What a wonderful restaurant! I dined here yesterday and my experience was wonderful from the time I walked in until I left. My party had the pleasure of having Jeff for our server and he was so great! An amazing personality, knowledgeable, friendly and had the perfect timing as to when to check up on the table. The decor is also beautiful. New, pops of greenery and industrial chic!

Now for the drinks, I enjoyed the Red Sangria and it was great! Not too sweet and it had a kick!

For the food, I had the crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was so delicious! Very little filling, the remo sauce was tasty and the fries were fresh and crispy. My best friends as the gumbo (minus crawfish) and it was tasty! Perfectly spiced. We also had dessert. She had the bread pudding and I chose the key lime pie. I wasn't a fan of the meringue topping on the pie so I requested to have the sorbet instead.

All in all, the food and experience were both top notch and we both plan on making this one of our go to spots!

Tried this place out for the first time. It's a nice "hidden" gem. The location is unexpected as I've passed this restaurant many times without knowing it was there. I went in to try a dish I saw from the online menu and decided to try something on the weekly special menu. The food was delicious and the portions were appropriate for the price. The only negative was the service was a bit slow. I think they could use another server or two, as the restaurant is small but outside of that I enjoyed my experience here and I will be coming back. I would suggest making a reservation and worth noting the establishment has very limited evening hours.

This is the best restaurant in Crofton!

From walking through the door and being personally greeted by the owner, it let me know that my experience would be good! The atmosphere was amazing, the food was amazing and the overall service was amazing. I will be returning soon. Thanks for everything.

Our first time at Ashling Kitchen. Went for Easter dinner special. My wife and I were careful to choose different entries and sides that we might get to taste a greater variety. Everything was excellent. The pork loin with apple chutney was incredible. Wife loved the herb crusted lamb. Candied yams, southern style green beans, honey glazed carrots and garlic mashed potatoes all very good. Finished with slices of carrot and Smith Island chocolate cakes - neither disappointed.
The restaurant is very nicely appointed. The service was great. I think we were welcomed by the entire staff. Am looking forward to returning and trying what appears to be interesting entre options.

When I visited the food was too salty, both the soup and entree.

The food was amazingly delicious a new place I will continue to patronize. I had the shrimp and grits and my date had the curry goat which were delicious.

Food was very good. They really play up the fact that the owner catered and traveled with celebrities. Which is cool I guess, but the big map of all of the places she's been seems a little tacky. The pictures in the hallway to the restrooms is sufficient for "her" celebrity status I'd say. But the food was very good (salmon) and the menu is solid. Maybe a tad pricey. Also noticed that they charge $1 per person for covid fee. Not a big deal but seemed odd.

Food was really good and so we're the drinks. Service was really good as well.

We had a lovely time. We were seated at a table near the bar and window. Music was way too loud. We had an excellent waiter. Hostess needs customer service training. Food was excellent except two of us who got the meatloaf felt the gravy was too salty. Meatloaf itself was delicious. Rest of the meals were very good.

This was my first time dining in and enjoyed everything. The drinks were super cute and taste delicious. Service was 10/10. Good was great, I will most definitely will be back.

Ashling is definitely a hidden gem. My family and I went for dinner and it was delicious. There was a variety of items on the menu I wanted to try so I am definitely going back. The waiter was great and the music was a vibe.

We love this place and is now one of our faves to dine at. Everything about Ashlings is amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious! We love the ambiance but noise level in the back is a bit loud. We were celebrating our almost 16 year old son who just finished 4 years of high school in 3 years and is now ready for graduation in June. We are extremely proud of our son.

The food is excellent. The service was fantastic. Beautiful ambience. A very nice date night for hubby and I. It is a bit pricey (we got two sandwiches, bread pudding for dessert, and soft drinks - total with tip: $60) but it was worth every bite.

I loved the decor and the ambiance. Our waiter was wonderful and the food was delicious and well presented.

Great place! Best kept secret in the area. It's in the perfect location tucked away from busier, larger shopping complexes. Customer service was outstanding! We were greeted and served with a smile and received prompt attention and responses to questions regarding our meal choices. The atmosphere was just right, considering the social distancing requirements. The food was well prepared and the specialty cocktails were great too. I look forward to experiencing the chef's creations over the Spring and Summer months. I will definitely return again soon.

