The ambiance is fantastic with beautiful grounds and perfect lighting
The menu is creative and the food is excellent
Service is always friendly and helpful
Great tasting menu
The venue was beautiful, and the service was excellent. But the music that the DJ was playing was so ridiculously loud and obnoxious you could not enjoy your meal.
Acre is a MUST visit Whether you’re close in San José del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas, Acre unparalleled in terms of the amazing food and drinks (the presentation is very innovative with out sacrificing quality). From the moment you walk down the lush green path, you’re transported to a truly special experience. The restaurant is designed impeccably- truly stunning. The expansive grounds offer breathtaking views and they even have a puppy sanctuary (adoptions available), goats, an peacock. If you’re a guest, there’s a pool. I have been to acre for brunch twice and will continue to go on all my trips to Cabo. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Great experience. Beautiful grounds, delicious food and attentive service. Will definitely be back next year.
Beautiful surrounding but overpriced for the food and drinks and not worth the $100 cab to get there.
Such a unique and breathtaking property. Delicious food, incredible decor, friendly staff, beautiful lush grounds. Not to be missed!!
Celebrated a 30th birthday here. They didn’t do anything
Acre is amazing!!!! It’s a must when visiting Cabo!
We will definitely be back. And to stay not just eat! The ambiance is amazing everything from the service to the music to the perfectly curated drink menu!
The food is just not great - bland to put it nicely. If you’re a a chilli hound ask for the Fire sauce - at least you will be burning your tastebuds rather than just boring them.
The ambience is great - if you’re looking for a night club. The place seems to be on the verge of taking off as a club but it fails as a restaurant.
Great decor - sticks to the drinks and desserts if you have to go.
This venture trying too hard to be a destination but is not worth the effort. The service was very poor, the food uneven and unremarkable. “Upscale tacos” are not worth the cost compared to the local establishments, but I will say that the chips and salsa were quite good. And $18 for an 8 ounce cocktail is fine in NYC, but not in San Jose...
Loved it. Food was great. Highlight was visiting the puppies!
On holiday and on a date for dinner -
Don’t know what all the hype is about. Pretty grounds and service was great, but food was just ok.
Just ok not great
Acre is amazing! The landscaping is on a level of Jurassic Park in a good way. Some of the largest species of blue fan palms I’ve seen! Service a bit slow, but it gives you time to take it all in.
“This isn't just dinner; this is an experience. If this is a cult, I want to join."
My boyfriend and I LOVED our Christmas dinner at Acre restaurant.
Driving down a quiet, dirt road we weren't sure what to expect. Soon we found ourselves walking through a tropical jungle of sorts, the faint hum of music leading us onwards.
"How did they get rid of all the mosquitoes??"
This was the first time during our trip that we felt we could enjoy the outdoors and not get bitten.
We arrived early enough to further explore the hotel grounds, which are amazing. In the back, you can see the farm where they get fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs to use in the restaurant.
There was a gentleman offering tours, but we had to make it back in time for dinner and couldn't join.
-out of this world, come see it for yourself
-attentive and thoughtful, good menu recommendations
-delicious and fresh
-we shared several vegetarian options
-one criticism; our least favorite dish was the fried tomatoes. The tomato inside didn't seem fully cooked and there was too much of the fried bread on the outside. It seems to be a popular dish though so maybe our particular order wasn't ideal.
-prices are high even for US standards, but worth it for the experience and for celebrating a special occasion
On the way out, another gentleman showed us how they keep the mosquitoes away and gave us a tour of the treehouse accommodations. The attention to detail they have put into developing Acre is incredible. We can't wait to come back again, and next time we will probably stay in a treehouse!
Tip: if not staying at the hotel, come early for dinner to view the grounds in daylight. We came after dark, which was still amazing, but wished we could have seen more!
We love the ambiance more than anything at ACRE. The drinks are ridiculously overpriced, but the food is reasonable. We will normally go to Flora Farms, but ACRE is worth the trip for special occasions.
Acre was an amazing experience. Food was delicious and fresh. The restaurant itself has a tropical and secluded feel. The farm itself was fun to walk to and made the whole experience feel very immersive. Absolutely the best meal we had in Cabo.
Great bartender! Loved the grounds!!! Amazing! Food was superb. Quite an experience.
Nice ambiance, the food is average and probably a little overpriced.
We were on vacation. This was a great experience all around. We had the 5-course chef tasting menu. The portions were generous and the food taste great.
Acre with it’s lush beautifully landscaped jungle grounds is absolutely gorgeous.
The ambience is just right. Definitely geared for a couple’s romantic dinner and maybe a small group dinner party.
The food was really very good and creative. There were some good and great dishes.
This place looks outstandingly beautiful.
The garden is really impressive.
The entire design of the place is gorgeous!
The service was a bit disappointing.
The waiters didn’t make us feel very welcome.
Even if they weren’t very busy this evening.
All felt a bit arrogant and wanna be cool which isn’t cool at all!
The food was ok but nothing special.
All in all a nice place to go, but they are trying to hard to be fancy.
Especially in Mexico the staff is usually super nice, warm and welcoming.
This is what’s missing here.
It was a great date night spot. Loved the lush surroundings and sexy vibe. DJ was a nice touch. Food was amazing and service excellent!!!
World class restaurant, the atmosphere is incredible!
This place blew us away !! It is a magnificent property. The grounds are so pretty. We were given a tour of the property upon our arrival and then we were invited to the Mescal tasting with a very knowledgeable woman who was kind , pretty and passionate about her job. The restaurant was gorgeous. The food was amazing and we can’t wait to bring our adult children back next year. The best place in Cabo.
Truly a magical place. Everything was good, a few things really good...
A terrific place for lunch. Very cordial staff and ceviche to die for. We really enjoyed it and our walk after lunch over the entire property
Incredible staff, property, food and experience. Highly recommend carving out a good amount of time (30-45 minutes) to view the property before a dinner reservation and look at the amazing work Acre is doing in the community and on the farm. Top notch place.
This restaurant is a definitely "must-do" if you're in the Cabo San Lucas area. A little off the beaten path but well worth the trip!
Excellent food and atmosphere
Once you get to Acre, it's an oasis... gorgeous setting, ambience and food! Worth the trek through a bit of dirt road... amazing concept, lush gardens, great variety of yummy dishes... a definite must at least once per trip to Cabo! Enjoy!
A spectacular location and great food
Honeymoon dinner. It was lovely
Wonderful experience and fantastic food!!
Amazing atmosphere, fantastic setting. Service was marginal and food was unique but just okay. We loved the spicy seafood tostada appetizer. Tuna was good but the fresh sustainable catch was meh. After dinner we sat in the bar for a couple drinks and the bartenders were excellent. If we come back, that’s where we would go.
Food was fair nothing special other than the lovely environment. Service was good but overpriced and difficult to get to.
