Avenue is located over two floors in the heart of Maynooth. Opened in December 2007 by Robert & Bronagh Kennedy, Avenue now boasts a band of loyal customers, gaining a reputation for excellence and winning countless awards. Avenue has long been recognized for quality, consistency and value, along with the buzz of a busy restaurant and the warmth of our friendly staff… with a “Céad míle fáilte” that comes from the heart. Our customers continue to enjoy our great Irish food and that’s because we have a local, natural and honest approach with an easy-going warm style that is both rooted in tradition and yet still modern. It was a lovely evening and at a nice table downstairs where the noise and atmosphere were just right. The food was gorgeous and the wine choice was great. As it was a special occasion we got a lovely glass of bubbles on the house. The staff were very good and the service was fast and professional and they were all very curious to us. Highly recommend a visit here for a special occasion but be mindful the prices are not cheep but worth it.

When we arrived air conditioning was on but was set to heating soon after,it was a bit chilly initially

My wife and I went for Sunday lunch. Food was excellent (as usual) and very good value. Our waitress, Caoimhe, was excellent. She was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We'll certainly be back and would highly recommend it. It's an excellently run restaurant.

Great place for Saturday afternoon dining. The early bird menu has great choices and plenty of GF options for us coeliac folks! Service is good and desserts are worth ordering. Definitely worth a visit
