We love Albert’s. The food is always fabulous, and we have never ever been let down. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Keep doing what you’re doing. The full tables speak for themselves. It is one of most regular places to eat.

3 stars for service and ambience maybe a bit harsh because when we did get served, the service was excellent... our gripe comes from having a table booked for 6.30 and not getting seated till after 7pm, which ordinarily wouldn't have been an issue other than we had tickets for an event booked for 7:45. There were definitely not enough staff behind the bar to meet demand, however, the food was amazing, hot, tasty, reasonably priced and served timely... we didn't have to wait. So we will be back again... just look at your booking sysyem and be realistic with demand and what you can realistically deliver

We visited for brunch a few weeks ago and it was so good we booked for breakfast today. I requested a specific table and once we arrived it was good to see the table reserved for us. Our waitress Sophie was extremely professional friendly smiley and efficient. The Full English breakfasts are fantastic and it is no problem to swop items around to suit each individual. We had 3 breakfasts and 3 teas all of it absolutely delicious . Highly recommend and we will be back again in the New Year if not before

Really enjoyed our delicious food, I had the soufflé, which was soo tasty and then the sea bass which was full of flavour, I was so full I couldn’t manage a sweet. The staff looked after us and the bar area where we were sat was lovely and warm next to the fire, very cosy, especially with all the Christmas lights.

The only negative was the steak was well done not medium rare which the staff rectified & it was very tasty but when we went to pay the bill the steak has been deducted - a nice touch, thank you, we will be back x
