We went for a friend’s birthday lunch and there was 6of us, we were made very welcome and all the safe said hello, we had a beautiful table with a birthday banner on and nothing was a problem for the staff. Staff were always smiling even though it was very busy they were taking time to check in with people to have a small chat. Are food came out all at the same time and was fresh and hot,, looked beautiful presented. The even sang happy birthday with a cake for her which just made the whole lunch memorable, overall a fantastic lunch thank you silvers panty

We visited for a family Sunday roast and booked online through OpenTable. The menu was varied, but in the end we all opted for roast beef. It was accompanied by a variety of tasty and colourful vegetables and a gloriously puffy Yorkshire pudding. Gravy served separately in gravy boats (bonus mark!). The beef itself was wonderful. Sometimes a tender joint lacks flavour and vice versa, but on this occasion both were achieved. Bravo! We chose different desserts - I can personally verify that the salted pistachio semifreddo was superb. Everyone else left similarly clean plates. Everyone who served us was friendly and helpful - we felt that we were genuinely welcome, and look forward to repeating the experience before too long.

Good choice on the menu and the food was very good, reasonably priced and in a relaxed mood. Service was excellent and would highly recommend. We will be back again.
