Food was good, hot, and came out quick. The tableside guacamole was the bomb!!! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive
The manager was amazing made my father in law birthday feel special.,
I have been coming to Acapulco for over 20 years but I have noticed over the last 2 years that the food is not as tasty as it used to be. I ended up with a stomach ache today. The meat was dry and food was cold. I think if I go back it will be just for drinks.
I was upset I had a reservation and when I got there and they said I didn't have a reservation and it was for my birthday dinner it was so embarrassing
wouldnt order the picadillo beef taco again, but the grand mariner margarita rocks!!
First time here for Sunday brunch and we’ll definitively return. Even my picky eaters left stuffed from all the yummy food. Our server Joanna was great.
Great time with my sons for Sunday brunch!!!
This is a neighborhood eatery that we frequent on a regular basis. Food is always good as is the service. The only problem I have ever had with them is that they aren't familiar with how to use their Opentable app. We had a reservation on Thurs. May 31st and when I got home there was a notification from Opentable that stated we had NOT shown up for our reservation nor had I cancelled said reservation ! ! I called the restaurant (Acapulco) and spoke with a Gentleman (the Manager ?) who said they were not familiar with how to use the app. but was open to trying to fix the problem. The problem was fixed and I received my points, but who needs that aggravation after an enjoyable evening out ? ?
Great time every time.
Good is very delicious and service is always great.
It was cinco de mayo. Everything was good except the volume. It was way too loud and I will not go back there on that day. Two bands at top volume. Way too loud!!!
Came here for Easter brunch with the family. The food was amazing, service was excellent, and the outdoor dining area was perfect. The only criticism is that the mariachi band charged us $10 for one song. I thought that was a tad bit high but I don't know what the going rate is. Overall, it was a great value and experience for Easter Sunday.
Margarita Mondays are always a good choice.
I wanted to stay to dance but there was too much people so I left early.
It doesn't matter whether you have a reservation or not on Sundays. The priority will always be for those interested in the buffet, even if the buffet only has 15 mins left. An additional wait time basically forfeited the need of reservations
The staff was attentive and friendly! They were very accommodating. The food was hot and delicious!
Only thing was the restaurant was extremely cold. I had to dine with my jacket and so did the entire table.
Hostess was was rude and did not want to honor my opentable reservation for three people. She said because I had made the reservation earlier the same day I was considered as a walk in and would be seated according to my arrival. I talked to her supervisor and was seated as soon as next table was ready.
Will not be returning.
Great food ———————-+++++nice atmosphere . Service was average.
The food is mediocre. The service was great, our bottomless mimosas were never empty. It was a hot Sunday, the AC was not working. It felt awful inside and out.
We had our reservations at 915pm and arrived exactly at that time upon arriving and giving my name we were told by the hostess we had to arrive 10min before our reservation when it was never stated in the website nor anywhere else, she said they were backed up and how we had to be there 10 min before, i was celebrating my birthday i was with family and friends and it was my first time here i didnt take no for an answer so asked for the manager she left came back two minutes later and we were seated everything about that night was good except that. Mabye i missed it somewhere on the website but if it would have said arrive 10 min before we would have. Club was good bar guys were fast to serve would recommend.
I called a day and the day of to confirm my reservation and once I arrived they did not have me on the list and took about 20 mins to set up my table
This decor has been upgraded and looks nothing like the older themed restaurants. Found the music level in the bar for a mid-week to be loud, challenge to talk. The outside patio is nice for dining, heat lamps are adequate.
The service wasn't great at all took to long for drinks and food over 25 minutes for drinks only
We were seated right away for obvious reasons, for reserving a spot. We were seated in a closed room that had other tables too, but was suffocating at the same time. Brunch was delicious ( waffles & champagne) .Overall me and my family had fun especially being my dads birthday as well.
Great place, customer service was outstanding, food was wonderful, can't wait to go back!
Found a piece of what looked to be part of a paper clip, total turnoff
Great place came back the following Sunday with new family members showing them how great the New Acapulco was!! Totally recommend
When I arrived they didn't know I was coming didn't have the open table app opened so they were not ready! But great food.
Father day and birthday
I loved the management and waiters they were on point and ready for my group of 8. My only luck was there was another bigger group there and made too much noise I think they were playing games and it was more then just a bday celebration. But besides that everything was amazing food and music and seating and the cute dessert bar
My family of 9 people and I went on Mother's day, we arrived on time and our table was ready for us so we had no waiting! and we were so shocked how attentive our waitress was. Overall best restaurant experience for the family. Highly recommend!
What is the point of making a reservation? We were told that we still had to wait about an hour or more!! Very disappointed!! We will not be reserving here again!!
I made a reservation a week in advance for mother's day. My mother in law cannot sit or stand for too long so I thought making a reservation would be best to avoid the wait. I called fifteen min. before the reservation to say we were on the way but may be five minutes late. They told me the wait for a reservation was already at an hour or more. This made no sense to me as it defeated the purpose of a reservation. So we canceled and went somewhere better. If you know you can't accommodate the principles behind a reservation, even on a holiday, perhaps you shouldn't have the option to make them on days like that.
Acapulco has always been a good spot for Sunday brunch. Great selection and a reasonable price. However, having to wait an additional 30 mins with reservations placed more than 2 weeks in advanced seems harsh. I understand it was mother's day. However, every restaurant sees an influx of clientele and accommodates accordingly. The waiter would disappear and wasn't attentive for the drinks portion.
Good service. Will be back soon. Good brunch.
It took 90 minutes, yes an hour & a half to get our food. I ordered a cup of chicken tortilla soup as an appetizer and got it (5) min before the food came out. My meal was Salmon & veggies, the fish was dry. My husband ordered the seafood pozole, the bowl was HALF full & the majority with homony. My mom ordered chicken & shrimp fajitas, LOTS of onions on the plate, with 4 strips of chicken & a few shrimp. My sister ordered the combination plate her taquitos had no guacamole & the waitress said that's how it's served!. The only thing with out fail was my dad's dessert. I realize it was Mothers Day. But, if they're not equipped to handle the busy load & don't have enough food they should be up front with their customers (before going in). We know we're bound to wait a LONG time to sit down. But once you're inside, it shouldn't take 90 min for your meal, get a bad food experience , not the amount of food you're paying for, get an appetizer 85 min later, wait for ever for drinks & yet pay $30 a plate!!!!.
I had one of the best margaritas I've had in my life! Perfect at the end of a long day.
As always the food was good but the service was excellent. You can find decent food anywheree but finding excellent service is what sets this place apart. Everyone from the hostesses, the servers, bushelp and cooks are all polite and attentive. It is also a plus and says alot to see the managers always on the floor interacting with the staff and customers but more importantly assisting anywhere, everywhere and anticipating your next request before you even know it.
Easter brunch was everything
When I arrived to the Resturant the host did not know about my reservation for 19 people. I had received two email confirmations I figure I did not need to call to confirm. Despite, this situation they were able to accommodate a table for us. The food and service was good overall.
I don't know if I can trust Open Table. Acapulco host said that they didn't have my reservation. The 2 hosts at the front gave each other a look and the 2nd host said that next time, I should just call the restaurant.
