Prime Italian calificaciones y reseñas
The garlic cheese bread is sinfully good, wine selection is excellent, and the Sea bass special (recommended by our waiter) was delightful. Don't miss the mixed green salad with a light lemon vinaigrette. The excellent service made the evening complete.
Extensive Menu and good food throughout the selections. Just about had them all over the years. However, they have some 'new' initiative that asks their guests to order the appetizer and entree together at the same time. No more ordering appetizer while you scan the extensive menu. I personally don't like being told how to order from a restaurant. Very uncomfortable. With this exception, it's a good restaurant.
A ripoff at its best! Being French and a foodie, I regularly eat at high end restaurants as well as reasonably priced establishments. My wife wanted to try this restaurant with the kids for Mother's Day. Let's cut to the chase, the food is nothing special, neither good nor bad and considering that, very, very overpriced. My son ordered a risotto which ended up costing $60 simply because they added a miserable portion of truffle on top of it. My penne with vodka sauce was $30 and the tiramisu did not taste at all like one with absolutely no hint of coffee or espresso to it and it was super dry. The waitress was hard to find every time we needed her attention and we needed to ask at least 3 times where she was. Anyway, $500 later, I feel robbed and taken advantage of. I really don't mind paying hundreds even thousands of dollars for a good restaurant but paying that kind of money for such a poor culinary experience is just a typical south beach ripoff. To be avoided!
Terrible. I am a huge fan of Prime One Twelve, so I thought I would try their Italian partner. Food was giant but lacked refinement. Waiter didn't really care whether or not I even ate one dish I ordered- it was terrible. Try another place.
We went on a Wednesday night so the experience was excellent. Seated outside and it was a quieter night. our waiter took extra time with us to go over everything. Sea bass is always amazing and the poke special was way better then most of the tuna tar tares in South Beach. If you want good food, recommend over Prime 112.
The atmosphere was fantastic. I was promised the best Veal parm ever, but it was average at best (a little over cooked and dry). The corn, bread and salad was fantastic. overall, taking into account price vs. value, it is very expensive for average quality food. You pay for location, but there are much better Italian cuisine's in South Florida.
My only complaints are that we were kept waiting for our 10.00pm reservation a bit too long. We didn't get seated until almost 11. It was Saturday night so it's understandable. The other thing, they brought the appetizers and the entree at the same time and it wouldn't fit on the table. Our server was great so it was a nice evening.
Our steak was under cooked and every time we asked for something the waitress seemed bothered. We returned the Alfredo fettuccine pasta and was advised the cook and manager said the pasta wasn't salty, my palate is definitely different than theirs.
although this restaurant posts a dress code of business casual people arrive like slobs in sneaks and shorts and backwards baseball caps and were let in. They were not seated to a side area so that those of us that dressed properly and paid upwards of 300-400 for dinner could feel like we were surrounded by people who wanted to dine and not eat pizza, appts and dessert or just a salad . The restaurant could have written casual dress and I would not have been offended, but to get dressed up nicely and pay the amount of our bill I can go to Palm Beach and feel more comfortable. They need to decide who they want in their place , as I could not rec this place even with the wonderful meal we had to our friends who would feel as we did , out of place with the slobs around us.
Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive . I forgot his name but he was bald, white, very nice. Everyone there except one of the hostesses were really friendly. The hostess was rude right when I walked in the door. Instead of welcoming me, she asked, "Did you make a reservation ?" She had No smile and looked miserable . She had short black hair, black large glasses, skinny, I believe Asian. Other than that, the food was amazing and our waiter was awesome! Beautiful restaurant!!!
Our waitress gave us an attitude because we ordered 3 meals instead of 4 . They specialize in family style . Never gave us the specials of the day . Some of our food didn't come until our table was cleared and we were done eating . Terrible service probly the worst I have ever had .
The food is good. Very overpriced appetizers and main courses (you have to purchase sides). Servers continually tried to up-sell the expensive items... especially liquor, appetizers and desserts. There are far better Italian restaurants in Miami, at far lower price points. It's more of a place to go because of its name.
The food was amazing, especially the meatballs, my only issue is the waiter didn't tell us we were ordering so much food. For 2 people, the meatball and an appetizer are more than enough. Make sure you book for more than 2 if you want to make sure you get the most out of your experience. Leftovers are great but probably won't travel well. Had to leave back to NY.
I usually like Prime Italian but this last visit was very disappointing! Our bread came cold, our fries came soggy and my husband had to get up and serve us from our champagne bottle because it seems like our server didn't even care. The place was not crowded so a actually don't understand why the poor service. I'm not sure if I will come back.
