I found this restaurant on Open Table and selected it based on the description and ratings. The location turned out to be very convenient as well. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and service and can highly recommend it.
Everything about or visit was great, good was fantastic, wines were great. We had the charcoal filet, ribs, asparagus, artichoke, olives and fried peppers.
Simply outstanding, could not fault the food and service we will certainly be returning on our next visit to Barcelona
In our 8-day stay in BCN, this was the only restaurant we returned to dine a second time. We loved the food, the energy, and the service.
The place is exceptional and food is just DELICIOUS! We chose this place according reviews to meet a big family group like 8 people. We are quite choosy about the food, but everything here was so tasty and presentation of all dishes was so beautiful! Even kids were so happy about their food. Absolutely recommend this place!

Selbst das Mittagsmenü war außergewöhnlich, exklusiv und sehr lecker. Schade dass wir es am letzten Tag erst entdeckt haben. Wir hätten gerne auch andere Tapas probiert. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
One of the better meals we had in Barcelona! Great twist on tapas, great service and they even accommodated our daughters by making "plain" pasta with out the truffle and cheese. I would highly recommend this place.

This is one of the few restaurants that you can book through open table . We arrived late and we were still accommodated. We were greeted with a smile and seated promptly. We were happy to dine al fresco and enjoyed the scenery around us . The chef is amazing to say the least . We ordered several tapas including gnocchi in truffle cream sauce, pork spare ribs and a swordfish roll . The only thing we did devour was the eggplant. It was more like a dessert as it was sweet than savory as expected. The tiramisu was a delightful surprise. It was served in a clay pot with fresh basil and a strawberry . The service was friendly and quick. Dishes are carefully prepared rather than in mass quantities like the restaurant that was packed next door . I would highly recommend this dining experience to any one looking for exceptional Spanish tapas in Barcelona.
Restaurant 2254 is a neighborhood gem!! A fabulous tapas restaurant That accepts open table reservations. Outstanding service, team style, scenic dining room, beautiful food, and a great value. Outstanding dishes included the chefs calamari risotto with plankton; lobster claw gazpacho soup with mascarpone cream ; pumpkin and foie gras; chicken and shrimp marinated skewers ; rolled Seabass wrapped with nori seaweed, almond sauce and truffle oil ; Mochi and truffle; I am the scrumptious blue fin tuna takaki!! Save room for dessert especially the raspberry nitro panna cotta ice cream it arrives at the table steaming !
Restaurant was very nice looking and the staff friendly and pretty helpful. We were only disappointed by the food due to the small portions. Ordered the prawn balls and asked if possible to share between six was told yes and it was the size of a golf ball. The pulled pork tacos was only one and not much of a sharing dish. In summary very nice restaurant but dishes are really for 1 person not for sharing really.

This place was awesome and weirdly not busy. Food was amazing, presentation was exceptional. Only thing that would hav remade it better would be some music to improve the vibe and ambiance.
First time in Barcelona, had went to 2254 for tapas!! Soooo good. Service was great. The staff was so kind and helpful. Atmosphere was great. Hope to go back someday!
We went here 2 nights ago but had to come back. We tried the chef’s style oysters and the boneless oxtail. But were delicious but the liquid fritters and spare ribs reign supreme.
We had a fantastic meal that got better and better as they brought out dishes. The liquid fritters and spareribs were dynamite and make me want to eat there again tomorrow. Their creme brûlée was a creative and delicious way to top off our meal.
The tapas was so good and creative that we went twice. I would highly recommend. It is much better than the tapas place next door which seems to always have a waiting line. We will eat here again.
Absolutely wonderful, amazing dumplings,service,wine. So good that we ate there two out of our three nights in Barcelona. Will dream about the seafood cappuccino.
Marvellous, creative dishes. Excellent scallops and oysters, amazing woodsmoked salmon.. beautifully and whimsically presented without being fussy or overdone. Wonderful to be seated opposite the kitchen and see the chefs at work. Definitely go.. wait staff are very friendly and atmosphere is buzzy and lively.
We had a fellow traveler tell us to go here. Our server was nice but very slow. The food was not the quality that we hoped for.

Our first night in Spain and Barcelona couldn’t have been better. We were seated next to the open kitchen and watched chef Nuncio Cona at work. We picked around 10 tapas dishes to share and they were all excellent but the stand out was the duck gyoza’s. At the end we had some of chefs Limoncello which was the best. Don’t miss this restaurant if in Barcelona.
Couldn’t have made a better choice for my first tapas restaurant in Barcelona. Just the name of the restaurant has so much to tell and Chef really got it right! Perfect balance between Italian flavours and Spanish cuisine. It’s a must-go and I will probably will go back before leaving.

We were in Barcelona for only a day and a night (we will return as we loved the city) and found 2 restaurants on Open Table to try, one for lunch and one for dinner. We ate here for dinner and loved it. The service was wonderful, the food creative, and just incredibly delicious!! We will come back here when we return to Barcelona. Highly recommended.
