Our waterfront restaurant features locally inspired Eastern North Carolina cuisine with fresh local seafood, hand cut steaks, and seasonal ingredients. 34° North is renowned for its cuisine which is rooted in local farms and pristine waters.

Our menus grant guests a passport to experience delicious locally inspired cuisine and hand-crafted specialty cocktails amidst a relaxed island setting overlooking Taylor’s Creek.

34° North, serves breakfast, lunch, and upscale dinner daily.

34° North captures the island ambiance unique to its Beaufort locale. Dine inside or on the outdoor patio, a covered open-air dining space overlooking Taylor’s Creek and Rachel Carson Reserve, home to over 30 amazing wild horses. The outstanding island views constantly change. Reservations are recommended at all times and outside seating is by request and is not guaranteed.

We had reservations for Sunday brunch and were seated immediately on the porch overlooking the water. It was a very pleasant day with boats slowly passing by while we ate. The weather was perfect, and our server was very attentive. We had the Crab Cake Eggs benedict, and it was absolutely delicious. The 2 crab cakes were served on a half an English muffin with a slice of country ham and topped with a poached egg. The hollandaise sauce was drizzled over the entire dish and was cooked perfectly.

We ate outside so it was a perfect setting, good food and a very nice waitress who went all out to take care of us.

The meal was fantastic! Tabitha and Neil did a fantastic job with our breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly just as ordered. Susan, our server, was very prompt to refill our glasses and came back often to check k on us. Our hostess, April, was very friendly and courteous while we waited for a table. We can’t wait to come back!

This is now two times that we have been to 34Degrees North and both times it took almost an hour between the time we ordered and the time we got our food. Server did finally check on us. We also noticed that tables that arrived well after us got their food before us. The server did recognize the issue and took good care of us later so the server did okay. Not sure what happen but seemed like the kitchen was at fault here and probably got our order mixed up or lost. Again, this is the second time this has happen to us there during brunch. We got to this restaurant occasionally since we live close.

Today it was crowded. We sat outside which was ideal. We waited an hour for our food. A overly well done burger, a cold omelet that was rubbery, chicken sausage dry and hard, Turkey sandwich no basil mayo, so it was dry. Our waitress had no control of the kitchen and the delay. Too bad. It was not what we expected for a birthday celebration for 6 people.

We decided to drive down for brunch on our anniversary. It was a very pleasant experience and somewhat upscale without being too uptight. it was perfect for the occasion and we enjoyed our server and the food very much.

Portions were small, airline chicken was about the size of a thigh - should have been named airline chick, for my taste, they need more basics and less froufrou.

I have had good experiences here in the past but it has been awhile. The menu was much more limited than in past visits and the quality of the food had gone downhill especially for the price. I ordered a seared scallop dish and there were just a couple of flavorless half cut up soft and definitely not seared scallops in some unseasoned pasta that was such poor quality for an almost 40 dollar dish. It was very disappointing.
