The grand two-level space features avant-garde designs, including a 30-foot column embraced with vintage books, an original printing machine and out-of-this-world lighting collected across the world. Charmed by the candlelit tables, vintage floors, exposed industrial ceilings and intimate corners hiding within the industrial-chic space, the vibrant setting plays host to the fabulous and the fashionable nightly, where a hip crowd gathers to soak up the convivial atmosphere and groove to the DJs at Anis Modern | Mediterranean Underground. Sooo disappointed with this restaurant! The restaurant has changed significantly since the last time I dined here. I came here for Valentine's day and it lacked the charm, ambiance and inventive menu that I remember from dining at Mundo. I got the gnocchi and my husband ordered the burger. The gnocchi was prepared like a white lasagna, which isn't what I was expecting. It was very bland and the portion was tiny. My husband liked his burgers but the skinny fries were a joke. Our table was close to the bar which ruined the mood and we overheard a loud group talking at the bar. We will never return to this restaurant and I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of better restaurants in the area. It's too bad because this space at the Paper Factory Hotel has so much potential.
