Lebanese Taverna - Tysons Galleria
Good was good, waiter a little slow.
Our server was really nice and funny. And I noticed the manager does check on every table to make sure customers are doing okay. And that thing is rare in fancy restaurants.
Food is fabulous. But...they cram every table they can in the dining room. It's uncomfortable. The noise level is so high that you can't talk during the meal without shouting. The waitstaff is very harried. They take your order, throw the food on the table and disappear. Couldn't get more bread or water when needed. Used to think that the food was worth the lack of ambiance and service. Starting to change my mind.
Lilian should desrve a raise. She was a perfect hostess and a great facilitator.
The food quality is good. My mother loved the bread. The waiter gave us some take-home bread!
As always, a great place for a nice meal. Their appetizers are great for small meals. Love this place1
This was a last minute booking for dinner. We arrived a few minutes early to a half-filled restaurant and were seated right by the entryway (high traffic) even though there were plenty of seats further in. Our waiter came for drinks and then left. He returned afeter some time and took the orders for dinner. Dinner arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our first check in with our waiter occurred when we had finished dinner (~30 min) and asked for the check
Our waiter was attentive, food good, but quite noisy.
Great Resturant with healthy food choices
Consistently excellent from arrival to the bill.
Great food- fresh and clean eating. Attentive but unobtrusive service. Excellent for biz lunch which appears upscale without breaking the bank.
The food was outstanding. The kibbeh appetizer was delicious - perfectly seasoned. And the lamb dishes we ordered for Easter were just wonderful, especially the lamb shank. I look forward to my next visit to this restaurant.
Excellent as always !
Wonderful restaurant to enjoy a mix of hummus and Lebanese food. Our waiter George was attentive and helpful in making course selections. Will go back again.
Delicious. Wonderful everything.
The garbage trucks came two times while we were having our Luncheon Meeting al fresco. My sandwich arrived about 12 - 14 minutes after everyone else’s food. The chefs should know how to serve all plates at the same time. The servers were very helpful.
The outside tables are dangerous! The underside edges are sharp and can cut people. This is a serious problem and should be repaired immediately!
The food was very good.
I’ve eaten there several times. This was a rather lackluster performance on their part.
Good food, great ambience with better service everything could get better.
Great spot at Tyson’s Galleria in McLean! Great service too!
Excellent food and excellent staff. The wait once we ordered was about 20 minutes but the food was well worth the wait. Highly recommend.
Excellent service, tasty food and space for our group of 7. Our favorites were the spicy hummus and lamb kabobs!
Not great. Food was not that good. Salmon over cooked
Pita bread was good thi
Food disappointing this time
Service ok but has been better
Not that busy
Everything better when it is crazy busy strange
Food was great as always but service was terrible. Went for a work lunch on a bit of a time crunch and it took over 30 minutes to get our food. The waiter was less than attentive as well in terms of bringing more bread and water.
This is a good, convenient spot for lunch in Tysons. I always enjoy a booth, even in a lunch for two, because it provides a good deal of privacy for conversation. The decor of this restaurant is actually nicer than other Lebanese Taverna restaurants in the area.
Without doubt, Lebanese Taverna (in Tysons Galleria) is one of the best middle east type restaurants in our major Washington area; the food is excellent prepare and authentic, and the service is outstanding; highly recommended!
The chicken shawarma did not have any hummus or pickle in it..no sauce either... The most bland shawarma I have had ever. Even the bread was hard n flaky. Chicken Farrouj was very good, well cooked but didn't have rice served with it. Overall not worth the money. Experience could have been better
We arrived before our friends and were served wine and appetizer right away, but when our friends arrived, it took about 20 minutes for their wine to arrive. The rest of the meal was very slow in coming and the Chicken Shawarma was dry and hard. Their ice cream is delicious though.
It was a wonderful experience for my husband and I from the time we entered the restaurant until we left. The hostess, as soon as she checked our reservations, wished my husband a happy birthday. We were escorted to a very comfortable booth. Our waiter was gracious and very attentive. We ordered a glass of wine a piece. My husband decided to try the Lebanese Wine. The waiter made a suggestion and said that if my husband did not like it, the glass would be at his expense. From the wonderful shrimp appetizer, delicious entrees and surprise birthday dessert along with a rendition of Happy Birthday, the evening was perfect. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Met two very good friends for a lunch and our waiter was fabulous. The wine he suggested was enjoyed by all and the food was very tasty! I love this place.
Lebanese Taverna always does a superior job - food and service are superb!
One of my favorite places in the whole world! ❤️
TOOOOOOOOO loud at lunchtime. Fast service. Good sampler platter.
Met a friend for lunch at the Tyson’s location. The place was very busy but we were seated promptly. I had the chicken fatteh and she had the eggplant fatteh. They were both outstanding! Service was very good. We look forward to returning.
Great food as always. It was quite busy that night but our service did not suffer and the food came out in a timely manner.
Great meal as always! All the food was hot and delicious and served quickly!
There was a family dining with a little child who screamed several times, but nobody employed at the restaurant did anything about it. I know this is a delicate matter but someone should have told that couple to take the little boy outside for a few minutes until he calms down
Outstanding service and first rate food
Lunch service was efficient and food perfectly prepared!
Why don’t I dine here more often?? From start to finish a simply excellent experience.
It was great! Endless hummus is delicious.
Appetizers are best to eat to go here.. nice freshly baked bread ... but slowly going down in quality.. still my favorite Chicken shawarma and Halawet Jibne place!
