One of our local favorites. Even though I now live in NYC, love to eat at Mele whenever in town. The owner is charming and the food is always excellent. Love their fresh seafood!!

Food was good. Service was great. The only thing that was bothersome was they had a large dining room area and they insisted on putting everyone right next to each other. There was only 5 tables sat but they were all placed within 5-6 feet of each other with an entire side of the restaurant wide open

We spent 2 nights at Mele. I wrote a review from first visit. We like the food, service
and venue so much we returned for our 2nd night in Arlington. Both visits were just
excellent. You will enjoy this bistro very much. We certainly did.

We went from Georgia for a funeral for our Brigadier General family member at Arlington National Cemetery so we stayed nearby. After researching restaurants
with Covid policy, menu choices we liked and the reviews, I made reservations for
Mele. What a wonderful find. The owner and his staff are attentive and the food
was excellent! The lamb serloin was delicious and one of the party had seafood
pasta. To emphasize how pleasant was our experience we returned the next night.
The calamari appetizer was delicious and we remarked delicate and not rubbery.
I am from Athens Georgia known for gourmet dining. I wish this restaurant were
here for me to go often. I highly recommend Mele Bistro.

I LOVE this place. Very intimate and home like setting. The staff are very personable and make you feel like you've known them for years. I will always come back to support this business.

Cozy fu my abd friendly. We had oysters from chincoteague which was done of the edd see t I ever had. The lender frank is very proud of the the selection of fish and meat.

Food was good - service was poor - waaay overcrowded for social restrictions! Even people waiting for tables (hovering) not wearing masks. Too close for comfort for me.

It is a charming Arlington restaurant with an ebullience owner and attentive staff. The food is delicious and moderately priced. The wine list is perfect for the restaurant. I am looking forward to returning as soon as I can.

We were very, very pleased with the entire experience. The food was delicious, the service was great. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everyone in my party decided to return the next evening. We later had to cancel our reservation because of the curfew in DC but I hope to be back soon.

The food was fresh and the wine was good. You could tell nothing was frozen and everything was of high quality. The service was wonderful and everything was reasonably priced for the sheer quality. I would highly recommend Mele to anyone visiting DC/Arlington and the surrounding area.

I had been at Mele 3 years ago with good memories of a great menu, food, service and experience. Should of have repeated the visit long time ago.

Great food on NYE but the service and timeliness of of reservation was very disappointing. We arrived at 7:50 for a 8PM reservation and had to wait outside in the cold until 8:55PM to sit down as there were no tables available. The waiter / manager offered us wine and calamari outside but ended up charging us for the two bottles and appetizer for our group of 6 people. The food here was great but was underwhelmed with the service / accommodations for a very lately seated table we reserved for NYE a month or so prior. Wanted to go back but will likely be trying many other Italian / seafood restaurants before thinking of going back.

The service was very attentive and personal. The food is very fresh, farm to table or fresh catch.. There is a variety of pasta seafood and beef. The dining room is small But there is additional seating outside weather permitting.

This restaurant is a hidden Jewell! Never fails to deliver — great good, great staff!

Indoor tables were widely separated and staff consistently wore masks. I counted three other tables occupied in the restaurant -- we virtually had the place to ourselves. It was definitely important to make a reservation. Service was delightful and attentive. Food was excellent, as usual. I highly recommend the steamed mussels to start, homemade ravioli to follow, and you simply cannot go wrong with either the meat or fish main courses. Excellent wine selection as well. Mele has been my favorite for many years.

This by far is one of the best restaurants in Northern Virginia. And the outdoor seating is fantastic. They have heaters and a lovely tent. Do yourself a favor and go to this restaurant today.

Such a cute and honey atmosphere! The owner was present and chatted with us! The wait staff was very friendly!! Perfect spot for a date night and excellent seafood! I think its our new favorite spot in the DC area.

Food was good. Service was subpar. One waiter outside and spread thin. Meal not as described on menu tasty but substitutions were chefs choice and not as good as what was listed on menu

Nice ambience for outdoor dining- it's parking lot seating but they've put up string lights & heat lamps that make it nice. Extensive menu with lots of good options.

The food was delicious, and Frank (the owner I assume) is s charming host. Highly recommend the fresh seafood (I had the seabass and shrimp), and the house made pasta.

Wonderful menu with lots of seafood and pasta choices. All dishes were excellent. Very friendly staff.

We love this restaurant. They are always on top of great eating. The mussels were excellent, the Sea Bass excellent. Go there and find out for yourself how yummy it is.
