Sobre valorado en extremo
We don’t speak Spanish but everyone is fluent in English, a bonus for us
This restaurant is 22 on a list of the top 50 restaurants in the world. It should rank higher
Each dish is a symphony of flavors, confusing and delighting the tastebuds
It would be a mistake to miss this one
For this quality of restaurant, the price is quite reasonable. The sommelier was a delight
Lived up to the hype. Beautiful dishes that were patiently explained by the waitstaff. Wonderful new tastes and flavors. Manager walking the floor to ensure patrons were happy. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Amazing food! Amazing service! Better than Pujol
Just ok. I’d rate it below a one star Michelin experience in terms of food and presentation.
Service was slow, too.
While the ingredients are very exotic most dishes had a boring taste. No dish wowed us . This is from the perspective of a San Francisco resident who frequently dines in one star restaurants.
Food was much better and more innovative than Pujol! Service needs improvement though - our meal lasted almost 5 hours mostly due to long gaps between courses.
A truly exceptional meal. Amazing contrast between the Mexican flavors and modern cooking technique.
One of my best meals ever. We enjoyed the tasting menu for lunch paired with cocktails/wine. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They spoke English perfectly. We chose to not see the menu but instead be surprised by each course. Each dish was perfect - interesting indigenous ingredients, colorful and exciting presentations, lots of different textures. PERFECT beverage pairings with wines from Spain and France, mescal cocktails, craft beer, and even a sake. By far our most pricey meal in Mexico City but well worth it. I could not imagine another trip to Mexico City without a meal at Quintonil.
Oh my! The tasting menu at lunch was outstanding. The creativity with local flavors and textures created a unique dining experience, which was beautifully paired with a new drink for each course. Four of us dined and one has a shellfish allergy and one does not eat one of the meats on the menu. The chef made amazing substitutions each delicious in its own way but staying in the theme of the rest of the plates. Delightful. Will be sure to go there again when I’m back in town.
Siempre es bueno soborear cada uno de los sabores que le ponen a cada platillo, no deja de sorprenderme, excelentes platillos y servicio
We enjoyed the tasting menu. It does take time, so if you do not have 3-4 hours for lunch, just order off the wonderful menu. If you are a tourist coming to CMDX, book a few months ahead on Open Table so you can eat at your preferred time and date...
Absolutely fabulous food, loved it.
We had the tasting menu. We were all very disappointed. Some plates were very salty or very acidic, the temperature of the food was odd in a bad way. And to top it all it is very expensive. Over priced.
We tried all of the top-rated tasting menus on this trip to Mexico City and Quintonil was — by far — our favorite. It's even better than the world-famous restaurant a few blocks way. The service was tops, the food was amazing, and the whole experience was just perfect. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Every single course was wonderful... creative and delicious. The pairings were adventurous, yet perfect with each course. I cannot recommend this place enough. Go! Now!
Excellent food and ambience. Had the best coffee ive ever had! Food was terrific. Good size portions.
Amazing. Best meal of my life
Perfection. Come for an experience of a lifetime. The Som is amazing; half the genius is in the pairings.
The food and service was great. Am recommending friends and family to dine here if they go to Mexico City
As soon as we decided to travel to Mexico City we looked into booking at Quintonil. Using Open Table, we were able to get a reservation. It was fantastic. The food was creative, delicious, and beautifully presented- actually works of art. The use of local and novel ingredients made the meal an adventure. We did the tasting menu with pairing and, for anyone going to Quintonil for the first time, I would say that is a must. They use some very interesting ingredients that, if ordering off of the al a carte menu, I would have avoided (escamoles, corn smut), but I am glad that I was able to enjoy the dishes that the chef put together using these items. The beverage pairing was top notch--not just wine, but cocktails, sherry, wine and even beer with one course. Well thought out and perfectly paired.
Great service, splendid meal, lovely pairings. My partner and I left wowed.
Quintil is now on my top of the lists. The sample menu worth every penny. The wine selection to pair the menu from the sommelier was also outstanding. Congratulations to all the team
Not only does it garner a #22 on the top 50 restaurants of the world, it does so with soul. The meal was both delicious and emotional. Completely unforgettable.
Excelente gourmet mexicana food.
Fantastic. Totally worth being #6 in Latinamerica and #24 in the world. Well done!
Recomendado.
The food was very very good, we appreciate it very much. Octopus, beans and tortilla yucatana and scallop dish very simply wonderful. The sommelier was very good to explaine all the matches with wines and drinks.
Thank you, we appreciate it.
Excelente servicio y la cena como siempre muy sabrosa. Pasamos una velada excelente en el Quintonil.
Excelente servicio y comida.
Extremely nuanced & unique gem of a restaurant in one of the quieter neighborhoods in CDMX. One of the top restaurants in Mexico. A must!
The food was exceptional and unique, showcasing Mexican ingredients at every turn. The service was gracious despite my lack of Spanish skills and the pacing was great.
We were blown away by almost every course of the tasting menu. The ones we weren't blown away by were still amazing. The food took us on a journey with each course building or transitioning from the previous smoothly. We wanted to savor every bite and every moment of the meal.
Amazing tasting menu, did not leave you too full. A very long experience (over 4 hours!) so plan accordingly. Was extremely accommodating to our group allergies (gluten, cilantro, onion). Decor was just okay for a fine dining restaurant. Being charged for was annoying when we were spending so much money already but small price to pay. Presentation of the food was amazing. Previously dined at Pujol and this was much better food (taste and appearance, like works of art!)
We needed to double the size of the party and they provided alternatives to make it happen. Everything was very good. Outstanding food.
