Artisan Waterfront Restaurant & Tavern offers a unique and innovative dining experience with magnificent views of Lake Michigan. Our Great Lakes-inspired, New American cuisine has an emphasis on farm-fresh fare from local and regional farms, celebrating the theme of craftsmanship and sustainability.
With booking a table in Artisan please advise your table will be reserved for 2 hours starting at the time of your reservation.
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUTSIDE TABLES ARE RESERVED UPON REQUEST BUT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.
If you have requested a table outdoors, please be advised that in the case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate your party inside at the same reservation time, however we cannot guarantee a table inside at the same exact time and may need to adjust the reservation time accordingly.

Drinks and appetizers were great! Be sure to ask about special drinks. It got busy and our entrees came slow. The food was excellent. Best filet I've had in a long time. Not inexpensive but a reasonable value.

Our food was excellent, but pricy, the service was all you could as for. I wish that they offered a broader menu.

We were looking forward to the cozy cabana by the pool. Service started out phenomenal but quickly changed after our first drink order. They never put in our food order and then never came back to see if we wanted another drink. I thought they would take something off the bill but they never did. It was disappointing

We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner here. The special menu offered a nice variety of entrees including a traditional turkey dinner as well as a vegetarian option. Desserts were great although by that point we decided to take one of them home. Very cool chef’s gift at the end… a pair of turkey sliders for that Friday turkey sandwich. Great service too.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Artisan! The experience was exceptional; one of the best dining experiences I've had this year. Our waiter, Giovanni, was knowledgeable, and professional. The food far exceeded my expectations. The only aspect of the evening that was not perfect was due to the fact that our waiter was pulled to serve a large party during our meal, and we saw very little of him after that. No one asked if we wanted coffee with our dessert or refilled water glasses at our table. However, I understand that this was a holiday, and it was clear to see that the staff was working very hard, and probably somewhat exhausted. I will definitely visit Artisan again.

We have gone to the Artisan for previous holiday celebrations, such as Christmas, Mother’s Day, and Easter. Our experience with Thanksgiving dinner was just lovely. A nice variety of menu choices and two delicious desserts. Everyone in our party raved about their food. We were even sent home with a to-go bag of turkey sliders, which was a very nice surprise. Highly recommended for lunch, dinner, and special occasions!

Our server, Lauren was spectacular. The food was fantastic! It was a really good experience, and I’m glad that we came. But I do feel like the cost was exorbitant at the end of the day. The cost for the bottled water, when I didn’t know tapwater was an option, was ridiculous, And 20 some dollars for three shrimp? With tip, it cost me $250, when I was expecting 150 or thereabouts with an added cocktail. That part will keep me from coming back
