One of my best meals ever. We enjoyed the tasting menu for lunch paired with cocktails/wine. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They spoke English perfectly. We chose to not see the menu but instead be surprised by each course. Each dish was perfect - interesting indigenous ingredients, colorful and exciting presentations, lots of different textures. PERFECT beverage pairings with wines from Spain and France, mescal cocktails, craft beer, and even a sake. By far our most pricey meal in Mexico City but well worth it. I could not imagine another trip to Mexico City without a meal at Quintonil.

Oh my! The tasting menu at lunch was outstanding. The creativity with local flavors and textures created a unique dining experience, which was beautifully paired with a new drink for each course. Four of us dined and one has a shellfish allergy and one does not eat one of the meats on the menu. The chef made amazing substitutions each delicious in its own way but staying in the theme of the rest of the plates. Delightful. Will be sure to go there again when I’m back in town.

We enjoyed the tasting menu. It does take time, so if you do not have 3-4 hours for lunch, just order off the wonderful menu. If you are a tourist coming to CMDX, book a few months ahead on Open Table so you can eat at your preferred time and date...

We had the tasting menu. We were all very disappointed. Some plates were very salty or very acidic, the temperature of the food was odd in a bad way. And to top it all it is very expensive. Over priced.

We tried all of the top-rated tasting menus on this trip to Mexico City and Quintonil was — by far — our favorite. It's even better than the world-famous restaurant a few blocks way. The service was tops, the food was amazing, and the whole experience was just perfect. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Every single course was wonderful... creative and delicious. The pairings were adventurous, yet perfect with each course. I cannot recommend this place enough. Go! Now!

As soon as we decided to travel to Mexico City we looked into booking at Quintonil. Using Open Table, we were able to get a reservation. It was fantastic. The food was creative, delicious, and beautifully presented- actually works of art. The use of local and novel ingredients made the meal an adventure. We did the tasting menu with pairing and, for anyone going to Quintonil for the first time, I would say that is a must. They use some very interesting ingredients that, if ordering off of the al a carte menu, I would have avoided (escamoles, corn smut), but I am glad that I was able to enjoy the dishes that the chef put together using these items. The beverage pairing was top notch--not just wine, but cocktails, sherry, wine and even beer with one course. Well thought out and perfectly paired.
