Obsession Of India
Booked for a meal pre gig at nearby St Luke’s. Food excellent and attentive service.
Bathrooms clean and interesting mirror.
Highly recommend and will return if in that side of the city
Will definitely be back. Opted for the pre theatre on our first visit but will explore the full menu after an excellent experience. All aspects of our visit were brilliant.
Excellent, thoroughly deserve their high rating. South Indian garlic chilli is to die for.
Very good service and food, would definitely re visit
This was our first time here, and it won’t be our last! The staff were extremely friendly, the restaurant is a beautiful space and the food was incredible! If I had one tiny thing to change, it would be the techno music (but that’s just personal taste!). We can’t wait to come back.
Great restaurant situated in High St. Friendly efficient service with an excellent menu and affordable prices. I would recommend this restaurant and will return.
Obsession of India has become our Indian restaurant of choice when we visit Glasgow. It is very friendly, and the food is always excellent.
Delicious food and great value for money. Service was prompt and very friendly. We opted to dine here due to positive reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. Lamb Korma was perfectly cooked and the other items we ordered were of a very high standard too. Would definitely return and recommend to everyone!
Food very fresh and highly recommendable.. will go again. Staff friendly and helpful.
Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. The food and service is always perfect.
The best indian in Glasgow and by far the best Indian i have ever had, the service is unbelievable and the atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely. The food portion is perfect the reason i love this place so much is the creaminess of the curries i usually get a chicken korma and its to die for theres so much to dip my nan in you will never run out. There peshwari nan is out of this world, the staff are so lovely and helpful you will not be sorry about this place.
Excellent service, good food and a great dining experience
Great staff and amazing food. Second visit would defo come back 😄
The service we received was incredible. Staff were extremely attentive. Our meals were delicious and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was lovely and restaurant, although small, was beautiful inside.
Best Indian I’ve had will be back next month awesome service and food was perfect
We visited this place a year ago when the food was excellent. This time it was crap! Nan bread and pakora stale. Lamb had too much fat on it. Place was empty-says it all
Superb food, excellent service. A thoroughly pleasant and unrushed meal.
Don’t be deceived by the unimposing outside, this little restaurant is fantastic. Very well presented inside and the food is gorgeous, as well as being great value. The staff are great and very attentive but not in your face and distracting. For a relaxing, good quality evening at great value this is hard to beat.
We've eaten here four times and it's always been great. The food on the chef's specialty menu is some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys curry.
Closing down …………….. for refurbishment (Thank Goodness!!)
Again a wonderful meal for my wife and myself. This is a gem of an Indian Restaurant. When I worked in London, we lived in a very vibrant Asian community with plenty of Asian restaurants to choose from - in fact we were spoilt for choice! However, having tried many Indian restaurants in Glasgow, this one stands out BIG TIME! The food is excellent. The service second to none. Our waitress Sangita was just superb. She came back to check that each and every dish was just right for us. We had a couple of Poppadums' to start with accompanied by the most superb spiced onion dip. Instead of the usual starter we had a Garlic and Coriander Naan bread - thin and just superb as always! Helen had the Lamb Rogan Josh (off the bone) and I had the Garlic Chilli Chicken and asked for it to be extra hot - and it was!!! Both dishes cooked to perfection for the booth of us along with the fried rice. The portions are large - you have been warned and in fact both Helen and myself couldn't finish our curries and Sangita very kindly packaged them up for us to take away - how kind is that? Once the restaurant is refurbished, we will be back! Thank you Sangita for making us both so welcome and of course the little present!!!!! Thank you so much. Mike & Helen.
Overall enjoyed the evening. Chicken pakora starter good. Mains also good. Service friendly. Only points: had booked a table but didn't seem to matter - just sit where you like,; the side dish of fried rice on miserly side. Restaurant not the cheapest gig in town so could increase portion sizes including main, lots of sauce but a wee bit more chicken would not hurt. Overall though good food and nice place.
Great tasting food let down a little by the fish and the meat being dry.
Great staff. Reasonably priced.
Couldn’t have been nicer for food and service at our birthday dinner. Very helpful staff and food was wonderful as usual. Went that extra mile for a special celebration and made it very memorable. Thanks so much to staff xx
Food was phenomenal from start to finish not a single thing I could complain about and the kingfisher on draft was perfect one of the best Indians in Glasgow if not the best
Restaurante con comida típica hindú y con un servicio muy atento. La verdad es que celebramos la comida de Navidad y tuvieron detalles muy bonitos con nosotros. Se agradece la amabilidad y el servicio en estas fechas donde la ciudad cierra al completo.
There is not much to say for this amazing Indian restaurant. Excellent food and service. I will definitely visit them again the next time I will visit Glasgow.
The main courses were gorgeous and filling.
The pakora was not the best though.
We went for my wife’s birthday our party included a 10 month and a 3 year old and the staff were fantastic with them.
Food was great everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
Great service good food overall would recommend.
This is the second time we visited here and we were bitterly disappointed this time! I had lamb karahi and the sauce was very thick never had any peppers in it and the meat was like cheap cubes of lamb like you would buy from a freezer shop ice cream was miniscule for £4.50 no we won't be back EVER
Lovely meal, great service, staff friendly and helpful
Fabulous meal and great atmosphere. Will be back when next in the area.
First time eating here and very impressed. On a busy Friday night I was delighted to just get a table but the food was awesome. We were in a slight hurry as we were heading to the Barrowlands but will come back and savour the experience a little bit more. The food was pretty fabulous (paneer karahi for me and lamb rogan josh for my better half). Very good parathas and excellent service. Top class.
Second visit to this restaurant & it never let us down. Very busy on a Saturday night but when we got our table we were not disappointed. Quality of food was excellent. Service was first class & very friendly. Had a great night & will certainly be back.
Disappointed that we had to wait over 30mins for our table even though we arrived on time and then were seated at a table for 4 although there were 6 of us. After requesting more space the table was extended however it was a very tight squeeze in a very small restaurant. Would not recommend for parties if more than 4.
Superb food. Great service. Would definitely go again. Our group of 11 all agreed it was the best Indian food we have ever eaten.
Fantastically tasty food, great service and excellent value for money. I did not spend a treat amount of time on the menu, but ut looked extensive enough, will return and try alternatives. For info, I had Chicken Bhuna, which was superb, not too spicy but very tasty.
Outstanding customer service/ very pleasant staff. Food incredible. Staff go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied. Will be back soon.
Charming staff. Delicious food
