Excelente lugar comida y servicio. Muy diferente
Vale la pena definitivo
Excellent food but very expensive. The music, recorded, Was good but far too loud. I asked twice for the music to be turned down but the young man in charge of the stereo turned it up again shortly after. Too Loud for intimate conversation.
The only negative was their computer system went down and the bill took over an hour to get sorted... maybe a better plan if it were to happen again? Our server was wonderful but overwhelmed due to the system being down and I think a GM may have been needed to help wait staff.
But I’d like to end on a positive note - Absolutely amazing food, and I know the service would have been amazing too if not for the computer system outage over whelming our server. I will be back next time I’m in Cabo!!!
The new chef Larbi is a gem! Our guests were blown away by the food and ambience.
This is our 6th time eating @ Acre and we were so disappointed this time that we will not go back. Food Pricing is Astonishing for what you receive. Not to mention it costs $60.00 round trip by taxi from San Jose. We do not mind paying for good food, but this place has gone downhill.
Acre is amazing. Second time we have been there. Food is great and it’s beautiful.
Sister visiting from the US. It was fabulous in every way!!!
The walkway to the restaurant is through a well-lit jungle. Seating is booth or table. The menu is varied, interesting and the food is great. The food is even better because of the new chef Larbi. This is a go-to for me and my local friends.
Felt rushed. Part of the experience was visiting the grounds and farm animals. New owners no longer allowed us to do so. Would not allow us to go see the pool after the meal. It has become overpriced for the value. We went three times last year bringing new guests each time I’ll be here 5 weeks this year and this will be my first and last vacation visit.
El lugar es bellisimo y la comida muy buena. Altamente recomendable
Acre is a must. We have been going there for years and never a complaint. Our married children go every time they visit Cabo. The food is delicious, a beautiful setting day or night, very gracious hostess and staff.
Acre appears to be enjoyed by many, the restaurant was full and it is a trek driving there.

Food is very fresh and locally grown and sourced . An oasis in a tropical jungle setting.
Way overpriced for the food. Tasty and nice setting, but double or triple what it would cost anywhere else.
I love Acre, however regarding the service, there is much space to improve.
Besides that, the ambience and food is amazing!
The setting, craft cocktails and service were top notch. What a beautiful location. The pricing was very high end, as one ought to anticipate in such a locale, but the quality/taste of the food did not match. Presentation was lovely and artistic. We are foodies, have enjoyed some v. good dining in the SJD area, but the taste wasn’t comparable. The setting and service were excellent!
Terrible service and way over priced. Never go back when I can go to Flora Farms and have a great experience
We traveled here with another couple for a late breakfast/brunch, and while the grounds were just as pretty as they appear in pictures, that is where the positives stopped for us. I had made a reservation 2 months prior to our arrival for 11am at the main restaurant. Upon arrival, some of the grounds keepers pointed us in the direction of the restaurant. (It is quite a hike to get back there, but at least the foliage is beautiful.) Once we found the restaurant, it was completely empty with only the owner and head chef having a meeting. They informed us that the restaurant was not open at that time, and we could eat at the cafe closer to the front of the property. (Why on earth were reservations allowed to be made for a time the restaurant is closed?!) There were no tables available in the cafe, only four outdoor barstools. Despite being disappointed with the reservation/restaurant closed issue, we tried to make the best of it. Unfortunately, we had to ask our server for basic things like drinks, sides, etc. several times (we had a person in our group who spoke fluent Spanish, so language was not a barrier.) Then worst of all, one of our friends had a worm crawling in her salad. We mentioned this to our server (being as discreet as possible, as to not concern fellow patrons), but instead of offering help in anyway, he simply pick up her dish and never offered any sort of apology or replacement. When their bill came, her dish was still on there, even though she couldn't finish it. We were floored. There is ZERO chance we would go back here or recommend it to anyone.
We have enjoyed very much on our last two vistuts to Acre in 2/19 and 2/18. We again looked forward to our visit in 320 And although the food was as delicious as ever, we had an odd frustrating start to our experience. We went to the lively bar for a drink before going to our table and waited a VERY long time for the cocktails to arrive. The hostess came looking for us ultimately. It was very strange. The bartenders were clearly busy but possibly also dismissive of the waitress who felt bad and brought water , nuts etc and kept apologizing. Ended up being and unnecessarily odd and stressful start to our experience Management perhaps seemed to us to be not overly concerned.... we will still return. We enjoyed the rest of the meal very much But gave us an odd sense of being not paid attentive to in the overall ‘scene’. Definitely got a carefree vibe from the bartender staff.
