Delightful restaurant for a special meal. The food is delicious and thoughtfully created. A chance to experience some different flavours and combinations. The noise quietened towards the end of lunch which was good. A lovely experience to share with friends.

We don't usually write restaurant reviews, but we do read reviews when deciding where to eat. The reviews for il Passaggio were fairly negative and we had already decided not to try it, until my partner's sister (who is a great cook and a dedicated foodie)recommended it. We had a fantastic meal served by very helpful friendly staff while looking out over the water. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the prawn linguine (despite all the negative reviews of that dish) and I had a delicious pizza. We will definitely eat there again.

A wonderful experience of magnificent food & service. The best meal I have had at a restaurant for a while. I only wish I could have tried every dish. Only comment, I feel the wine list was a little limited in some varieties with some a tad expensive for what they were. I had as a main the blue eyed cod which was cooked to perfection & served artistically. I struggle a little with the fact this dish was $52 for a very small piece of cod & sides extra, which were necessary. If I lived closer I would be a frequent diner at this restaurant. Congratulations & well done to all the staff & chef.

Absolutely outstanding! We were looking for a decent pizza and Bar Monti delivered so much more than we expected. The pizzas were the best I can remember having, better than many award-winning places I've been to. Beautiful crusts, excellent toppings, cooked to perfection. 10/10. The rest of the meal was also excellent. I'm not sure how Sicilians would feel about savory cannoli, but they were delicious! And the rigatoni with lamb ragu was wonderful as well. The decor and ambience are exactly what you'd want from a classy Italian restaurant. I can't say enough good things about this place!