We happily returned to Ashling Kitchen better than I remembered from my last visit. I do miss their cute menus, but I hope they will bring them back when it is safe to do so.

Saeed, the owner, was very hospitable. He stopped by our table to check on us and shared some amazing stories about how Ashling came to be. Really enjoyed ourselves!

Had a wonderful dinner here on 3/10 and all six of us loved our food, and 3 of the 6 are very picky! This will be a regular for us!

Awesome food at a fair price! Servers are very attentive. The food was served hot.... with great flavors.

This was my second time to Ashling Kitchen and everything was perfect once more. The food here is amazing and innovative and the Ashling signature cocktail is delicious. They were quite busy, but the server was very kind and did a good job. I appreciated the manager coming by to check in on how things were going. The ambiance of the restaurant is good as well - I like how it isn't too loud. I also like how they offer a seasonal special menu, the Beef Wellington offered in December was amazing. We will definitely be coming back to Ashling Kitchen again.

First time visit for my family. We had the crab dip, shrimp tempura and Brussels for apps. All were delicious. For meals we had kids pasta, shrimp scampi, pot roast, ashling burger and steak frites. All were delicious except the burger did not live up to the price tag.
Service was wonderfully attentive. Manager came to the table more than once. They had a private function coming in that evening and it appeared they planned out the reservation very well in order to accommodate everyone.
I will definitely be returning with my family. Highly recommend for date nights, family dinners, and the private dining area looked fantastic as well.

When I walked in, I was asked by the hostess if we had a reservation. I did not. She responded in a snotty tone “we haven’t taken walk in’s in 2 months”. The restaurant looked dead so i asked if they had any availability for a reservation. She again responded in a snotty tone “no, we are booked for the evening”. That’s when I decided to check on Open Table. I was able reserve a table within the half hour. The hostess was obviously not thrilled to see us back. She sat us in the corner. There were plenty of other tables available. When a server finally arrived at our table she apologized and said the hostess never told her that we were sat in her section. Other than that the drinks and food were great.

Overall nice. Enjoyed what they did to the old space. Food was good. Ordered a Pork Porterhouse. It was not the cut that was advertised. It was a thick chop that was butterflied, not a porter. After dinner cordial was not served in proper glassware. The glassware is just a training opportunity, but the cut of meat was a bait and switch, intentional or not, or lack of knowledge in the kitchen. No issue with the chop (although it was butterflied), but change the menu to pork “chop”.

Danielle was a fantastic server - very friendly and knowledgeable. The hostess discreetly took temps and all parties were spaced out throughout the restaurant comfortably. The food was delicious! We had the shrimp and grits, roasted brussels sprouts and the rigatoni Bolognese with bonus leftovers for the next day! The Baltimore Mule and margarita were fantastic too!

A go-to for us.

The service was slow which was surprising considering the restaurant wasn’t busy. We ordered three appetizers, three entrees, an extra side of truffle mac and cheese, one cocktail, a glass of wine and a soft drink. We tried and didn’t like the truffle mac and cheese and sent it back. The manager told us that they were not going to remove the $6.00 truffle mac and cheese because it had nothing to do with the kitchen. We said we didn’t eat it because we didn’t like it. He proceeded to let us know that other tables like it and we had to pay for it. I have never experienced such horrible customer service before. I asked then manager if he was willing to lose three customers and potentially more because of his unwillingness to remove a $6.00 truffle mac and cheese. Apparently he is okay with the bad review and word of mouth. I will never return and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

service with Todd was above what was expected! Will return to this hidden gem that we probably would not know about if not for the pandemic an open table.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at Ashling. We had been to their food truck and were really excited to eat at the restaurant. The ambiance was on point- it was trendy without trying too hard. Candles at every table aided in the romantic ambiance. The food was sooo good- we had the Brussels sprouts to share, the vegan burger, margherita pizza and banana bread pudding for dessert. Our waiter, Todd, was great- highly efficient which is great in COVID times. We’ll absolutely be back soon.

The meatloaf was delicious! And our server was very attentive. I would come back to try more menu items.

The atmosphere was great. i got a poutine which was great. Being also from Quebec I have eaten that many times.
