Pizzeria Mozza is the brainchild of renowned chef Nancy Silverton, founder of La Brea Bakery and the late LA institution Campanile Restaurant. Silverton’s obsessive quest to create the perfect pizza crust was detailed in an episode of the Netflix documentary “Chef’s Table.” Los Angeles locals and visitors get to feast on her remarkable, meticulously honed pizzas emerging from the wood-burning oven at Pizzeria Mozza. The menu offers 18 pizzas with mostly produce-forward toppings, plus substantial salads, salumi, bruschetta and a variety of antipasti. Its setting 12 stories up– notably the largest rooftop restaurant in Beverly Hills – invites a sunny dining experience augmented by panoramic views. The all-day menu features a handful of main courses along with burgers and tacos, dedicating most of its space to shareables, salads and snacks. A highlight is an appetizer-sized portion of spicy Thai chicken wings with mango and mint. Other small plates reveal a similar embrace of tropical flavors that fits nicely with the al fresco venue.