This place is so pretentious. Four of us went on a Monday night for dinner at 8pm. There were empty tables and they still made us wait 30 min for no reason. After we ordered our meal, it took more than 30 min for our drinks of tequila rocks to come (our appetizers came first). Food was inconsistent. Ambiance was like the W in South Beach. The merch at the shop was weak too. Save yourself. Don’t go.
We were very excited about our dinner at Acre as we expected to be on par with Flora Farms where we ate 2 nights earlier. The setting is beautiful, the scenery is great. It took 25 minutes to get a drink, another hour for food to start showing up and no one ever really checked in on us. Yes, they were getting busy as the night went on, but if the waiter had ever come by he would see we barely ate much of our meals. The tuna was dry and had no flavor, the catch of the day was over cooked and bland, my wife had the lobster pasta which she loved the pasta but did not touch the lobster as it was too tough to cut. We asked for our check when the waiter finally came over and 10 minutes later he came back but with dessert menus.
This was suppose to be a highlight of our trip from a dinner experience and did not live up to expectations. Add the cost of the meal(very expensive) and it was a disappointing experience.
I hope others have a better evening there
Good but seemed very expensive....salad dressing on my wife’s salad was way too salty...we sent back but she still charged us
Fantastic meal from start to finisb
The setting is incredible, but the food was underwhelming and expensive.
My only complaint is that I ordered the chicken sandwich wrap. I am all about texture and unless the skin on chicken is roasted or smoked and crispy, I do t care to eat the skin which was on my chicken in my wrap.
The food and ambiance was amazing. However, we made a reservation weeks prior, for 7:30 and when we arrived after the mezcal tasting at 7:35 they said “we don’t have a table for you”. This left a bad first impression. We were curious what the point in a reservation was after waiting half an hour for a table, even when we were quoted 10-15 mins. Another couple that walked in with us after the tasting had a reservation for 7:30 as well and the same thing happened to them. Not a great way to welcome new guests. Once we were sat, the experience got better as our server was excellent and the food was great.
Very special place. The ambiance was great for date night. The design of the complex with walkway to restaurant enchanting with tropical foliage everywhere. The food and service were good but not great.
Very nice restaurant but the food is just meh
Have been visiting this restaurant for the past 5 years. Ambience and service sets this apart from others. Food is very good yet has become quite pricey. Wondering if they are catering to a select clientele. Hopefully owners do not let their success cause a loss of perspective. Always amazed at level of service considering what is being paid to their staff.
The experience was a gastronomic delight and the service was exceptional. The setting was fabulous and the only caveat was the constant drumbeat of the music. Not our style.
Great food. Amazing venue with great music!
Always always a wonderful experience! The food is amazing and the service is wonderful!!
It was wonderful. The food was unique and delicious.
Would go back for sure!
I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday while we were in Cabo for vacation. The food was fresh, flavorful and came out with perfecting timing and presentation. The catch of the day dish was our favorite, it was white fish with a chickpea purée(humus) and a red sauce with veggies and a salad. The restaurant itself is amazing, the location and decor made me feel like I was in a jungle. We tipped the DJ and got his information because his sets were THAT good. We went to acre two days prior to our intimate dinner of just the two of us and had a completely different experience. We had a big birthday party of 25 people and the service was a bit slow as to be expected with that many guests, so we wanted to come back to see experience Acre as just the two of us, we were pleasantly surprised! We will definitely revisit!
This place is fabulous! The food is AMAZING and the cocktails are to die for. Please make sure you order the cheesy biscuits (you'll be mad at yourself if you don't!) If you're looking for a fun, sexy and romantic dinner Acre Restaurant is your place!
Beautiful settings. Attentive service. Mediocre food. Horrendously expensive for what you get.
beautiful setting, delicious food! very special!
Found Acre to be overpriced for what we received, even with the expected elevated price level for farm-to-table in San Jose. We loved the ambience and the service was good if not almost too attentive. The evening prior we ate dinner at Flora Farms, which is very close by - same general feeling towards pricing, even though we’d been there many times. We preferred our food experience at Flora Farms over that at Acre.
We LOVE the tropical jungle setting of Acre. Very interesting and creative menu. Delicious mixed drinks. Check out the accommodations on site. Truly unique!
