Crepe Suzettes for dessert!!!
Great food, beautiful views and wonderful service.
Azur is one of the two the best restaurants at Vidanta (the other being Quinto). The main courses are great, especially the beef. The gravlox is delicious. And the desserts especially the opera are spectacular.
The sunset situation is perfect. Eat outside. Inside the piano is too loud and makes conversation difficult.
Delicious food! Attentive service! Incredible Ambience! All time Vidanta favorite!
Fantastic. Our waiter was Mario. Very nice evening. They also provided gluten free variations. I haven’t had onion soup in years, and it was greatly appreciated.
The food was amazing!
The view is incredible.
The staff was friendly, attentive and very kind.
We were the last party of 3, and there was no attempt to send us on our way. They were very patient and let us enjoy our late night freely.
The steaks were incredible and cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious.
We’ve now dined at this restaurant three times during our recent stay at the resort. Two have been mediocre to poor and one was good. The restaurant is overpriced for it’s quality and they didn’t accommodate my food allergy very well. I’m hoping they will improve in 2021.
Scallops were wonderful. Lamb was tough and had quite a bit of grizzle. When we told the waiter that the lamb was tough, he gave a sharper knife. We said that we did not chew with a knife and the lamb was still hard to chew. The waiter walked away and did nothing.
Our waiter (Mario) was excellent. It would have been nice if the restaurant had some decorations for Valentines Day. Our meal tonight (salmon and sea bass) was not as enjoyable as the lamb and steak we had last week.
It was a very nice setting and the beef dish wonder. The soups were more ordinary. (Onion and lobster bisque).
The food was wonderful, but the cheese cart was not to be missed!!
Our waiter Mario went out of his way to make our last night in Mexico very special! The views are spectacular!
Had scallops and was sick for 2 days, we used food coupons for the meal when the bills (separate for food and beverages) was presented we was reminded by the waiter to add both amounts for the tip
Azur happens to be one of the best restaurants in the world. Xavier, who has been there for I think 40 years, prepared beef tartare. It is the best I have ever had. The servers Gerardo and Hugo were highly trained and added to the experience. Lamb, beef and fish were the dinner selections, each cooked to perfection. I was even able to get the ingredients for a side dish that was out of this world. Dessert was both visually pleasing to the eye and sublime to the palette. All in all, an unforgettable meal.
A beautiful place to enjoy a dinner watching the sun set. Staff are very attentive, ensuring all your requests and needs are taken care of. Food is beautifully plated, portion sizes are just right. A must place to enjoy dinner when in Puerto Vallarta.
Todo bastante bien, el costo es un poco alto
A great place to enjoy an evening meal! The food, service and general atmosphere was outstanding! We enjoyed the Sommelier coming to our table to give us wine suggestions! He was very knowledgeable, professional and fun!
This is always our favorite restaurants while in Nuevo Vallarta. Food is delightful and setting can’t be beat. Wonderful personalized service!
The view, service and ambience is the best at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta. Appetizers, soups and salads are top notch. However, the main entrees seemed tired and not as flavorful as anticipated.
Beautiful view excellent food
Merci à toute l équipe de l Azur !!!superbe soirée pour moi et ma femme .
The food and service were exceptional. Sit outside for a nice view of the lake and fireworks on the opposite side of the Grand Mayan. Also, the outside tables are more quiet. The pianist was a lovely touch.
Great food view and ambiance
Un bello lugar para una cena con excelente comida, vinos y una esmerada atención. Muy encantador.
Fabulous dinner! From the ambiance, to the service, to the food everything was top level. Foie gras, gravlax, lamb chops and sea bass were absolutely delicious. Wine selection of white Bordeaux was excellent. Great live piano music. Even the view was amazing! To top it off we had the chocolate lava cake and gran marnier soufflé which were yummy. Perfect night!
Excellent food and service. Beautiful view. Very enjoyable piano music in background. Special anniversary for sister. They did a special dessert. Memorable evening.
Cant beat the sunsets at Havana Moon! Food as always so
delicious! Service is timely and nice variety.
The lamb chop was overly done for a medium. It was dry and chewy. The servant never can and check how was the meal. Our glasses were not refilled from the water bottle we ordered. I gave the servant good time despite how poorly we were served for a fine restaurant. The atmosphere was great. We enjoyed the music played on piano and he onion soup. We felt we were not welcomed and I had to rush myself out by asking for the check and not going for the dessert. I would not recommend this restaurant based on the service and the way the the meat was cooked.
Light dinner: Lyonnaise salad, white wine and crep Suzette. Egg for salad was perfectly cooked soft boiled. Creps were with oranges not cherries, but delicious. Service was good, but not up to French standards. Still, I recommend it - but don't expect the true French experience.
My husband and I planned a date night at Azur, which had come highly recommended. To say we were sorely disappointed is an understatement. Our arrival and seating was pleasant enough. We were seated along the front of the patio, overlooking the pools and garden but a plastic-covered screen prevented us from seeing the rest of the restaurant. Our waiter was pleasant enough but failed to notice we were not served an amuse bouche. He also failed to inform us that the sea bass had been replaced with Mahi Mahi! I had selected the restaurant for the sea bass. I’m not particularly keen on Mahi Mahi. When my meal arrived, another waiter announced it was Mahi Mahi. I called our waiter, who apologized for not informing me of the change. He did offer the get something else for me but I didn’t want to wait while my husband ate alone. The Mahi Mahi was disappointing at best. Granted, the wait staff did the appropriate things to correct the situation by offering dessert on the house, but by this time I’d lost my appetite and just wanted to leave. It took an hour to get our food and a half and hour to get the bill. My course was removed from the bill but this is not what one expects from a restaurant that rates itself as top notch. There are so many great places to eat in and around Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta that Azur will not garner a return visit.
Wonderful we plan on visiting 2 more times before we leave
Outstanding restaurant with excellent food and service. The view is to die for
This place is the best restaurant in the resort. Love the food and the experience.
Fantastic food and service. 10 stars if I could!
Sit outside and watch the sunset! Inside is a grand piano that sounds beautiful from the outside seating. A little too loud from inside. Superb food and service. My sister and her husband lived in Europe for five years and they said Azur was a superior French restaurant. Authentic. Delicious.
Our favorite place to eat at the resort. Food is outstanding. It is not crowded, beautiful sunset views if you sit outside.
Outstanding food and great service. Highly recommended!
