Acerca de Acre Restaurant & Cocktail Bar
Global Cuisine, Local Ingredients.
Authenticity also drives our food and cocktail program. Kevin, Oscar and Dani are obsessed with using only those ingredients that are closest at hand. Between our own farm and neighbouring suppliers, our ingredients don"t travel very far to your plate or glass.
At the same time we've been able to develop an extremely creative food and cocktail program, similar to what you might find in a large city. We're certain Los Cabos is ready for this type of experience.
Acre is a 25 acre piece of farmland adjacent to San Jose del Cabo. The restaurant, cocktail bar, event space and surrounding farms is the first phase. 12 tree-houses will be added to our palm forest shortly. Eventually the full 25 acres will be developed as a space for people to relax, learn, rejuvenate and celebrate.

Acre Restaurant & Cocktail Bar calificaciones y reseñas
Entering Acre was like walking into an oasis in the middle of the desert. A wonderful setting, service was great and the food was beyond great. The creativity, the presentation and the taste were all first class. Would highly recommend anyone in the Cabo area to check them out.
this place had insane ambiance...we were all going nuts the minute we walked down the gorgeous pathway of palm trees...it was a true oasis. the bar is cool and as the place for drinks.
our table for dinner was perfectly situated and our service was amazing.
the appetizers were good, but the main courses fell flat and were disappointing. i hate to even say this, because they were beyond kind and the setting was to die for.
i hope they get their menu together, because not even a simple fish taco was good:(
we have eaten at flora farms and their ambiance is 5 star as well...but their food is too...can't say the same for acre. all four of us didn't enjoy the main courses.
This was a superb restaurant. We've been to Cabo many times but first time to visit here. Dramatic, lush grounds. A true mixologist craft cocktail bar with special mouth spray to enhance your cocktail, smoked herbs, homemade bitters and all kinds of potions. On the restaurant side the servers were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful (Edgar was great!). If you have an appetite by all means order the tasting menu. They are flexible enough to steer around the things you may not like. Complex flavor pairings, foams, great presentation, the whole works. Very much worth the drive and we'll be back.
It was over priced and the service was intrusive. In comparison to other farm to table restaurants in the area it was nothing special. The food was mediocre . The ambiance was odd with incense burning and liyd music but the surrounding greenery was beautiful. Nor sure what the image is that they were going for. It is an effort to get there by taxi and not worth the trip.
This was our first visit, and it won't be our last! On the drive out to The Acre, you wonder what you might find, but this place is amazing - a literal oasis in the middle of some pretty typical Baja dry terrain.
It's a "wow" from the minute you walk on the property and towards the restaurant and every aspect of the dining experience was first class. Our waitstaff was attentive and friendly, the drinks menu was imaginative (and delicious, said my wife)and the wine list was very well rounded.
The menu does not contain the typical fare you might expect in Cabo - check it out on their website - but everything the 4 of us had was delicious. We could have passed on dessert (the portions are generous) but we were glad we didn't, as it was the perfect ending to the evening.
This place is a bit pricy compared to some of the other restaurants we have been to, but we didn't feel bad about the cost given how beautiful the venue was and how much we enjoyed the entire experience. In addition, the cab ride was ~$25 USD (each way) from the hotel area in San Jose del Cabo.
Hands down the best food we had on our 7 day trip to San Jose del Cabo. We went twice! Once for brunch and then back for dinner to experience it at night time. A fabulous experience from the minute you walk onto the property. The open air restaurant/bar unfolds as you as enter. The attention to details is notable throughout. The dining room is equipped with misters which come on periodically if the temperature is unusually high. The food we had was amazing. I had the agnolotti which I'm still craving, husband had the fish tacos which he said were the best he'd had (and he is hard to please). The food and drinks are creative and different yet all delicious. This is a very cool place to visit, beautiful property, with a swimming pool, animals and an organic farm. Casual feel in an elegant setting. They had a pizza night on Thursdays in the bar that seemed very popular. The restaurant was busy, but the serving staff super attentive. I would highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates great food and ambience.
Was referred to ACRE by a Canadian couple we met while in Cabo and decided to venture out to try. A bit difficult to access due to poor roads but well signed from the main roads. Food was outstanding and our waiter Javier made the night special with excellent service and a tour of the property complete with a model treehouse, pool, and caged peacocks and goats! Will be back for sure.
Such a special evening here. Our waiter, Jesus treated us like queens. The fried green tomatoes and corn pasta we're to die for. The flies were worth enduring for the ambiance and meal. The handmade mango popsicles on our way out solidified the amazing evening.
We took a chance coming here after seeing someone tag the restaurant on instagram, and so glad we did! Located off a dirt road, it felt like an oasis in the desert and a welcome retreat away from the business of downtown Cabo. We ordered the "7 course" tasting menu at 1400 pesos per person. It definitely felt bigger than 7 courses! Everything tasted spectacular with our favorites being the squid ink pasta with chorizo and whole roasted hen. The meal and experience did not disappoint. The service was amazing with a rotation of about 3 waiters checking in us. Acre is definitely worth the drive out of Cabo!
This place is outstanding. Food, cocktails & service are top notch.
We went at 5pm in August so we got what we deserved with regards to the weather. Hot & humid for outdoor dining is not great but the staff did their best to cool us down.
Don't be put off by the distance from Cabo or San Jose. Well worth the drive even with some off it on dirt roads!
Just go and try it, you'll love it.
The property and restaurant was amazing. We met the head bartender and he was friendly and full of information about everything. The head chef, Daniel, talked to us for a long time and gave us lots of attention, even picking our meals. The food was amazing as was the service. Also met the manager and the hostess and were extremely friendly. Will definitely be back next trip!
When we got there they tried to seat us at the worst table (next to the kitchen and ovens) and when I asked if there were other tables available (restaurant was about half empty) they said those tables were reserved...so not sure what was different between an OpenTable reservation and other "reserved" tables. In any case, after almost walking away, they decided to seat us at another of their 15 empty tables. Note...restaurant never got full..so not sure what the deal was. Food and service was great.
We went here for our first time for my birthday dinner. The property is amazing, will some goats, peacocks, and chickens to see. There is a stunning pool which backs up to a beautiful dance floor great for parties or weddings. All in all our experience was great with attentive staff and all around great service. Our server Raul was a delight and recommended several great things to try. Will return next time we are in San Jose!
Terrible experience. This was our 2nd time to Acre. We loved our dining experience on our last trim to Cabo the summer before so we were excited to return. We made our reservation 3 months ahead of time and requested a special table. Upon arrival to the restaurant, we were told we would have to wait for our table. After 30 minutes, my husband walked around the restaurant to find 2 empty tables. When we told the hostess, she sat us at one but didn't set it with glasses, cutlery, or clean off the table. The waiter came to set the table but didn't introduce himself. He then asked if we knew what we wanted...didn't go over the specials, introduce the restaurant to us, tell us about it's concept. When asked, he did go over a few things but with little energy and excitement. Food was terrible. My husband sent back the hen- one of their specialties. It was dry and tasteless. My octopus tasted like they forgot to grill it but microwaved it once it was over seasoned. Very slow to refill water on a very hot night. When we spoke with the manager he offered to fix everything but at that point our dinner was ruined. They offered us complimentary dessert so I ordered the Lemon Curd (what I had the year before). They brought over two desserts although we only ordered one and just put them down without description. When I started to eat the Lemon Curd it looked very strange. I called over the waiter to ask why it looked odd and he said they were out of lemon curd so they brought me coffee flan with a scoop of lemon sorbet on top (so I could taste lemon). It looked disgusting and I was shocked that they gave me something completely different without mentioning. I'm very sensitive to caffeine and would have been up all night had I eaten that. Manager took care of the bill but didn't help change the overall night. We won't return to Acre. They started out strong but not looking very good at this point. He tried to explain by saying it was their "off season"
We enjoyed the Acre, such an interesting concept. We had the tasting menu for dinner and it was amazing. Out waiters were top notch and we wanted for nothing.
One of the chefs came out to talk to us and tell us about the food... one of our servers took us on a tour of one of the orchards.
We will definately go back!
Oh my goodness, this restaurant is fabulous!!! DO NOT come to Cabo without visiting this restaurant. The grounds are covered with fresh vegetables, animals, plants, etc. The staff is absolutely awesome - thank you Israel! The food was delicious - I'm not a vegetarian but found myself eating more veges than the steak I ordered. It an oasis in the middle of the desert. A must see, a must eat!!!
Amazing great time. Located minutes from Flora Farms. A little dirt road will guide you into an unexpected contemporary outdoor seated restaurant with an exciting exposed kitchen. Have fun with the wine list and try some local Mexican wine... they have some solid bottles to talk about. Great service! Special recognition to Armando who was very helpful and knowledgeable on the wines and Raul our server was spot on! They both made it a special evening.
I was in Cabo San Lucas in April of this year and visited Flora Farms and on my way out I saw a sign for Acre. I looked Acre up on instagram and it looked amazing. I knew I was coming back in July and had to visit Acre. We went on a Tuesday night. I was blown away walking into the palm jungle. We were seated right away even though we were 15 minutes early to our reservation. Our servers were fabulous. I wish I could remember their names. The restaurant area was gorgeous. Our meals were so amazing, cocktails delicious, and experience was phenomenal.
When we were walking into Acre, we noticed tree house like structures, so we asked our server about them and he said they were tree house that would be opening in November. He asked if we wanted a tour, and of course we did! The manager Daniel came over and he was great, super nice, easy to talk to, and showed us around the property and the tree houses. The tree houses are going to be so fun to stay in! Stylish and quaint. He also showed us the pool which was beautifully lit at night and the mango trees. The place was stunning. I can not wait to visit again. Definitely worth the drive!
